yeahhhh soooo here's the scoop
I really like this guy, and he's really sweet and polite..shy, you know?
Since he's in like almost all of my classes, we talk quite a bit and have recently started to talk out of school.
he's shy, and i'm terribly horrible with crushes so.
how do i make a move
like i dont even know if he likes me??
like do i just ask him?? would that ruin the friendship, make it awkward. who knows.
its kinda odd too because im typically an outgoing person with people around my age as opposed to how i was a year ago but STILL.
EDIT ON JANUARY 31st:
okay so friend was bugging him about who he likes and it turns out to be meeee
he kept dropping hints about it when she was asking one of them was like, the one that just gave it away "she likes memes"
and he doesnt know i know but he said he would ask me out when we hangout next which is tomorrow, or monday.

I understand how tough this is! If you feel pulled to tell him, I recommend you do so. If you don't it'll just honestly tear you until you finally do. I'm sure everything will be okay.

Don't worry, this is a completely normal reaction. I'm pretty jumpy about these things too, often I'll wait a year before making a move because its psychologically terrifying. However, the best option is to "just do it!" You really do feel a lot better afterword. Also, studies show that most guys want the gir to make the move because they are just as scared and awkward as us. I know it is really difficult,and there is that unfortunate risk of harming your friendship, but you'll feel so much better. However, if he is as nice as you say, he should take you liking him as a flattering thing even if he doesn't feel the same. I hope this helps.

Ooooh, That is hard. Well, just spend more time with him, and be more open with him, I guess, People start to really like others when they are decent to be around, make him laugh or something, But don't change yourself for him, Ask him questions like, fav animal, book, movie, hobbies, etc, get to know him better!
Really, only time will tell, but you do have to make a move at some point, actually ask him out when you feel like he likes you back. Here are a few ways to ask him and if he declines, it won't effect your friendship.
You started to chat out of school right? (these two only works when your texting him)
First one
You: I really like you, can we go out
(if he says no)
You: Huh? No what? (Act confused)
You: Oops, sorry wrong person XD
Second one is a bit harder
(Try to get him to ask you who you like)
Him: Do you like anyone?
You: Yeah you? (don't say anything after that)
(If he says no or replied badly)
You: Sorry, I meant yeah, you?
(in person, third one)
You: I like you, can we go out?
(if he says no)
You: Phew! Good, (random friend's name) dared me to ask you out.
All I know so far, the rest is up to you :3

Thank you everyone for the advice and such!  I actually asked him to a movie last night, and we went to see The Revenant. Beforehand, hanged out at my house for a while and talked quite a lot. It went pretty well, and we plan on hanging out again. |

my advise is get on a every day hang out even if it is a few min after school get to know him amd wait for him to makr the first move.

Not sure why my reply never posted on here.
But here's an update:
We're getting closer and closer, and it isn't unusual for us to talk to each other until 2 am in the morning on a school night. We're going to probably hangout on Monday too, plan on playing video games or watching netflix, perhaps combo of both.
