welcome to my name rater FORMAT: cat's name cat's description why your cat is named that EXAMPLE: Willowfur brown ticked tabby she-cat with soft fur and blue eyes named for her soft fur These ratings are on a scale of 1 to 10. I hope I don't need to explain this anymore. HOW I RATE: Smoothness - Does the name go together nicely? Is it smooth, like Shadowsky, or awkward, like Snowwing or, dare I say it, Billystorm? (Bleck!) Sense - Does it make sense? Can it paint a picture in your head, like Froststorm painting a picture of an ice storm, or does it sound way out there, like Deerfeather or, dare I say it, Hawkfrost? (Bleck!) Symmetrylessness - Is it redundant? Does it say two different things, like Snowshadow, or does it sound redundant as heck, like Starstar or, dare I say it, Twigbranch? (No bleck, Twig is a cool character) Synonym for creative that starts with S - Is it creative? Does it sound cute/cool/whatever your preference is, like Torrentwave, or is it extremely bland, unoriginal and boring, like Brownfur or, dare I say it, Whitetail? (Bleck!) Have fun making names!

FORMAT: Maplespirit Maple: her pelt colour Spirit: her enthusiasticness EXAMPLE: Deep orange-brown pelt with green eyes and a white muzzle Maple is a very jumpy cat with a good sense of humor, she is a very good hunter and has a smooth attitude, she doesn't like cats that tease her for her name. In my fan comic this is one of her conversations: ~frame shows Maple crossing the border of FoxClan and her clan BearClan~ ~next frame shows Maple bumping into her long-time enemy, Blackpaw, now Blackfur~ Blackfur: "What do you think your doing?" ~Maple hisses getting ready for a pounce~ Maplespirit: "Blackpaw!" ~Blackfur seems to stay calm, licking a front paw~ Blackfur: "ah Maplepaw, dont you know? I'm Blackfur now..." ~Maple sits, clamer~ Maplespirit decides to tease him: "even I thought you'd get a better name.." ~Blackfur is seen to be laying down~ Blackfur: "well your still Maplepaw.." ~Maplespirit is also seen in the same frame with her head up~ Maplespirit: "Nope! I'm Maplespirit now!" ~Black turns around getting up~ Blackfur: "spirit, is that for crossing borders?" ~obviously knowing Maples anger Black gets up his tail high~ Blackfur: "see ya!" ~frame shows Black walking away and Maple with a calm look on her face~

Maplespirit Smoothness: 8/10 Sense: 10/10 No Redundance: 10/10 Creativity: 10/10 This is an awesome name! I've never heard of it before, and the prefix and suffix are rarely used. It makes sense without sounding redundant. Although it probably wouldn't be used in the books, seeing that we have only one or two cats with that suffix, it's a great name. It fits her perfectly! It's a bit sharp in the middle, but overall, it flows nicely. Solid 95/100, or 38/40. Also, thank you for the personality example.

Rippleclaw Smoothness: 10/10 Sense: 10/10 No Redundance: 10/10 Creativity: 4/10 Rippleclaw has been used in canon, and it has the -claw suffix, which is quite overused. As of July 15, 2017, it's the seventh most common canon Warriors suffix, with 20 canon uses (not even a third as common as -tail, but close). However, everything else is great! 85/100.

I don't think you quite understand the actual format, though:
Name: Shadowsky Desc: Long-furred, void-black tom sans tabby markings and white with blue eyes Name reason: Named for his love of sleeping in high places and his ability to speak with StarClan like they're normal cats, and because he used to be a loner by the name of Shadow; before that, taken in by a kittypet named Lizzie aster his CLAN-BORN parents died in an earthquake, and he was named Shadow by Lizzie because of his void-black fur

cat's name: Runningstream cat's description: Mottled grey-blue tabby she-cat with clear green eyes why your cat is named that: Running: Because she was the first to get up on her four paws and run. Stream: Her pelt resembles the colour of a stream CLANS WATCH OUT FOR STREAMS THAT GREW LEGS AND RAN AWAY

Smooth: 9/10 Sense: 7/10 Creative: 10/10 No Redundance: 10/10
Nice! Running- and -stream aren't used that often, so it's cool to see them put together, but the reasoning could be a bit better. Normally, kits are named shortly after birth, and the prefix of their name normally indicates appearance. Had the reasoning been different, I'd probably have given an 11/10 for sense. OVERALL: 90/100

Pebblepelt
Light gray tabby she-cat with white paws and blue eyes
"Pebble" - She was the smallest of the litter, and it was also after her pelt. "pelt" - To emphasize the second reason of the prefix.

hi you're on a rock floating in space pretty cool huh also plz click untoldtales.proboards.com/thread/34764/create-cyoa-based-stories-writeSmooth: 9. I really like how the prefix and suffix start with the same letter. Sense: 10. This makes a lot of sense to me, but imagine if this was taken literally! XD Creativity: 6. The suffix -pelt is one of the most commonly used suffixes. No Redundance: 9. Although I like the prefix abd suffix having matching first letters, they have matching first two letters, which knocks off a point. Overall: 85%

Oakfrost
lithe dark brown tom with blue eyes
"Oak" - fur color resembles that of a tree. In addition, his father wanted him to be strong. "-frost" - he chose his own suffix, after the leaf-bare that his parents had fought bravely through before dying. He claims that it is in their honor. However, he is quite the opposite of a cold cat.
