Remake #5, my goodness. Well, someone's a procrastinator.
Anyway, yes. As some of you know, today(coughsnotthedayi'writingthisthedaythethreadwaspostedcoughs) marks the 2nd year anniversary of UTS. Also my birthday, but that's not important.
2 years. Started this when I was 13, I'm 15 now. Now, from remake #4, some of you may noticed that the characters were human, rather than cats. The writing was fixed slightly to make them humans, rather than cats.
Haha, that's abandoned. Partially.
Yes, they are humans now. However, there is something new.
I am rewriting the whole thing.
Aha, yup. Rewriting all of it. The idea will be the same, but things will just...be different. Now, I had planned to get as much done before the 30th...That turned out to be 2 chapters. I will be working on this whenever I have time, and will try to get it done as soon as possible. For now...Enjoy these two chapters.
Prologue
A small girl walked into a room. Windows were scattered throughout the room, some looking out into the hallway and others looking outside. It was a rather warm day. The sun was shining, few clouds were strung about. The small girl looked away from the window and to a desk, where a tall male sat, his dark blue hair sticking up slightly. The girl gave a small cough and he looked up at her with emerald eyes.
"Ah, Dawn! There you are. I was starting to think you had gotten lost." He broke into a grin.
"No, I'm fairly certain I know my way around this school by now," Dawn chuckled.
"Of course. Now, I have something for you. If I can just find it..." Falcon began looking around the slightly messy desk. He shuffled the papers, making it more messy until he found what he was looking for. "Here we go. Dawn, would you mind setting these on the table once you get here tomorrow?" He handed her a thick stack of papers.
"Sure, Falcon." Dawn glanced at the paper on top. It had a student's name, as well as their schedule. She set them down in a bag that she brought.
"Are you ready for tomorrow?" Falcon asked, an eyebrow raised questioningly.
"Are you?" Dawn asked right back.
"I suppose I'm as ready as I'll ever be."
"You'll be fine. I'm ready as well, I guess. Not really sure how everything'll turn out. I guess we'll find out," Dawn murmured.
"Yup, we sure will. Ok, can you bring the other teachers in? It's time we went over protocol one last time," Falcon said.
"Certainly. One moment." Dawn walked out of the room, looking for the other teachers. She saw Spotty first, and quickly beckoned her over. She quickly walked over to Dawn with a questioning look. "Protocol." Spotty just nodded in understanding. The two continued walking for a bit before both Water and Ginger came into sight. Spotty waved them over, quickly told what they were doing, and then the four continued walking.
Once Dawn rounded them all up-she found Birch and Moogle not long after finding Water and Ginger-she walked back to the office where Falcon was. When she arrived, she gave a slight knock to the wall before walking in, the others following her.
"Ah, excellent. Ok, so once you get here, you are to go to your room. Get everything ready, including the list of the students you have for each period. You can also assign seats if you wish.
"Once the bell rings, students will start coming in and grabbing their schedule. Dawn will have laid out their schedules on a couple of tables which will be set up in the area where students enter. Students will grab their schedules and head over to their first class. Once the bell rings again, signalling that class has started, what happens next is up to you. Are we all clear? Does anyone have any questions?" Falcon asked, looking at the teachers. They had been listening intently.
"I'm fairly sure we've all got it, Falcon. We'll be fine," Spotty chuckled.
"I know, I'm just nervous! It may be our fourth year of this school, but it still makes me anxious," Falcon chuckled.
Chapter 1
Splashy brushed her hair, pulling the brush through the tangled mess. After many minutes of brushing it, it was soft and she could run her fingers through it easily. "There. I've brushed my hair for the week," she chuckled.
She continued getting ready until it was time for her to go to school. She got up, grabbed her backpack, and began to walk to school. It was the first day, and she was nervous. Who wouldn't be? She continued walking, thinking. I wonder who all will be new... This would be Splashy's 3rd year of going to the Untold Tales School.
While walking, she heard someone running up to her and looked to her right. Sky was running up to her. "Sku!" she greeted them.
"Hey Splooshy," Sky panted. They had run all the way up to Splashy. Together, the two friends walked the rest of the way to school.
Upon arriving, the two waited with many others for a few minutes until the bell rang. The two then slipped into the school along with the other students. Upon entering, one of the teachers (as well as the assistant principal), Dawn, was there, greeting the students.
"Welcome back to Untold Tales School! And, to our new students, welcome! I’m sure you will love it here,” Dawn greeted. “We have your schedules on the table, so just come up and grab your schedule. Teachers will help you find your class if you’re having any trouble.”
Splashy and Sky walked up to the table and looked for their schedules. Splashy found hers, followed quickly by Sky finding theirs.
“First class is math,” Sky said, looking at their schedule.
“I also have my first class as math,” Splashy grinned. The two then walked over to their class.
Upon entering the classroom, they saw Spotty.
“Welcome back, you two!” she greeted them.
“It’s nice to be back,” the two of them chuckled before sitting down next to each other.
“I wonder how many new members there are,” Splashy mused, looking around the mostly empty classroom.
“I suppose we’ll have to wait to find out. There’s bound to be lots, though.”
“Yeah..,” Splashy watched as more and more people found the class and walked in. Some she recognized, some she didn’t.
After a few more minutes, the bell rang, signalling class was to start. Spotty rushed to the front of class after greeting a few members. “Alright, class. I’m sure that some of you realize who I am, but for those who don’t, I’m Spotty, and I will be your math teacher for this year. We have a lot to learn, but I’m sure you will all have fun.
“Ok, first things first. Introductions. Now, I’m sure some of you would much rather not speak in front of the class, so here’s how we’ll do this. I will hand out a sheet of paper, where you will write your name. On this sheet of paper, there are multiple little boxes. Each one has something on it, such as ‘has siblings’, ‘knows multiple language’, and many others. You may write your own name on one of these boxes, but the rest must be found throughout the classroom. I’m hoping you will talk to your classmates, and learn more about them.” Spotty began to pass out the papers throughout the class. Splashy looked at it, and then looked at Sky.
Time to meet some of the newer-and older-members in this class.
Yup. Some changes. Since this forum has been up for 4 years (ithink) i figured it would make more sense for this to be the 4th year of UTS.
