AHhhh I've been wanting to make one big story where all my OCs get thrown in together AND HERE IT IS.
I'll post the first chapter in a little bit, right now we're gonna start with some selfies from main characters. :3
Chapter One:
Raylen groaned and frantically slid her hands through her bed's sheets in an attempt to find her phone. She grabbed it and quickly pulled it to her face, squinting her green eyes in it's bright glare. She turned off the loud alarm in a few taps and then sat up. She stretched her arms and then hopped out of bed. There was a gray tank top and skinny jeans laying on her dresser. They had be set there the night before along with a water bottle and her lunch. Raylen quickly changed into the outfit and went out into the living room. She went over a quick mental list in her head and laid everything out in front of her on the couch. “Book-bag. Phone. Headphones. Lunch.” Perfect! She threw her backpack over her shoulder, plugged her headphones into her phone, slid her phone into her pocket, and grabbed her lunchbox with one hand. She called “I love you!” to her mother, who was in the other room, before walking out the front door.
She quickly marched up the steep sidewalk hill that lead to the bus stop. The automobile's loud engine could be heard very clearly from the other end of the hill. Raylen took the time she'd be waiting for the bus to start playing the music she had on her phone. She pressed the shuffle icon and instantly a upbeat rap song started playing. Wonderful! She loved rap, and music always calmed her down when she was excited. The transport came screeching to a noisy stop in front of Raylen and she excitedly climbed the stairs. Raylen flash a smile to the older woman that was driving the bus before she walked to the very back of the bus as fast as she could. She sat down in the very last seat on the girl's side of the bus. It was super dark and there didn't seem to be many people on at all. Oh well. This was one of the first stops. There will be more in no time.
The first stop they came to was about a hundred yards away from the one Raylen boarded on. She looked at the doors as they opened. It might have seemed a bit weird, but she was just searching for her good friend. The first person to get on was a short boy; probably in middle school. The next was a tall, slim boy in a red t-shirt. He had an outgrown high-n-tight hair cut and black glasses. Raylen's heart dropped down to her stomach. She blushed and had to look out the window, luckily his eyes were glued to his phone, so he didn't catch her eye. She had always found this boy cute, but never talked to him. He was two grades ahead of her, so why would he want to talk to her? An eight grader talking to a sixth grader? Aha. Well.. ninth grade and eleventh grade seemed less ridiculous. Maybe she could talk to him this year?
Her attention was brought to the seat in front of her when a girl with blond hair snapped her fingers in front of Raylen's face. Victoria. Raylen had known this pale-skinned girl for almost four years. Victoria was a grade higher than Raylen and always sat in the seat in front of her. “Quit listening to your lame music and talk to us.” Victoria said to Raylen in a playful tone. Raylen rolled her eyes and took one ear bud out. “I see you haven't lost any of your sass.” Raylen mumbled. Victoria giggled in response and then turned around.
The blond girl reached into her purse and pulled out some Airhead candy bars. She tossed one over the seat into Raylen's lap and then chucked another one directly across from where she sat. Raylen watched the candy fly and red filled her cheeks again when it hit it's target. The sophomore boy she had been admiring a few minuets ago was sitting in a diagonal line from her. The candy hit him in the face and knocked his glasses off. Victoria burst out in a fit of laughter and Raylen tried to hold back a few giggles. The boy smiled and looked over at Victoria. “The first day of school and I'm already getting bullied!” he said playfully before leaning over in his seat to pick up the candy and his glasses from the floor.
“Good sense of humor. That's cute.” Raylen whispered to her friend. Victoria dramatically turned her head around to look at Raylen with wide eyes. “OH.” The blond said with a huff. Raylen covered own face with her ebony hands. “I like tall guys, okay?” she mumbled. Victoria smiled and quickly switched seats so that she was beside her friend. “Do you even know his name, Dumbo?” she whispered in the dark light. Raylen shook her head. “It's Matthew. He lives two houses down from me.” Victoria informed her friend. Raylen took her other headphone out and listened intently. “Do you think I'd have a chance with him? What should I say?” she questioned her friend. Victoria shrugged. “He's really nice. Just start talking to him sometime. Just don't be weird. I know the last part is really hard for you.” she teased. Raylen blushed and playfully pushed her friend away.

The sky had turned a light blue by the time the bus pulled into the school's parking lot. The few six students in the back of the bus waited for the larger crowd in the front to get off first before even standing up. Raylen was in the very back of the line to get off. She glanced out the window while slowly moving up the line and was take aback by the huge amounts of students. She quickly put her headphones back in and turned the music up nearly to max volume. By the time she hopped off the last step she realized Victoria had left her alone in the huge crowd of people.
Raylen wove her way through the crowd and tried to get inside as fast as she could. She was instantly awestruck by how huge the school was. The roof seemed like it touched the sky. The hall was was wide enough to fit a whale. Everything was so.. different. She noticed a lot of students crowding around some papers taped to a wall in the main hall. “Those must be the schedules.” she thought to herself and made her way over. She started scanning the list for her name and read what was beside it for first block. Biology. How great! She loved science. The only issue was... she had no idea where the class was. She started looking around for anyone she knew from middle school. No one. The hall was full of strangers. She spotted Matthew leaning on a wall by the doors that lead to an outdoor picnic area. She started to make her way over to him, but before she could even get close enough to call his name a girl with blond hair and white bangs came skipping up to him and embraced him in a hug. Raylen did an about-face and quickly walked the other way. Was that his girlfriend? Did they notice her coming towards them? They must think she's really weird.
Raylen started wondering the halls alone. She looked around, half expecting her class to have a big sign that said “RAYLEN COME HERE!” Unfortunately, that was not the case. She went into the first restroom she saw and looked shyly around at all the other girls there. There were so many chicks crammed into such a small space. One caught her eye, though. While most girls were wearing t-shirts and yoga pants there was one that was in a fancy crimson shirt and white skirt. She had just finished touching up her eyeliner and was heading out of the bathroom. Raylen stepped up beside the fancy girl as she walked by. “Uh.. do you know your way around here?” Raylen asked timidly. She looked really confused for a second, and then realized Raylen must be a freshman. “Yeah. What do you need?” she asked with a kind smile. “I have a biology class and don't know where to go.” Raylen explained.
On the way to the class the fancy student told Raylen her name was Talesha and that she was a senior. Once the two got to the biology class Talesha offered her phone number to Raylen, that way if she had anymore questions she could text her. Raylen agreed and gave Talesha her own number before going into the class and sitting down at a random desk.
