Calling of Wolves: Since her pack was murdered, Shadow has made it her life's goal to reform her pack and kill the wolf who killed her family. Moon supports her sister, but as time passes, Shadow becomes more like the wolf she wants to kill instead of the alpha she wants to be. Choices are spring out in front of them, many lead to terrible paths, but a few lead to greatness. Shadow and Moon must choose their paths wisely or risk becoming the wolf they fear the most.
Remaking this.
Prologue
Shadow rolled around with her brothers and sisters. “Moon!” She yelped as her sister bit her ear a little too hard. Cloud, her mother, growled lightly; but enough to warn them to play nice. A large black wolf peeked in the den. Shadow tipped and jumped over to her father, Stone.
Stone nosed her and looked up at Cloud. "I need you to take the pups to the River Den; Night Pack has been spotted near here," he said worried. Shadow had never seen her father this worried, he usually took care of everything. If he was scared of Night Pack, they all were.
Cloud nodded and shooed them out of the den.
Shadow blinked her eyes at the bright light, she didn't really understand why they couldn't stay in the den. She yelped as Spruce picked her up, but didn't squirm like her brother Ash. Leaf picked up Moon and they padded off
Then had gotten a bit ways away when screeching sounded behind them. Cloud whimpered, but didn't stop or turn back. Shadow tried not to shake, but the scent of fear made her tense.
They were half way there when a wolf came limping toward them.
Cloud dropped Shadow’s brother and ran over to the she-wolf. “Speckle? Speckle what happened?” She asked fearfully, her eyes wide and sacred.
Speckle fell over, blood oozed from a wound on her neck. “The….Den….Is…..Trapped…” The dying wolf managed to say, then her head fell to the ground and she stopped breathing. Cloud burried her muzzle in Speckle's fur -- an act of morning -- then picked up Shadow’s brother and ran.
