Ok a regular hexagon has apothem of 12 ft and a blobfish is has an area of 6 ft^2. What is the maximum number of blobfish that can fit in the hexagon? Also btw, don't ask why the blobfish are two dimensional and are that big. See if u can answer this random creative and original math problem. U don't have to answer I'm just messin with ya, but it would be cool if someone did :3

I have not learned anything about this but I’ll try my best! Okay so if i cut the hexagon into 6 equilateral triangles that should help me. Now the longer leg of a 30-60-90 is √3 times more than x, the length of the shorter leg. So that makes X=4√3. Thats only half the length of the whole side length so if you multiply that by 2 you get 8√3. So you multiply that by 6 because there are 6 sides so you end up with 48√3 sq.ft. Since each blobfish is 6 sq.ft. Divide 48√3 by 6 then you will get 6 remainder √3. So the maximum number of blobfish in that hexagon is 6! *claps as fast as possible* u did really well on that!!!!
U did perfectly until the part where u multiplied 8(sqrt3) by 6 which ended up as the perimeter of the hexagon, but u interpreted that as the area and went on to find how many blobfish fit. If this helps, area of any regular polygon is 1/2(apothem x perimeter) or A=1/2aP :3 @gold

*turns on math teacher mode*
So if you start with x=2x, move all the variables to one side. So subtract x from both sides. x-x=0, and 2x-x=x. Wow! Now 0=x!!! You can check by substituting 0 for x in the original equation, and that simplifies to 0=0. Since that statement is true, the answer is right!

Tru but at the same time not tru. Numerically it’s true because zero times 2 is zero. But you have to remember that the equation above just doesn’t make sense. It gets me triggered because one thing can’t not equal its doubled self. It’s like saying an apple seed is equal to 2 apple seeds, it’s not!!!! Yes zero is a solution but the equation itself is just frustrating to look at. (Don’t mess with this asian lady!!!! Aka me lolol) Mapleheartstar |

yes thank u maple you are correct explanation: Lioden is a game where you have a pride that you need to take care of or your lions will become sad and hungry and run away and you'll forget to save up enough SB to reclaim all of your lions and you'll lose your pretty chased that you named Heckblaze the Hecking Demon. (that's censored btw) You can explore, participate in the event, rollover daily, attack other kings, breed, close your eyes during certain explore encounters in the February event, participate in the Midnight Pride roleplay, see weekly Friday doodle comic things, hope for a mutie but then not get a mutie or get a Sirenomelia cub but not have a jellyfish from the slot game yet so it dies within five days and then you're sad because it had a rosette marking and a lot of special markings and dusky skin and a special base and special eyes and a 1% fertility and you had no GB to by the thing that removes bad mutations so you could make sure its gender is male and that it could become your heir and it looked cute, base your username on an explore encounter or irrational number, forceask your best banning buddy with the amazing chicken to join it, neglect it for years and find out that your lions have only aged by one month which is the equivalent of a day IRL otherwise it would take way too long to do anything, or waste your time explaining Lioden on a site that ISN'T Lioden.
