F O R M A T I O N
A "Creating a Clan" Choose Your Own Adventure
The winds whistled through the air as dark gray clouds were gathering on the horizon. The skies overhead were not the calm blue, and instead a dismal gray. The sun was hardly visible, and its warmth could not be felt.
Grassy green hills stretch as far as the eye can see with the blades leaning with the gusts that pushed again and again. Flowers that grew alongside the grass did the same, but their blossoms were aiming for light from the sun. Hardly any tree could be seen, not even in the distance.
A black tom was seated at the top of one of the smaller hills of the grassland with his dark green eyes looking out into space as thoughts rushed through his head. His plumy tail swayed left and right, left and right.
The calmness dropped as a loud and desperate cry pierced through the silent atmosphere.
"Crow!"
The tom turned his head slightly to the right as a pale cream she-cat began to pad up the slope of the hill. Her breaths were slow and heavy as she dashed toward the tom with panic clear in her light blue eyes.
"Moth," he greeted with a small nod of his head - and a whisker twitching slightly at the other cat. "Do you have any good news this time?"
Moth shook her head side to side vigorously. "No, Crow," she replied between her rapid pants. She pressed her ears against her head as she continued, "The camp - we're being attacked!"
