i got a few more years ahhhhhhhhhhh
Anyways, since Spot has asked me to do this; I shall. Yesterday, I went shopping for school! I still need to go and get supplies and a few more clothes, but I did go! I really only got a few shirts, and a hoodie. When I go back, I need to pick up some supplies. I also need to pick up some sports equipment. Mostly I need some spandex and some workout shirts.

So, what is everyone doing for the remainder of the summer? Just trying to think of something that will keep the conversation going I was on vacation in France for a week, and I'll have a friend from the Netherlands visit next week haha. After that I think I'll just relax a bit more until my first day at work. Still gotta get any information from the school I'll go to for the dual education, but from what I've heard, they're not the fastest lol. My old school was horrible when it came to organizing things, so seems like it'll just be like my old school again haha. Has anyone gone supply shopping yet? What kind of supplies do you like to get? I don't think I'll go supplies shopping this year, to be honest. I'll probably re-use my folders from last year. Been doing that a lot the last three years, tbh.

The vacation sounds like fun, and I bet it's exciting that you get to see your friend. What are you going to work for? And yeah, I'm re-using some of my supplies from previous years. I got a few new things because some of my binders were ripped, and I needed a planner with the right year haha. I just think it's motivating to pick out new things to start you off.

Well it's part of the dual education haha, but I'm fully employed as an IT specialist for application development (it's a mouthful, basically it's programming and whatnot) in training for the duration of that education at a company haha. Gonna be odd to suddenly start earning money tbh. But yeah if I'm not at the school I'm gonna be working full-time. Also yeah, that's true. I used to buy planners and stuff, but like, I never ended up using them, because I always forgot I had them haha. I'm a bit messy honestly.

I only used the planner the school gave me last year, because it gave me points in classes. xD Only reason I used it. I never even bothered checking it after I wrote the assignments down.

You don't get one at school in college. If you want one, you buy it yourself.

They were testing to see if it would improve the percentage of homework being turned in on time. It didn't. I don't think any of us are going to be getting one this year.

I think I use planners more now than I did in grade school. Teachers don't remind you when you have a test or when homework is due. They expect you to remember because they give you a syllabus with all the due dates on them at the beginning of the semester.

Both of my last schools gave us planners, probably a district thing. They really like the planners, there was this one study skills I had to take in seventh grade and we needed regular planner checks
Also I'm not sure if I ever talked about this on here but I am thrilled to go to my new school bc when I was there for summer school I saw someone with a whole can of pineapple chunks i have photographic evidence it was great

I go back to high school on September 4th and I'll be a senior. And then my first day of college is the 5th
I'm taking two classes at a college near me so I get to leave at 11 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Most of the seniors at my school get a really easy year. I don't. Plus I have dance everyday until 6:30 plus a job at Walmart after that.
Here's my schedule for first semester:
Before School: AP Computer Science A First Block: Human Anatomy 1 Second Block: Fashion, Clothing and Textiles Drive to College (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) Block 3A: Choir (Tuesday, Thursday) Block 3B: Band (Tuesday, Thursday) Introduction to Sociology (at the college) Introduction to Human Biology (at the college)
Second Semester:
Before School: AP Computer Science A First Block: Human Anatomy 2 Second Block: Fundamentals of Public Adress (College course taught at high school) Block 3A: Choir Block 3B; Band Block 4: Intro to Lit Studies (college class taught at high school)

I think that's cool that you're dual enrolling this year. I didn't get to do that.
Which class are you looking forward to the most?

I'm most excited for my college ones because I get to leave and get to see what college is like.
I kinda want to take AP Environmental Science, but then I have to get rid of hunan Anatomy. Which would you recommend?

It depends. Do you know what you want to major in when you get into college?
