HAPPY SIXTH ANNIVERSARY!!!
A couple weeks ago, I created a thread asking for people to submit images that represented them. Back then, I said it was for a forum-related project, but nothing more. This is what that project was. An extremely old banner shop thread created by Falconstar is what inspired me to make this. That thread can be found here. The thread for submitting pictures can be found here. These are the people represented in this banner, from left to right, top to bottom:

For this entire month, there has been a storytelling event going on, in which many of you participated in by sharing stories that were either related to the forum, the game, etc. Any stories posted there will be found in this single post.

So! I've been here for 5 years, and...have seen a lot of stuff. Can't really remember most of the things that have happened though. Oops. There is one thing that will...perhaps always stick out in my mind though, haha. Telling it now, it seems like such a small thing, but it's definitely interesting to see what it's led to now.
So, sometime in 2013, before my own 13th birthday (I think aha) I was in the shoutbox (presumably as a guest, as that used to be allowed) when sky came on. As I'm sure many of you know by this point, sku is my best friend. We've even met in person before.
Anyway, I found out they were under 13, and told them they should be a guest. We uh. Got into a little argument after that, haha. I don't remember any specifics since it was...well. about 3-4 years ago cx We got into an argument the first time we met, and now, 3-4 years later, are best friends. Interesting how that works. Even more interesting how soon it happened. Within less than 6 months, we were already v good friends.
Now, another story! As some of you older members may know, (the ones who've been here since 2013 aha) I made a little story called Untold Tales School. It was a high school where members of the forum could be in! It has gone through many, many remakes haha. Some of you who haven't been here since 2013 may have seen these remakes.
When it first started in 2013, the exact day of my 13th birthday, everyone was a cat. The chapters were also very short, with the longest being only a little over 400 words. There were 7 chapters total, including the prologue. (8, technically, but chapter 7 was v short and unfinished cx) It was very disorganized, and I didn't even have a proper schedule! Also forgot to include lunch in the schedule. Oops.
About 6-7 months later, I remade the thread. Everything was the same, I just continued working on it. Still, there was no lunch. I finished chapter 7, and got all the way to chapter 13.
In early October, the 2nd remake was made. This one, the chapters were longer. I combined chapters into one, resulting in 6 chapters + the prologue. Nothing really new, the end of the previous remake was the same. This one was more organized, with a post with actual schedules posted on it. Lunch was also added, but only to the schedules.
The next remake was done with a big update. Instead of everyone being cats, they were now humans. This one didn't go on as long, although what there was was the same, just with them as cats. This time, however, lunch was actually added.
Another year later, on my 15th birthday, I rewrote the whole thing. I was getting tired of seeing my writing from when I was 13. They're still humans, but everything is far more organized and neater. There's also a lot less. I never got very far. I got the prologue and 1 chapter done. It was also...done a bit differently. In the previous versions, it was the school's first year of...well, being a school. But in this version, it was actually the fourth year. ...The length of time the forum has been up at the time.
I do plan on rewriting the whole thing once again for the remake that will happen this year. So. Uh. Look forward to that cx

Anyway, so, I remember finding the game over a YouTube video, actually, and then downloaded it around V. 8 or something. Fast forward to like V. 12 or whatever when I found the forum. Oh boy did I instantly fall in love with the rps going on on here. I remember sitting at my mom's laptop and just reading the pages of a specific clan for hours. I really wanted to join in, but didn't realize guests could post. So at like the end of August (when I was still underaged whoops) I managed to sign up. I believe I spent my first few months pretty much joining every Clan available for rping. I apologize to anybody who had to deal with my horrible English and writing. Somebody once asked me if I was homeschooled because of the weird times I was on due to my timezone and I remember that I was so confused as I didn't know what homeschooling was back then. xD
I remember that multiplayer was also always a lot of fun. In particular I remember some hunger games I participated in and also fighting Falcon like once. It was cool tbh.
There were some members I wanted nothing to do with at first that are now good friends. It's weird how that works pfftt. Looking back on it, I should've tried to find other ways to contact some of them, as I fell out of contact with a lot of friends that I would like to talk to again. Oh well, you get wiser over age, yeah?
I once started a game on rpg maker (which I will finish at one point as tribute to a friend that passed) and I remember people really encouraging me with it and wanting to help. That was really nice, to be honest. The coding on the old one was garbage tho, but I've already started redoing that.
I think what was also fun were when people on the forums jokingly shipped other members with each other. Some people didn't like it, but it seemed like a ton of fun to me, haha.
Another story that I could tell was the one how I became a mod, I guess? So, the first time I could've applied, I didn't because I was too shy. Probably a good decision, considering I wouldn't have been able to handle it back then. When applications were open again, I thought "why not?" and took a shot at it. ...I remember finishing my application at like 12 am and submitting it without proofreading. Haha, whoops. Honestly, I recall being absolutely sure that I wouldn't get picked. Funny how that turned out, isn't it?
To close this, I remember helping out with the walking animations for the sprites in the newest version among some other people (we colored the new sprites with existing pelt colors and all that). I got into a fight with somebody over a sprite. Now that I look back on it, it was such a petty fight.xD

Stormtail was a highly respected cat in the clan, and the leader was considering giving him an apprentice soon. Eventually, one day, the deputy mysteriously died in a battle at Sunningrocks. Nobody saw how he died, but one cat who was jealous of him, their name Colfur, who had recently become the new deputy, accused Stormtail of murdering the previous deputy.
A lot of other cats who were either jealous of or plain hated Stormtail joined in, and the clan had a vote to exile the warrior or not. There was a tiebreaker, which got Stormtail exiled.
Stormtail was taken by surprise. Cats attacked him and chased him as he ran far from the camp. He built a small den in ThunderClan's territory, and recruited a few cats, creating a small rogue group with a total of seven cats, three who were exiles.
The cats who joined the group were Bramblewhisker, a brown tom from ThunderClan, Moortail, a tan tom from WindClan, Pineheart, a black she-cat from ShadowClan, Raven, a black and white tom, Owl, a mottled gray tom, and patch, a calico she-cat.
They eventually created a rogue clan, and moved to ShadowClan territory. Stormtail became the leader, Pineheart became the deputy, Patch was renamed Dappleheart and she became the medicine cat, Owl and Raven became warriors known as Ravenfeather and Owlflight. Bramblewhisker and Moortail also became warriors.
-
This rogue clan was created a long time ago though, and they're gone now.
Actually, most of the story isn't cannon. But the cats and their ranks are real, but their starting names aren't real. I made that up because I forgot their names. Also, the story of Stormtail's exile is just there because I made it up while playing the game.
But the camp was originally in ThunderClan territory. I was doing the StarClan's mercy challenge, and had to move the camp. I wrote down the cats and their appearances, and it took me a long time to get them back into the new camp in ShadowClan. Rip.

The day people came on to forums as guests and started spamming the Bee Movie script everywhere was pretty wild. Even after I figured out the most efficient way to deal with it I was still cackling as I deleted the posts.
On a better note I have never really roleplayed here because I prefer full site rps to threads like what we have here, but a while back I did this interactive character adoption thread. The whole plot was my loner had found these three kits while visiting an area and was trying to find homes for them before she moved on to somewhere new. It was a lot of fun, even if I kept getting frustrated with the people who either didn't read the rules properly or didn't understand that they were meant to be winning the kits over, not just asking my cat for permission to adopt the kit of their choosing. Still though I would totally do it again sometime.

a few years ago i was on a join.me with splooshy and an old friend owleyes. i don't remember what we were doing, but suddenly, owl asked if we wanted to see the clan she was building in wcut. gladly, i accepted, and she showed it to us. it looked really nice, but there was one elder in particular who had quite a silly name.
oldtail.
it caught me completely off guard, and it's been a running joke between splooshy and i ever since. it's ended up becoming like the game for us, except instead of saying "the game" i would say "oldtail".

Dustclaw was a an outgoing and adventurous cat from WindClan. He was a bit lazy in his duties, but the kits adored all the little trinckets he brought for them to play with and he brought back his share of prey so Tallear (made up deputy name because deputies, leaders, and medicine cats don't change) tolerated his presence in the clan. Then, one day, prey started going missing. No cat understood what was going on. It was the beginning of leaf bare so rabbits were starting to go back into their dens. An investigation was launched and it was discovered that Dustclaw was sneaking prey to a hungry rouge named Scarfire, a former ThunderClan cat. Angry, the leader, Swiftstar, banished Dustclaw.
Dustlaww, embarrassed and stripped of his clan and his duties, wandered in WindClan territory, eventually finding Scarfire again. The two built a camp together and started building FireClan, which Dustclaw named after his friend. Soon, they found a young silver tabby kit named Falcon and took her in. Falconkit took very well to her clan life, and soon a ShadowClan rouge, an orange ginger she-cat named Rosethorn, joined and became Dustclaw's deputy.
On the night he became Duststar, his daughter, the newly apprenticed Falconpaw, was killed in battle. shocked by the injustice, two of the ambushers, WindClan apprentices and littermates Swiftpaw and Thornpaw, joined the clan.

I first found out about WC:UT when I was tired of having to roleplay on a laggy site with purple and green cats, and the servers always shut down constantly. I was looking up, if I can recall correctly, Warrior Cats Games, but it was about two years ago, and I can't remember. Either way, when I downloaded it and started playing, as you can imagine, I was slightly immature, and when I saw the cat sprite walking up, and almost laughed. As you can see, I was immature. Anyway, I really liked how the game was good quality, and had all the options it did! Honestly, I was surprised. When I saw the pictures of the game as well, I was like, "Oh my gosh. HOW CAN THIS GAME BE FREE?!?" But, it was. To tell the truth, it was the best Warriors fan-made game I've played. Trust me, in my quest, I came along a few good sites, but most of them weren't free, but weren't as good as this one! I've had a great time in the game, and about a year and a half later, I found out there was ^gasp^ FORUMS for the game. Of course, I freaked out. As always when I find something amazing. And, here I am!

I'll admit that I haven't been as active on here as I used to be. It is mostly because other things in life has come first and I have been busy with finishing up school. Even though my profile says my account was created in April 2012, I have really been here as long as my sister ✞~Spottedleaf ~✞ because we shared an account for the first little while. I've been around since the only website to do with this game was the Weebly site.
Even though I haven't met anyone on here in person, they have been great to me online. The person I talk to the most on here is definitely ✻Dawnleaf✻ . This does not compare to the PM conversation that my sister has going with her, but mine with Dawn still has over 1,000 pages. I have gone as far as to Skype with her on at least a weekly basis. It is hard to believe that this site has been here for nearly 6 years.
Back in 2010, before the forum existed, my sister and I used to argue over who got to play the game. That is how much we both enjoyed the game. In October 2011, my sister and I found this site and decided to share an account. We weren't very active at first but then it picked up. On Christmas Day in 2011, we both got laptops which allowed us to both have our own savefiles on the game. We each kept getting errors when we tried to post on here because we were trying to post at the same time. That is when I decided to create my own account here. January 2012 is when I first created my account here even though my profile says I created it in April. That is because I had accidentally deleted my other account. Luckily, when I recreated my account (this account) Falcon was able to restore my post count and reputation points. Honestly, I haven't roleplayed much here that is because I was already active in roleplays on another warrior cats website but I still stayed active in the Off Topic Discussions and Warrior Cats in General topics. Those are the places where I got to know so many of the great people on here.
Time has gone by and the main reason I still come on here today is so I can chat with the people in this community.

I'll tell you the story of how I met two of my closest friends on the site, Toffi and oenomaus
So, I'll start with Toffi. Back in 2014, I was new to the site and needed some encouragement. Then I received a message by a person named.. Toffee.. We spoke for a while and got a few good laughs. Then I mentioned I played Animal Jam AND FeralHeart, which are two games Toffee plays. We played and even recorded us hanging out. I was growing more confident and started to join Roleplays, so did Toffi but not as much. Toffee and I created a fun little thing for a while where we were all pirates and were using pirate speak, remember that? While roleplaying I met a new person called Discord. We roleplayed for a while and soon they created a FNaF fan-roleplay. I'm sure you've seen them, Five Nights at Fangs and Five Nights at Kittens? That was mine and Discord, now known as Claws. We also have a message system and me and Toffi talk every day, but we live so far apart that my day is her night and my night is her day.

Charm was a rogue that lived in a small rogue group. She was ginger in color with pretty amber eyes. She heard tales of the Clans, hearing how wonderful they are. The young cat then decided that she was going to join a Clan and silently stalked away from the rogue camp, fearing she was going to get caught. When she finally got to ShadowClan camp, she was attacked by the two guards. Fearing for her life, she pleaded to see their leader. Rockpaw glanced at the other guard, (whatshisname? How did I forget? I LIVE in ShadowClan... Argh). They both nodded and took her to Rotstar, how glanced up at her and polished one unsheathed claw on a stone.
"Please, can I join ShadowClan?" she asked pleadingly. Rotstar growled a no before walking off into his nest. After a few hours of grueling persuasion, she was taken into the ranks of ShadowClan.
A year or two later, Charm had taken on the name Charmheart and was a trusted warrior. But when hunting parties began getting attacked by rogues, demanding to see 'Charm', warriors began to mistrust her, thinking she was planning with the rogues. Her new mate, Redscar, was the only one who didn't doubt her. Eventually, as more and more warriors and apprentices got attacked, Charmheart was exiled with her mate, Redscar. Rotstar knew the attacks wouldn't stop until Charmheart was gone. Redscar and Charmheart ventured far away into ThunderClan territory. The cats were found by a border patrol hiding in a thicket. They were attacked and Redscar was killed on the spot. They took Charmheart prisoner in the camp. She noticed there was another prisoner. A tom named Darkfoot was also exiled from a Clan. WindClan. After a few moons, the two became mates and became full warriors of ThunderClan. The rogues (which were actually cats from other Clans) attacked at popular landmarks along with the other Clans, but they were defeated and Charmheart lived happily in ThunderClan with her kit, Lilykit.

First, young'uns, there be a time when Hollyleaf was a little kit... Yes, very small... and so this is the tale of how she first came to the forum.
Y'see, young'uns, Holly didn't always live in the wc:ut forums... in fact, her little kit self started out in a humble proboards forum of another popular (at the time) warrior cats game, known simply as "THE warrior cats game".
Yes, little Hol was about 10 years old, and she stumbled upon that forum and stayed there for a while. And then she became friends with someone called 'Fairytailaddict'. You see, young'uns, Fairytailaddict was an addict of the anime Fairy Tail. Yes, and we called her Fairy. We became very close, and she was like my big warrior sister.
But soon little Hol noticed that Fairy was no longer coming to THE Warrior Cats proboards as much. We discussed in the forum chatbox over the issue, and she revealed she'd been coming to a forum called 'wc:ut', and probably wouldn't be on Hol's current forum anymore.
Then Fairy did indeed stop going on THE Warrior Cats forum altogether.
Hol decided that a forum without Fairy was not a forum worth being a member on.
And so, poor little Hol went on a quest to find the forum Fairy had mentioned. Her little kit mind struggled to remember the name of the forum, so she searched back in the chatbox and found Fairy had called it 'wc:ut'.
What a strange name, Hol thought to herself, but it must be worth it if Fairy is there.
Inwardly Hol hoped it was a warrior cats forum, and lo and behold, IT WAS.
Finally she found the forum that would become her permanent internet Clan, and the first thing Hol saw when she beheld it was a post on a roleplay by Fairy.
THATS HER!! Little Hol screamed, THATS HER!! I HAVE FOUND IT! I HAVE ARRIVED!
And so she announced her arrival to Fairy on that Roleplay, and the two rejoiced together, and thus, at the same moment, Holly joined her first roleplay: OwlClan.
If you search long and hard, far and wide, you can still find it.
Sadly, Fairy no longer stays in this Clan, but Hol has remained, and despite her old age, tells the story.
Here is the twist:
Little Hol joined at 11 years old in 2011. Poor little Hol. She told everyone she was 15, and somehow she remained 15 until 2013, the time where Hol left the forums.
Hol left because she felt she had made a mistake, and then retreated to the 'tunnels' for a while, until she returned to the forum to many who celebrated her return, and thus Hol called herself 'Hollyleaf' for this reason, because of the similarities between herself and the character. Now Hol is 17, and has been on the forums for... *counts fingers* .... 6 years. OH YES, THAT IS RIGHT. Hol joined the forums a couple months after it was created.
Now, Hol remembers in her early days how she wished to be friends with Falcon, and so randomly she would PM him as her little kit self,
"HI. HOW ARE YOU?"
Indeed, this was a strange endeavor, but the Clan Leader humored her and told how he was, then asked how Hol was doing.
Hol never replied.
To this day, young'uns, Old Hollyleaf cannot tell you what was going through her poor little mind.
Another time, in the Shoutbox, Falcon recommended Lord of the Rings to Hol to read. She said she would consider, but was not planning on reading the series. She decided to herself that if she were meant to read the books, eventually it would happen on its own.
And thus, a friend gave her the entire series in a special box and she has spent several months reading the books. By now she is nearly finished with the second book, 'The Two Towers'.
Now Hol is hopelessly obsessed with the series. Thanks a lot Falcon.
Hol remembers, young'uns, (and now this is a very special story) how a secret and unexpected friendship was become by the foretelling of Elrond...
Yes indeed, from an enemyship to a friendship, came the glorious Lotta Hype of the Hol and Kaz Show.
The very day this Katzchen joined the forums he created an art thread, establishing his future legacy.
Members would describe their real life appearances and Katzchen would create an OC based on those descriptions. Now young Hol, perhaps 14 by this time, felt that this process was an invasion of privacy (for whatever reason) and spoke her concerns. Kaz countered and it was super effective, telling Hol that if the forum members were comfortable it was perfectly fine.
After a little while Hol felt bad and so filled out a form of her own for the art thread, but by that time the thread was closed because doing art for many people is hard work.
Later on, Hol saw Kaz on the shoutbox and they began to exchange smart-aleck remarks and puns, trying to 1up each other several times, and Hol's new forum sister (the best of the best, Snowfeather, who sadly does not come to this forum very often anymore) joined in on the battle.
Thus an infamous enemiship was born.
From then on several comics and shoutbox roleplay shenanigans ensued, young'uns, and they lasted for a while. Then Hol and Kaz became frenemies somehow, and eventually frenemies turned to close friends. Now they are the cream of the crop, fasho brotskis, egg frens, bread bros. Their broship extends beyond all bounds. They watch animes together. Hol values this friendship with all her little leaf heart, and she would not have it if not for this Clan she discovered.
After a little while, Hollyleaf pointed out to Katzchen that his name was long and German, and so she decided it needed a nickname. There was many debate, between Katz and Kat, and it appeared that the latter was the popular vote, but Hol was determined. She had come up with a new name based on a nickname of one of the Doctor Who characters in real life that she wanted to use for herself very badly because she found it cool:
Kaz.
Now, everyone else wanted to use Kat, but Hol would not give up, and persisted calling her enemy Kaz, and eventually it caught on.
Soon, Kaz wanted to give everyone else three-letter-nicknames, and thus he concocted the nickname 'Hol', which Old Hol uses all the time since it fits and is catchy.
That is how these familiar nicknames were born.
Now, here is for an adventurous story, Young'uns. Back in the day, Falcon, the Big Bird Pokémon, Mysterious Type, created a paradoxical series of riddles hidden throughout the forum...
...these riddles were necessary to unlock a new board that had mysteriously appeared, enterable only by a password that only the person who unlocked the riddles would receive.
Eventually the riddles were figured out and several members gained the password.
I believe Falcon has removed that board now, sadly, but I would like to see it's return....
Now, young'uns, what was the purpose of this board, you ask?
Well, in all honestly, poor Hol does not remember... but she believes it was a board for the new WC:UT Newsletters that sadly did not last very long.
They were very fun, but after a little bit the project dropped, and finally they returned once after a couple years, but then stopped once more. Whether they make another return or not, the world will never know.
Here young'uns, this poor old elder must rest for a while, so for now this is the last story, though surely something shall return to her memory so that she may share.
Now, young'uns, this may be hard to believe, but there was a time when Hol deeply despised My Little Pony. Yes... yes indeed... she hated its very existence.
A new version of the series had just come out in 2013, perhaps shortly before your Old Hol's departure. Everyone was talking about it, making roleplays, memes, pictures, talking about the episodes... and because everyone liked it, Hol did not.
No, not at all.
She vowed to everyone that she would never like this new vile trend.
But then she thought, "ok, everyone's talking about it, they all seem to like it, so let's see what all the fuss is about..."
and she watched the first two episodes.
And a new love was born.
Yes, poor Hol now loved MLP, and perhaps became more obsessed with it than everyone else (Especially since by the time she got into it, the forum obsession had died down).
Many members joked that Falcon was a fan of the series, and then Hol, dying to know, asked if he did.
He said he wasn't too into it, and thus the rumours died.
But that is okay, for MLP isn't for everyone; it is not like Rated E games.
I have neglected to tell the story of my dearest and nearest friendest and bestest, rose, who has always had a special place in my heart...
and it's all because of this forum.
Yes yes, it all started when I created a creepypasta several years ago, maybe 3. Rose always asked me to make a second part, though I wanted to leave it as it is because it was supposed to leave you at a cliff hanger.
Eventually we became good friends as we continually met on join.mes and chatted and discussed the show I was most incredibly obsessed with at the time: Boy Meets World.
(Though in all honestly it was really just me ranting to her about how amazing Boy Meets World was. I can bet you she knows more about Boy Meets World than many even though she's never truly seen the show. You're welcome, my fren.)
Soon our friendship became best friendship, and like all closest friends, they see you at your best, and they see you at your worst.
Truly Rose became familiar with my worst, but we made it through and are still good friends now. I wish I could have been better to her in my darkest times, but the best I can do now is be the kindest I can in the moment.

I am going to be honest, when I had first joined this forum, I had not really intended to stay for long. I had just wanted to come for the pelt codes once it was shared on here and then just leave. What I had not intended to do was to get a little bored playing the game after a while, well I was still new to the game as I played only once, was to get attached to this place. So much has happened over the years, but I guess I can start for when I came to the forum.
It was June 21, 2011 when I had decided to join the forum. Falcon Development had created the website the previous day, June 20, 2011 and posted on the Weebly website that there were secret pelt codes for members. Being new to the game, as I had found it a few days prior to the forum being made, I wanted to take the chance to get those codes so I could have new pelts to play with in the game. Though I cannot remember what Version it was at the time, I could still remember that I was excited to learn about the pelts and eager to start playing with them right away.
As anyone would expect, I had made the account. Using the screen name, ✻Dawnleaf✻ , a name I had used on the Weebly chat, my account was created and I was ready. Right away I had decided to go straight to the Secret Pelts section of the forum to find a way to get the pelts. To my luck, it was quite simple that I had not even thought it would happen like that, but it did. So all I had to do was play a certain way to get the codes (er not sure if it is much of a secret anymore to others now), and there I was, though I had stayed logged in to the forum.
I had played the game for a while now, a few hours at most, and got a little bored after playing the game for so long. Don't get me wrong, I love the game, but sometimes I had tried to mix things up. After deciding to exit the game for a while, I decided to continue checking out the forum since I could think of nothing else to do.
There were not as many members on at the time, so I was unable to do little except post where I could and possibly make suggestions.
A few days had passed and I was still on the forum. I could see that people were starting to sign up for the game, possibly most for the secret pelts. A few members though, old friends of mine that I do not see on here, chose to stick around. Still being new to the forum, and being on a forum in the first place, I was quite nervous to talk to the other members.
All I was able to do was wait and see what happened. And what would you know, I had turned out to enjoy being on here as time went on.

I've made some warrior cat rps, off topic rps, I did make a funny spoof Christmas song about the forums and a funny story about the forums & the clan cats, I've also done a couple of stories both warrior & off topic. Though I think I've joined more rolpeplays then made myself lol

How I discovered the forum:
This part may seem completely irrelevant to this story, but without this event, I would not be here. I had just moved from the sandy shores along the coast of Alabama to one of the busiest cities of Tennessee, not too far away from Nashville. I was 12 years old, about to start 7th grade (this was in 2010).
I was not much of a reader, not until a friend I have known practically since birth (though we had been apart for the time I lived in Alabama) introduced me to this book series called Warrior Cats, which you might have guessed. I had never heard of the series before, but I was a cat lover and when I learned it was about cats, I decided to try it out. My mother went to the public library and checked out one of the books, not knowing that it much mattered if they were read in order. She ended up getting Long Shadows, which is the fifth book in the third arc, Power of Three. I also was unaware at first that the books are better when read in order. I started reading the book, and although I got at least a hundred pages in, I was quite confused about what was happening. I had no clue who the characters were, what the clans were, nothing. I understood that they were cats, but not much else. Then, my mother went to the bookstore and purchased Into the Wild and things were much better. I fell in love with the books, and I read them quite swiftly. Eventually, I got to the point where I could read one in an hour if I wanted to. There was even a time when I decided to see how many of the books I could read in a day. I woke up early one Saturday morning and started reading from Into the Wild. I read all day, only taking breaks for meals and things like that. I wound up getting all the way through the Power of Three series, from the starting point, in about 18 hours. I was so incredibly in love with the series that I could pinpoint which book and page number certain events occurred on.
This was all before I discovered there was a video game. Mind you, for a while there was no Untold Tales game, not until February 12th, 2011. That was when the first version was released to the public. Some people know this story, but on Valentine's Day that same year, I caught a severe case of the flu. I got sick enough to where I was very close to having to go to the emergency room. It did not become this severe until about five days after it started, and I had already been running high fevers and I was very weak from not eating anything at all, nor was I drinking very much. On the night I almost had to visit the emergency room, my temperature spiked to 106 degrees Fahrenheit, and I was unable to keep anything down, even medicine. My parents had to keep rubbing my face with cold, wet wash cloths, and they kept putting ice on me and giving it to me to suck on. They did this in order to lower my fever. When I was taken to the doctor the next morning, my temperature was still above 103. I was also wheezy and very short of breath. The doctors made me sit there with this oxygen machine running, and I had to hold an oxygen mask up to my face and breathe from it for around twenty minutes. Seeming very worried, they told my parents to take me to the hospital if anything worsened. It took me the rest of February to recover enough to return to school. Even after I returned to school, I had piles and piles of homework to catch up on from missing so many days in a row. That kept me from being able to take the time and even think to look for Warrior Cats video games.
Fast forward with me another three months or so. School was over, so I had more time on my hands to do activities other than homework. I was on my Windows XP computer and decided to see if any Warrior Cats computer games existed, outside of the ones that were on the official Warrior Cats website. I went to Google and searched "Warrior Cats video games download." Immediately, my page loaded a bunch of links to different places, but the first one to show happened to be the Weebly website for Warrior Cats Untold Tales, version 12 at the time, I believe. I went to the download website and downloaded the game. Just as I did with the book series, I instantly fell in love. It was the best game in the world, as I thought back then. A little more time passed before I discovered there was a version 13. I played that for a while, often arguing with my twin sister about whose turn it was to play it because we were both that obsessed with the game.
Then, one day, on October 28th, 2011. I was opening the game to begin playing. Instead of clicking the Load Game button on the start screen, I accidentally clicked the Official Forums button. Right away, my computer loaded the homepage of the forum. I was not sure of what it was because I had somehow not clicked that button before then. I scrolled down to see, and the board that caught my attention was the one that included the secret pelts. Like most everyone, I wanted the codes to unlock the pelts. I clicked the board, but when I did so, I was taken to an error page that informed me that I had to be signed in to access the posts there.
Therefore, I registered my account with no intentions of staying. I had planned to retrieve the codes and not return. However, I eventually decided to stick around for a while. I soon started talking to other members and discovered how friendly everybody was. I was instantly hooked then and there, and I have never thought anything different about the site. I was 14 then, 19 now, and I am still here. I have never been so attached to a website in my entire life. I love posting here, but what I love the most is what made me decide to stick around. Over the years, I have developed so many friendships that I cannot imagine life without. So many memories have been made here, memories that I will cherish forever.
There have been times when I've gotten into a bit of trouble:
The first time I got in trouble was January 2012. I was still considered a newbie back then, even though I guess back then four months might not have been considered new new, since the forum was created June 20th, 2011. Not enough time had passed since the creation date. Anyway, at that time the reputation system was known as karma. The concept was the exact same, it was just called something different. I was still new to this concept, however. I understood that exalt increased it and smite decreased it, but not much other than that. I wanted some karma points, so I started a thread called "Karma for Karma." This was a thread where the object was to exalt another user for some karma in return. It was supposed to work in a similar manner to spamming posts, only karma in this case. The whole thing was a no-go. Three moderators and Falcon Development got onto me about it. I was not in trouble, but as a result, rule number 9 was added to the board. From then on, karma, now reputation, was meant to be earned. So, I am the person responsible for getting that rule put up. You're welcome.
The Karma for Karma thread can be found here.
The second time I got into a bit of trouble happened June 30th that same year (2012). I received a private message from Falcon (which is still in my inbox) saying "You have 4 active accounts on the forums currently. Please explain." I was aware of three existing accounts, but not four. One account, which would be this one, belonged to me. The other two belonged to Birchstar, my sister. The fourth one could have possibly been another account that had been made in which I had forgotten the password and username for. I informed Falcon with that information, and he took it from there with Birch. However, on October 1st, 2012, my 15th birthday, some more accounts showed up on the birthday list (which used to have its own section where the Forum Information&Statistics are) that happened to be mine. I was not sure that they belonged to me until I found links to my YouTube channel on their profiles. I was able to guess the password to one of them and I removed it, but not the other. I was surprised that I did not get locked out because of how many unsuccessful attempts I made to get into it. I gave Falcon its username and asked him to delete it for me. Still to this day, I have no idea why I had so many accounts made.
The backstory about the All Nighter Thread, the longest thread that is still active, which has 4369 pages and counting:
It was summer vacation of 2012, and Birchstar and I decided to try and stay up to see the sunrise. We googled to see what time the sun was to rise and we planned from there. We discovered that the sun would rise at about 5:30. After learning this information, we planned to watch one of our favorite movie trilogies, which is Back to the Future. We own the whole trilogy, so we decided it was perfect to get us through the whole night. We started pretty late, at around or maybe past midnight. We made it through all of the movies without much problem. We hardly got tired, and by the time the concluding part (Back to the Future Part 3) was over, it was getting brighter outside. We were excited that we had successfully pulled the all nighter, and I decided to make a thread about it on here. The thread was created June 30th, 2012. I announced to the forum almost everything I just explained here. For a little while the thread was mostly on all nighters, occasionally getting off topic. Other people even started pulling all nighters. At one point, I believe I had done four successful all nighters back to back. I attempted to do a fifth, but failed because I decided to close my eyes for five minutes. Five minutes turned into five hours. The thread might not be about all nighters anymore, but it is more like a giant chat thread. In a way, it makes sense because if you use the thread during all nighters, it would get incredibly boring to constantly say stuff about all nighters for the whole night. Conversations make it easier and more fun. This brings back another memory of when we had a couple All Nighter events for New Year's Eve. These events were where a bunch of people would get together on New Year's Eve and attempt to stay up the whole night. No one really made it the whole night, but it was fun spending so much time with a lot of people like that. At least most of us made it to midnight, or the new year in this case. As you can see, that thread itself has a lot of forum history. If you want some memories of even a certain person who was here before, read through the All Nighter thread. A lot of people have had to post there to give it 4,360+ pages and 65,394+ replies.
The backstory to how I got my crazy post count of close to 170,000 posts:
Although I joined the forum October 28th, 2011, I did not begin actively posting every single day like I do now until 8-9 months later. I was not a StarClan Member yet, but a Wise Elder (2500+ posts). It was either late June or early July and I was getting ready to go on a family vacation before school started. I was unsure of how active I was going to be during that time, so I set a goal to try to reach the StarClan Member rank before I left. That was my first ever official post goal. I posted hundreds of times a day, hours on end. I chatted with people in the All Nighter thread and things like that.
After I made that goal, I kept setting more goals. I set another goal to have the highest of the 15 ranks at the time (StarClan Elder - 10,000 posts) by Christmas of that year. It was July, so I had around five months to reach the goal. Fast forward again, I made it with over two weeks to spare. By that time, I had already considered to attempt something that seemed impossible. I wanted to get ahead of the former top poster, ✻Dawnleaf✻. After I reached my StarClan Elder goal, the "impossible" challenge was set in stone. I wanted to get there by my 16th birthday (October 1st, 2013).
Dawn was around 30,000 posts ahead of me, so I had to set to work then and there. I posted for hours on end again, joining over 15 roleplays at a time, posting in game threads, All Nighter, answering questions, etc. I was posting almost everywhere I could. I pulled so many all nighters in order to make this happen. I kept track of my progress and calculated how many posts I needed to make per day to accomplish it. I was in seventh place on the top poster's list in the beginning, but by the time New Years rolled around, I had already moved up at least three, maybe four ranks. I was posting 300-500 times a day, and well over 1000 times a week. Back then, I made threads just about every time I made another 1000 posts, and there were a lot of those threads made sometimes in as little as 3 days apart from each other.
In late February 2013, I was in second place, right behind Dawnleaf. Still, I was at least 10,000 posts behind her. I kept going with what I had been doing, continuing to post everywhere. June came, and I was getting ready to go to Florida for a family vacation. I knew that even if I came online and posted once I got there, I would lose a lot of time and run behind, since I would be on less to spend time with family. I had 39,000 posts a couple days before I was supposed to hit the road. I decided to attempt to post 1,000 times in a day to get to 40,000 posts before I left.
That night, Birch and I stayed up until three or four in the morning, and we posted back and forth non-stop on an old A-Z game thread. Together, we knocked out 300 posts. That took a good chunk out of the 1,000-post goal, but I still had 700 to go, which is still a lot for a day's time. I woke up early and immediately got right back to it. I dedicated that entire day to posting. The forum had more people active then, so that helped, since I had more people helping me post throughout the day. I only took breaks to get food and that stuff, and even then I either brought the food to the computer with me or I brought a device I could post with. Despite my efforts, I was 25 posts short of my goal. I made 975 posts in 24 hours. Still pretty impressive, if I can say for myself.
August 31st, 2013, one month before my birthday/deadline, I passed Dawnleaf. In eight short months, I had done it. My post count was officially larger than hers, and I had officially taken my spot in first place on the top poster's list. I probably had about 60,000 posts by this time. While my goal had been accomplished, I knew it would not be accomplished for long if I paused. I had to keep going. I spent the next half year or so running in order to keep my lead.
In May 2014, Falcon added the current highest rank possible, which is Beyond Ancient Ancestor of 100,000 posts. I was at around 75,000 by then. I planned to achieve the rank by my 17th birthday, October 1st, 2014. I had about five months to get the remaining 25,000 (more or less) posts. I made good efforts, but reached the rank nine days after my deadline, meeting it on October 10th, 2014. That was the day I made it to the grand 100,000 posts.
Now in my story, I am up to 100,000 posts and still have around 70,000 posts to explain. Since I made it there, I have slowed down some, due to certain life changes like finishing high school and starting college, but I still make an attempt to post every day. I still post in roleplays, though definitely not in 15 at a time. If I have nothing going on, and if the forum is active enough, I can still manage to get 100 or more in a day. Even though I may not talk about it, I have a goal that I am working towards, as I always have since the beginning. Having the goals keeps me actively posting every day. It gives me a reason to keep going. Not to mention the fact that now I want to see how far I can get.
Currently, there is a person on the support Proboards site with at least 201,000 posts and that is my current long term goal. In a way, I have already posted way more than he has because he started in 2001, 16 years ago, before I was even 4 years old. I started in 2011, and I have gotten this far in 5 and a half years. I have no deadline for it, but it is something I want to try to accomplish. No specific reason for it. It just gives me something to work toward.
So, there you have it. This is how I have gotten as far as I have on posts. It is a ridiculous amount, I will even admit,
but I like my crazy post count. Lol.
My best friend on here is ✻Dawnleaf✻ . We have had a PM going for over 4 years straight, and it has nearly 3300 pages:
It was October 2012 when I had an apprentice name game going. This was a game where I posted pictures of a cat and gave it an apprentice's name. The game players had to submit what they thought would be a good warrior name for the cat. I chose my favorite, and the round's winner got to choose the next apprentice's name. For one round, I chose Dawnleaf as the winner. I sent her a private message to inform her that she had won the round, and so she could privately submit her chosen name for the next round. Who knew that picking her as the winner for my little game would turn into something as beautiful as our friendship is now?
Every day since then, October 17th, 2012, we have been chatting through private messages. It was a little awkward at first, but we soon warmed up to each other. Once we warmed up to each other, we started growing really really close. We discovered that we had a lot in common and we got along extremely well. We both have a lot of the same interests and hobbies, and she even has a cat whose name is my name in real life. I thought that was awesome right when I found out, and I immediately told her that my name was her cat's name.
A lot has happened and changed since we first started talking. Back then, we were both only 15 and in high school. While we are only two and a half months apart in age, Dawn is a year ahead of me in school, but for a while neither one of us knew that. We thought we were in the same grade until one day I said I was a freshman in high school and not a sophomore.
Even still, we are the best of friends. We talk to each other about everything. We always care for each other, and not a day goes by without asking "How are you?" We have gotten each other through hardships. In a way, I believe that those times have strengthened our friendship because they showed us how much we cared. We might not have been able to help each other much, but we showed support.
Dawnleaf and I are determined to meet each other in real life some day. We have been determined for what seems like forever now, and we have still not given up on that. We text each other and Skype each other frequently. She is more like a sister to me than a friend. That's just how close we are.
I might have met her on the forum, but because I have been talking to her every day for almost five years, it is almost like we know each other in person. By now I have gotten to know her as a person, and that has been such a privilege. Not all online friendships turn out as this one has. I am lucky to be able to call her my friend. I am not sure what I would do without her.
A story about the multiplayer version of WC:UT:
Only the older members on the forum will remember there being a multiplayer version. If you are newer and were not sure if there was a multiplayer, then there definitely was. There was a multiplayer version of Warrior Cats Untold Tales. Multiplayer was fun, though it did not have everything that there is to do in single player mode. In the multiplayer, you could interact with other users on the server, and you could spar with them if you wanted to. Hunting was not a feature in multiplayer, if I remember correctly.
Despite this, I remember having a lot of fun with it. Playing hide and seek was always a fun time. There were a lot of areas to hide in, a lot of tiles, so users would meet together in a certain spot and all but one would go off in hide. In one round, I went to a different tile than the user who was "it", but it was an open area. You would think that that was a terrible spot to hide in, but I hid behind the buttons in the top corner. It took forever for them to find me because every part of my character was completely hidden.
My main point in writing this story, though, is to share my experience about being on the server with Falconstar. It was late January 2013 and the multiplayer had been online for up to four days in a row. It was pretty awesome. I was on the server inside this Twoleg house, talking with other people online. One character was Shadowstar. We were talking about Falcon, and then I said that I had never met Falcon in the server before. Suddenly, right after I said that, Shadowstar signed off. Before I knew it, a message saying "NOW YOU HAVE" showed up in the chatbox. Falcon was disguised as Shadowstar. I got excited, and of course I got a screenshot, which I think got deleted on accident, unfortunately.
This is the last time that I can recall the server being up. Fantastic memories were made involving it, though. I actually still have it downloaded to my laptop. It might not go online again, but I am not planning on deleting it any time soon. Sometimes I will even accidentally open it. Haha.

First is how I found the game/forum.
So, it was about two years ago when I got my grandma's old ThinkPad computer for Christmas and imminently did a whole bunch of stuff on AnimalJam for like five days. Then I actually looked at other stuff on the computer and seen my mom had downloaded a Warriors game for me(Because Warriors was and is my life) called, you guessed it, Warriors Cats: Untold Tales. Having nothing else to really do, I started the tutorial with Cougarkit, a golden cat with blue eyes. I pretty much fell in love with the game from there and eventually checked out the other things on it, hence finding the WC:UT forum. I was a guest for a little while(I caused some havoc cause I was a young bean back then >>) until I made an account and called it Discord. I've been on the forum ever since
Second, how I met my two closest friends on the forum, ❄🐾Luna🐾❄ and Awkward Potato (Awkward Potato and I don't talk much anymore, but I still consider her a close friend on my list ^^)
A year before I found the forum my rl friend had gotten me involved with FNaF(Even though she dropped it, like, a year later -3-) and it was one of my main fandoms. So not long after I joined the forum and did some rping I decided to make a FNaF fan rp, Five Nights at Fangs'. I honestly didn't think anything would happen to it so I went to do other things but went back and seen a could people had posted forms, one of them being Hybrid, or Luna at the time. At first I was all like, "Oh, okay, whatevs" but after a few days I had pretty much made a whole series for FNaFangs, and Luna had made Five Nights at Kitten's. Not long after that Leaf(my forever standing nickname for Awkward Potato, whom I have taggethed at least three times in one post today) joined FNaFangs and the three of us, being the most active rpers between the threads, talked and got into it. Ever since then I've considered the two my two closest friends on here.

How I joined is unknown.
I was searching for games to download, then I came across the forum. I was really confused at first. I went on to download the game and played it. It was amazing to me. Then I decided to join the forum.
At first, I signed myself as my warrior cat name, but feels like that makes me another cat. So I put up a display name. Then I went on, becoming one of the active roleplayers and I stall the forum games section a lot. It was great to me. Even tho I feel like no ones really considered me to be friends, I'm still pretty happy.
Also i'm I allowed to get on my old account again once i'm old enough? And are guests that are old members allowed to join?

I can't remember how I found this game but when I did I was so excited at the prospect of my favourite book series as a game. But then I couldn't even play it cos I had a mac and at the time there was no mac version of the game so that was a bummer lol. Then one of my aunties gave me this awful netbook that was soooo slow, but I was really excited and my sister had no idea why (she was well confused as to why I'd suddenly started using this tiny netbook more than a pretty good mac laptop). Of course the reason why I was using it so much was because of WCUT, my new fav game at the time lol. I remember the first time I played the game going through the tutorial and being all like 'oooh, this seems pretty easy', but then pretty much as soon as I leave the camp I end up getting ran over, and so became the death of my first cat (R.I.P. Shadowfang XD).
Before this I'd never used forums cos I never really got them and didn't understand the 'hype'. But when I started using the WCUT forum I instantly loved it. Admittedly I stopped using it after a while cos I have a horrendously short attention span lol. But i soon came back and started chatting to mah fellow WC fans again, and am so glad I came back!

I originally joined this fourm board the day after it was created. The reason for this is because my own birthday is on June 20th too, haha. Prior to that, I had been ghosting on the official warrior cats fourm board, where I had been playing the game since V7, I think? I had never spoken on that board though. So, vaguely upset that I didn't get to join on the day it was created (because I thought that would've been so cool!), I became a Rebel and created a proboard account despite not being 13. Since this is the 6th anniversary, and I'm turning 17 this year, I must have been 11 at the time. I'm not totally sure what I did at the time, but I do know that I had an Absolute Blast. I made online friends for the first time, I interacted with a community for the first time, and I had an amazing time. Then, one day, it was brought to everyone's attention that people under 13 were not allowed to have proboard accounts. Instead of just abandoning my old account (or letting it get banned) and then becoming a guest user, I actually deleted my illegal account. I'm not gonna lie, I still almost regret doing that, haha. However, that didn't make me leave the fourm. Eventually, at 12 am on my 13th birthday, I made the account that I'm currently using. Honestly, that was probably a better birthday present to younger me than what I actually got that year! From then on, I tried my best to be active on my brand new account, now that it was legal, and I kept going for the next couple of years. I made more friends, I participated in roleplays, and I played minigames with everyone. I'm not sure exactly when I stopped being on this fourm, but I definitely still think about it from time to time.
I'm sorry if that was unclear, I'm trying to piece together bits of memories from over 6 years and I'm not very good at explaining things.
So, I just want to thank everyone for all of the memories that this fourm board has given me. I'm sorry to say that I sort of fell out of Warrior Cats, but I can still say that this website will always be a part of me.
Thank you.

From my cringey old self obsessed with graystripe for some reason to a budding artist, to what would lead me to be getting serious about it, I've had so many experiences here.
I met some great people here, and I wish I could regain contact with some long gone members.
I remember the old chat box on the main site, and meeting Riverpool who introduced me to the forums, and inspired me to draw and create! I also remember rping with them and so many others, we had a whole trend going on where we had our own rp homes all connected somehow! And then I opened what I can still say was and is my favorite rp, the kitty-cat hotel!
Not to mention all the silly stories I've written, and even tried a bit recently, to create, some cringey by accident, and some on purpose... I think? I THINK that's what I was going for.
These forums helped me come out of my shell and also be less introverted, it gave me a place to go to after school, the talk to hang out.
Its weird thinking about how I've been a member since nearly the beginning, and how large this community has grown. I'm not sure if any of us expected it, but I warms my heart to see this forum still kicking it strong.
And I'm so happy to see your progress on your own games.I'm hyped to see CatTails finished product, which already looks amazing, and your possible future projects!
This community has brought forth and created so many bright minds and skillful artist and creators. And I look forward to what happens in the future.

HI! Hello. Hey, peoplez! This happened back in January. So, my dad was outside doing something. He went back inside and was laughing so hard that he cried. When me and my mom inquired about it, he said that some dude on drugs was outside knocking on the neighbors doors and asking if they ordered a large pizza with pepperoni. That's not all. He was butt-naked. I seriously almost died laughing. No joke, butt-naked, on drugs. That was the funniest night EVER.

I don't have many stories about the forums, but I have one short one that I remember (also wow this is the last day or something I'm late!) So, once I was doing a roleplay, and I used another character's name - I really thought it was mine - and then left the forums for like, four days. Then I got some confused responses saying. 'Hey, isn't that my/their character?' and I was like '... Um, possibly. Wait no yes it is sorry!' and then it was okay again. :3
A Walk Through History
This is the forum's sixth anniversary, and since I have been here almost every day since October 28th, 2011 (a little over four months after the creation date), I thought it would be nice to take you on a walk through forum history. During this walk, we will travel through all the years that this forum has existed, and we will cover several events. Let's get moving. It's a long journey. I will be your guide.
How It Started
It doesn't matter what it is. Everything has a backstory. Every video game, every piece of art, every website, everything has to start somewhere. As it is the forum's anniversary, you may be wondering 'What made Falcon Development decide to create this website?'. Look no further. In June of last year, I had the opportunity to ask Falcon himself on the Staff Q&A Thread.
In response, Falcon wrote:
Good question ✞~Spottedleaf ~✞ .
For a few months, WC:UT's home on the Web was actually just a thread on the official Warrior Cats forums, and that worked fine for a while (and definitely helped spread the word about the game!) However, eventually we found their rules a little too restrictive; for example, links to any external site were not allowed, so it was impossible to provide a download link to the game. We opted instead to provide instructions for what to Google to find it, but even that got us in a bit of trouble. After the initial thread was deleted (for reasons unknown, likely due to a 3rd party's argument that randomly broke out about 60 pages in) we remade the thread but decided it was time to start seriously considering alternatives. And thus the forum was born.
The Design
Now that the forum was created, the time came to design it. The time had come to get rid of the very boring default theme of ProBoards, which looked like this (This image is not of this forum. I found it by doing a quick Google search):
Thanks to Pigeon (formerly known as DeathRose), the skin went from that to this (this screenshot is mine. I got it thanks to Wayback Machine, a website that allows you to search any website on the internet, and it brings up old information about the site, and it'll show you how it looked at an earlier date. The Helpers
To have a successful and secure website, moderators are essential, or Falconstar's Helpers in our terms. We currently have 12 Falconstar's Helpers, though there used to be 14. Different methods were used to appoint the 12. The first moderators were chosen by Falcon himself, two of them being Pigeon and Loveleaf (who deleted her account). Then, the forum grew a little more, and the members of the website got to elect people through a voting system. Finally, the choosing process moved to the modern one that required the candidates to fill out an application and send it to Falcon via PM.
In the Staff Q&A thread, Falcon Development stated:
Hey Fruity ! It certainly was an odd experience; I've never been staff on a sizable website before (and by that I mean any website with more than 3 members, haha!) I learned a lot of lessons along the way and the staff selection process has changed quite a bit over the years. In the very, very beginning, staff were selected solely by me, but as the forum grew I wanted others to have a say as well. We then moved into an "election" sort of selection process, which worked fine for a little while, but I was afraid it might eventually become a popularity contest or something of that sort. Finally, we moved on to nomination-based selection, where members could nominate themselves or other members, and the staff would all get together behind-the-scenes to sort out who we wanted as our new Falconstar's Helpers. I'm happy with where we are at today, and who knows? There may be reason to select more moderators in the intermediate-future. I hope this answers your question!

Trolls
Over the six years, countless good memories have been made. The good times here far outweigh the bad. Despite this, that doesn't mean the bad ones should be overlooked. There has to be bad in order to appreciate the good. While these people are not the only two people to troll our forum, they are more notable. Some may be familiar with them already. Their names are Leafpool and Cindernight.
Long story short, Leafpool faked having a serious illness, later came on as her 'sister' and said that the illness killed her. A while later, she returned and said it was all a lie.
Read more about Leafpool here.
Cindernight continuously posted artwork and claimed they were hers, even though they clearly weren't. She was told plenty of times to stop, but she didn't, even after saying she would. Eventually, she was banned.
Admitting Days
Early on in forum history (2011-2012ish), rule #10 was added to the board. This is the rule that states "In compliance with ProBoards' rules, you must be age 13 or older to hold an account here. If you are under the age of 13, I ask that you please do not make an account." Several people were under that limit and had to leave their accounts. Some still lurked around and posted as guests, while others just went away.
Later on, in March 2012, a bunch of people created threads and admitted that they were underaged and they became guests. This was the first admitting day. Another confession day took place in September that same year. Basically people who didn't confess on the first admitting day confessed that they were under 13 years of age.

Announcing Version 15
Warrior Cats Untold Tales version 15 was announced to the forum members in mid-2012. Falcon posted a thread with tricky riddles that had to be solved. Some riddles included anagrams, while others involved searching through the Warrior Cats book Fire and Ice. These riddles are what lead up to the announcement of version 15. Version 15 was released on August 15th, 2012.

WC:UT Video Contest
Shortly after version 15 was announced, Falcon posted a Video Contest thread. It was a way for the members to get involved and help spread the word about the game. A lot of advertisement videos were made, and a lot of work was put into all of them. There were prizes for winners up to third place. It was fun to participate in and to see what people could come up with for their submissions. In a way, I was the person who gave him the idea for the contest because I asked him in a PM if I could make a WC:UT-related video only a couple hours before the thread was made. I actually won third place and received a package of exclusive sneak-peak screenshots of version 15 as a prize!

WC:UT Multiplayer
If you have read everything up to this point, then you have read a story of mine about the multiplayer. As I said, there used to be a multiplayer version of WC:UT. So many memories were created on the server. People roleplayed together, people played hide and seek together, and people just hung out with each other. It was a fun time. The last time it was online was late January 2013.
I was able to find a couple threads with some screenshots of the multiplayer before it got discontinued:

The 2013 Forum Plague
When you reach this point, you're probably wondering what the forum plague was. Well, it's pretty much what it sounds like. It was a time when a sickness with cold or flu-like symptoms spread around the forum. It took place early in the year 2013, and it lasted roughly from late January through some of February. People were posting "I'm sick" threads left and right, and not much time had passed before someone else posted one. On some threads, people posted something like "OH NO! IT'S SPREADING THROUGH THE FORUM!!!" Honestly, the fact that I caught the plague myself is likely the only reason I'm able to tell you about this event. As I already mentioned, the symptoms were cold/flu-like symptoms, but to give you an idea I had the general symptoms of the common cold, and I also had a fever that almost reached 103. It took me about a week to start feeling better.

Switching Layouts
Up until this point in time on this forum, the layout had a different look to it. This was because the forum was using an earlier version of ProBoards. We were using version 4. Then, on April 29th, 2013, we switched over to version 5. From then on, the overall layout (though not color scheme) changed to what it looks like today. The profiles got an upgraded look, the private messaging system changed, the shoutbox was added, etc. I know the exact date our forum changed over because my conversation with Dawnleaf began on that exact day.
Before the layout, the profile pages looked like this (credit goes to Silverheart for the screenshot):
Again, you can look here to see what the layout looked like before the switch!

Click here to view a feature list of version 5 of ProBoards (though please note that there are some features we may not be using, like the liking posts system for example)
Although we did not upgrade until April 2013, the upgrade was first mentioned on this thread in January 2013. On the day we switched, all the ProBoards sites that had not already switched got converted over to the new layout.
There's actually been talk about a version 6 of ProBoards on the support website!
New Ranks
Before late May 2013, there were only 15 ranks, and they were the following:
Newborn Kit- 0 posts
Kit- 5 posts
Apprentice- 15 posts
Experienced Apprentice- 30 posts
New Warrior- 60 posts
Warrior- 120 posts
Experienced Warrior- 200 posts
Seasoned Warrior- 350 posts
Deputy- 600 posts
Clan Leader- 1000 posts
Elder- 1500 posts
Wise Elder- 2500 posts
StarClan Member- 4000 posts
StarClan Warrior- 7000 posts
StarClan Elder- 10,000 posts
But then, I reached 36,000 posts. When that happened, I made up something where I'd lost all nine lives since becoming a StarClan Member (so I lost a life at 4000, a second life at 8000, a third life at 12,000, and so on. For every 4000 posts I said I lost a life. If we're still going by that, then that means I've lost 42 lives and counting!). When I lost the ninth life, I stated that I was Beyond StarClan. Basically, that became a reality. Falcon added two new ranks to the board: Beyond StarClan of 25,000 posts and Ancient Ancestor of 50,000 posts.
From then, the rank list grew to this:
Newborn Kit- 0 posts
Kit- 5 posts
Apprentice- 15 posts

Warrior- 120 posts
Experienced Warrior- 200 posts

The Untold Story
The Untold Story was a fanfiction that I began writing in mid-2013. I based the characters off of people's OCs from the forum. The plot was based around a house cat named Falcon (who was meant to represent Falconstar off here), and he had to leave his former life and start or rebuild a new clan. This clan was meant to represent the forum and its community. I had 11 chapters written before I stopped writing. I wrote it with my friend Lily~Myth . It was a lot of fun to write. I believe I only stopped because of school, and I just never got back to it. I guess the rest of the story will, at least for now, remain untold .

WC:UT Hacking
If you came to this section thinking something along the lines of "WC:UT got hacked??!" then rest assured. There was no actual hacker. This story is actually a fun one. I'll just tell it from my point of view. I remember it like it was yesterday.
One day in early August 2013, I had just come home from an abbreviated day at school (it was two hours long), which happened to be my first day of 10th grade. I wasn't feeling too well when I got home. I wasn't sick, I was just sore and weak from getting braces a few days before then, and from not eating hardly anything since the day I got the braces. On top of that, I had to stay at school for what seemed like an extra hour because I accidentally missed the bus and had to wait outside in the 90-degree heat until someone came to pick me up.
Despite everything, I got onto the forum after getting home. I saw Falcon on the shoutbox and I started talking to him. I told him how I was feeling and how the school day went. Then, he asked me if I would watch a livestream if he put it up. I said I would watch it, and he set it up. This is when it started happening.
During the livestream, Falcon played WC:UT version 15. As he played it, he began hacking it. The hacking was really fun to watch. He turned himself into various items such as a tree and a car. He made it rain blood, cats, claws, and even trees. He also turned all the cats in the RiverClan camp into StarClan cats, so it was as if RiverClan became StarClan. In addition to all this, he turned the ShadowClan guards and Rotstar into Twolegs. At the end of it, Nightbolt posted screenshots and pretended it was all a really big glitch. Some people fell for it, while others thought they were edited. Everybody who was part of the livestream played along. It was all a really fun time.
Thread time!

A New Top Poster
If you have read my stories from the Forum Stories section of this post, then you read my story of how I've come this far along in posts.
Becoming the top poster became a goal of mine in December 2012. It seemed impossible at first, since ✻Dawnleaf✻ (former top poster) was at least 30,000 posts ahead of me. Even with that huge gap, I took the challenge. I made the decision to try to achieve it by my 16th birthday (which was October 1st, 2013). I posted, posted, and posted almost nonstop it seemed like. I put a post everywhere possible almost. I was so determined. I was posting 300-500 posts per day, and I even posted 975 posts in 24 hours (as explained in my story).
On August 31st, 2013, I passed Dawnleaf. My post count was officially higher than hers. I had officially claimed my spot as the person with the most posts on the forum. It's been that way ever since (and now I'm even 100,000+ posts ahead).
Maybe I shouldn't have put this here twice, but I did because this is definitely part of forum history.
This is the thread that was posted to announce that I had passed Dawnleaf.
A Hidden Board?
Yes, there is indeed a hidden board. It is hidden to all members who are below a certain posting rank, unless the member is a Falconstar's Helper, or Falconstar himself, of course. This wasn't always there. It was added on October 18th, 2013. If you can see this board, you know what I'm talking about. If not, then wait and see for yourself. I cannot provide a link, simply because if you can't see it, then you won't be able to access the link. It's classified information.
FalconClan
FalconClan was a Warrior Cats roleplay that was created by me. First, I asked Falconstar if I could use Falconstar the character with the exact description. In response to my PM, he replied:

That'd be fine, as long as you make it obvious that I myself am not personally affiliated with the clan. The first roleplay thread lasted almost an entire year, with the thread being made on April 27th, 2013, and with the last post being made on January 7th, 2014. It had a total of 742 pages. Even after this one ceased, the roleplay was remade quite a few times. If you add the number of pages that were in all the threads, then that roleplay was 1020 pages long!

New Features!
On May 3rd, 2014, Falcon Development added some new features to the forum. First, a new rank was added to the board: Beyond Ancient Ancestor of 100,000 posts (my rank). This new addition caused the posting rank list to expand from what it was before (after the original 15):
Newborn Kit- 0 posts
Kit- 5 posts

Experienced Apprentice- 30 posts

StarClan Warrior- 7000 posts
StarClan Elder- 10,000 posts
Beyond StarClan- 25,000 posts

to this:

StarClan Elder- 10,000 posts
Beyond StarClan- 25,000 posts
Ancient Ancestor- 50,000 posts
Beyond Ancient Ancestor- 100,000 posts
This is the current, up-to-date posting rank list. So, in all of forum history, we had 15 ranks at first, then we had 17, and now we have 18.
A second feature that was added to the forum at this time was the post rank meter. This is the bar that is displayed on all the mini profiles when you go to post on a thread. It tells you what rank you are and how many posts you need to reach the next rank. If you hover your mouse over it, it will tell you your progress percentage, what the next rank is, and how many posts are required to achieve it. (So, if you hovered over mine, it will say Highest Posting Rank Achieved: Beyond Ancient Ancestor (100,000 posts). Mine doesn't show a percentage because there's not another rank).
After the rank meter, a new pop up message was added. This message will pop up each time you reach a new posting rank. It'll congratulate you and welcome you to the new rank.
Finally, a bumper stopper. This is a message that will display on the page of a thread that has not been posted on in three months. It will warn you that the thread is pretty old, but it won't prevent you from replying to it. If you arrive to a thread that is more than six months old, replies will be disabled.
Here's a link to the thread, even though it pretty much says exactly what I just wrote:

Falcon's In A Relationship?
This section is about Falcon and Violetrose (BekaRuth) and when the forum first found out that they were in a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. It was announced in June 2014 in a thread that had an artwork of FalconstarxSpottedleaf (an old shipping, which I will cover later on). Falcon saw the thread and posted:
I count Spottedleaf among my friends (online anyways, we don't know each other in real life), but she doesn't occupy the role depicted by the fan art here... There's actually someone else that does. Sorry to break it to you but your theory is inaccurate.
They're technically on the forum (they made an account a while back but didn't post much), and it's more than just I like them... (we're actually in a relationship, haha! )
Here's the post:
I've just received permission to say this.
Violetrose (BekaRuth) is the person in a relationship with Falcon Development .
Falconstar X Spottedleaf!
The Ancient One
No, no. This is nothing to do with Doctor Strange's The Ancient One. That's not where this section gets its name, haha. This is forum related, as it should be, since this is the thread for the forum's sixth anniversary, after all.
After Falconstar added the Beyond Ancient Ancestor rank, I set a goal to reach it by my 17th birthday, which was October 1st, 2014. I was still at least 25,000 posts away, but I figured that if I could get from StarClan Warrior (7000 posts) to Ancient Ancestor (50,000 posts) in half a year (I reached StarClan Warrior in October 2012, and I reached Ancient Ancestor in August 2013. So, I made 43,000 posts in that time frame), then I could get 25,000ish posts between May and October no problem. I was very determined to get there, and I was also quite curious to see what would happen to my post rank meter once I got there, since there is no higher rank than mine. This only added to my determination.
Well, despite those thoughts and all my determination, I met my goal nine days after the original deadline. On October 10th, 2014, I reached Beyond Ancient Ancestor. I had become the first person on the forum to ever reach 100,000 posts (though, for the record, from the time the rank was added, it was either going to be me or Dawnleaf, since we were the only ones who even had the rank directly below Beyond Ancient Ancestor).

Legacy
Earlier on in this "walk", I mentioned something about a Legacy theme. The Legacy theme did not always exist. Before then, the current default skin was what Legacy theme is meant to resemble. That changed when one day, in early 2015, Falcon accidentally hit a button he shouldn't have. When he hit that button, something happened to the original theme, and that caused it to have to be redesigned.
When I saw this, I thought I remembered having the background saved to my laptop at least at some point. I went through all the files and tried to find it, and I even tried to use a recovery program. This program was supposed to scan my computer and recover deleted files. This was quite a long process. I ended up leaving the program running overnight and while I was at school the next day. Even after all this effort, the recovery program wasn't much help.
However, despite this, I was determined to figure something out. Before I did anything else, I sent a message to Falcon and asked him if he even meant to get rid of the old theme, and I told him that I was trying to find the background on my computer.

Before I do anything else for the old backgrounds, did you intend to get rid of it? I'm asking this because I had the background from the default theme saved somewhere on my computer (or at least I thought I did), and I'm trying to figure out how to get it back, since I may have ended up deleting it. Do you need the background for all of the skins or just the original? I only had the green one. Apr 16, 2015 21:30:04 GMT -5 Falcon Development said:
Just the original. After adjusting the brightness, I created a ProBoards site of my own so I could test everything else out. I had some screenshots of the old theme, colors and all, on my laptop and on my 4th generation iPod touch. I used the image editor again and used it to find the exact color codes for the different headers, boards, categories, etc. The creation of my ProBoards site really came in handy because it allowed me to make sure everything would look like it should. It also came in handy for the next step.
I got all the colors in order, and then it was time to give everything to Falcon. I went back to our PM, and I had another tab opened to the theme editor of the admin panel on my site. I basically copied everything over to the PM. I was able to see what Falcon can see in the admin panel, so I put everything in the order that they appear in the Visual Editor.

This isn't exactly the same background, since it has a log in the picture instead of a tree stump. However, I got the color right, or close enough to where you wouldn't really know the difference unless you were very observant. I made a forum myself just now to test the background and the colors to make sure that everything looked like it did before. Also, since I made the forum, I have been able to see what you see in the admin panel. This way, I can give you all the colors and everything in the order that everything appears on the Visual Editor.
The categories that each of these are in will be bolded.

Forum Shippings
Starting in 2013, certain threads were posted in Off Topic Discussions. These threads involved shipping one forum member with another forum member. This was a trend that lasted for a while on the forum. There were a lot of shippings that were very popular back in this era. FalconstarxSpottedleaf (Splacon) was a very popular one, especially before the forum knew about Falcon and Beka. At least half the forum shipped that, it seemed like. ShadexSplashy (Splade) was another one that was pretty popular. Rippleshadow and Redleaf was a third pairing that was quite popular. These are only three of the popular shippings. The last thread like this was created in 2015. While the trend began in 2013, I placed this section here with the 2015 events, since that's when it was last active.

Breaking Into Falconstar's House??
No worries. This section is only about a roleplay. This section is probably pretty self explanatory from here. There was once a roleplay called We Just Broke Into Falconstar's House. The roleplay was about exactly what it sounds like. The plot was centered around the characters breaking into Falconstar's home while he wasn't around, using a variety of methods. The house breakers had to steal random objects from the house and leave without being seen. If you got caught by Falcon, then you were out of the roleplay. This roleplay was actually made twice, once in 2012, and again in 2015.
Here's the thread from 2015:
We Just Broke Into Falconstar's House
The 2015 Christmas Event
Quite a few of you probably remember this event. It was one of the bigger events that took place on the forum. It doesn't even seem like I should be talking about it like it's been almost two years. How has it already been that long? Time flies.
Anyway, this event took place during the holidays of the year 2015. The default theme of the forum was very festive. It was colored accordingly, and there was even a snowfall effect. Snowflakes fell down the page, if you were on desktop mode. This was only part of the fun. The idea of the event was to get the forum's community involved to work together and to have a good time, while bringing in holiday cheer.
Two different teams were set up: Elves and Reindeer. Each member got to choose which team they wanted to be a part of, and they did so by going to their profile, and going to the "Group" tab and joining a group from there. Then, they could go to their Group Display settings to show whichever group they chose. Everyone whose display group was Elves had a green name, and everyone who was a reindeer had a red name. Whichever team had the most members at the end of the event won. The winners were the reindeer!
Aside from the general group competition, there were other smaller events that went on. First, there was a scavenger hunt where presents were hidden in various areas on the forum. When a member found one, they were required to PM Falcon the code that came with them, and if they were the first member to find it, they got to have this image added to their profile to display forever:
Then, for the second event, there was an artwork contest. The requirements for this one was that the artist had to submit an original piece of art that related to the holiday event before the deadline. There were three winners: utamaruru , mango sago , and Wolfheart . These three members received an award based on their winning level. You can see their prizes by visiting their profiles. Everyone else who participated in the artwork contest received a participation award. You can see this prize in my profile, to the left of the one with the balloons.
There was another prize that was only given out to a couple members, and that was a community spirit award. The people who were given this award were chosen to receive it for exemplifying an incredible amount of community spirit throughout the entirety of the holiday event. These members were ☆ Navnav ☆ and Wolfheart !
This event is the reason why you may still see people's names in red or green. Everyone who participated in the event got to keep their group.

Trapped in WC:UT
Trapped in WC:UT was a fun roleplay that was created a couple times, once in 2014 and again in 2015. The plot of this RP was based on a storyline where the characters started as people browsing the forum. Then, the people saw a link in the shoutbox, left by Falconstar. As soon as they clicked the link, the world changed around them. They were taken into a strange, yet very familiar world, which happened to be Warrior Cats Untold Tales version 15! The characters got zapped into the game as soon as they clicked the link. They were trapped in the game and had to find a way to survive in the world of WC:UT. The remake of this roleplay died in 2016.

Falcon Is Engaged!
Now, all the holiday festivities ended, and the new year of 2016 was welcomed. In February of this new year, Falcon made a big announcement to the forum about something in his personal life. That announcement was that he got engaged to BekaRuth. The members of the forum filled the thread with congrats. It was a good time.

Wisdom Teeth
This doesn't exactly have much to do with forum history, but I decided to include it anyway because it's something that happened that showed how outstanding our community is.
On June 27th, 2016, I had surgery and got all four of my wisdom teeth removed. A few days before it, I created a thread to warn the members that I'd likely be absent for a few days, maybe not completely, though definitely more than usual. I was very nervous about it, and I expressed that in the thread (Falcon and Dawn can verify this even without the thread ).
After I was out of surgery, I was able to come online to say that I was out and things like that. I kept falling asleep on and off for the first three days in a row. I'd wake up and then not long after that, I'd fall asleep again for another 2-5 hours, if it wasn't nighttime. While I was awake, I still managed to make a post or two and give updates on how I was doing.
It took me a week to get back on my feet, and another week or so after that to be able to eat normally. I was amazed at all the support I received during recovery. So many people replied to the thread to either ask how I was feeling, tell me that they were praying/thinking about me, or to just keep me company. I was, and still am, grateful for that. It means/t a lot to me.

Cattails Announcement/Falcon Is Married
Fast forward with me from June 2016 to late December 2016. This event is not really old at all, but it's part of forum history, so it belongs here.
On December 21st, 2016, Falcon created a thread to announce two big things. First, the announcement about Cattails was made. This was when Falcon Development broke the news to the forum that he was/is making a new cat game, aka Cattails. In case you don't know, Cattails is going to be an awesome (or pawesome) be-a-cat game. I won't spoil too much because if you don't know anything other than just what I just said, then you should check out the links that'll be provided at the bottom of this section.
The second announcement that Falcon made with the Cattails announcement is that he and Beka are married! When he did this, he also revealed their real life names for the first time ever on the forum.
Quick fact: Falcon actually told me about being married almost three months before the rest of the forum knew. I just kept my mouth shut about it, since that's his announcement to make not mine. I didn't even tell Birchstar, even though she lives with me.
Another fact: About two weeks before the forum announcement, Falcon mentioned to me in a PM about a big project he was working on. While the Kickstarter was still going on, I asked Falcon if Cattails was the project he was talking about, and it was.
The announcement thread for this is actually no longer on the forum (it was removed), but these two videos were posted when the thread was:
