(HOLLY LIKED THE STORY SO MUCH SO i DECIDED TO PUT IT HERE)
Prologue(Me)
We always thought we were here for years, no an eternity. In this land we roam, it was different long ago. We always thought we were protected by the two, but we were wrong. NightRunners haunted us in our sleep, and lived in the fields leaving no peace in the land. We were split into four groups the North, the West, the East, and the South. Darkness risen among the groups forcing us to stick together to fight off the darkness, but nothing worked....
We were like this for years… Being controlled by the Shadows... Until the true heroes finally came to rescue us… Yin, the darkness and the leader type of the two, and Yang the playful and youngest. They brought peace for centuries to come, but... They have gone missing, we did not expect them to be immortal, but they were gone... Atleast we though, but we thought wrong…. Now, we are afraid...
Chapter One(Me)
The darkness seemed to be waiting, but only two eyes stared out beyond what was left. I was there, but it was all wrong. It felt all wrong, but it was. The sky seemed to be like an explosion of color, but that was what I saw. The clouds seemed to be carefully painted in the gentle sky, but I couldn’t reach out to grab it. I’ve been lost in this seemed to be dark forest for centuries, and I didn’t expect myself to be a legend anymore.
I seemed to be expressionless like I lost my feelings in this cold forest, and I couldn’t see past the trees. It was just… Fog. If only I could see the one that was not with me, but I really couldn’t. Finally, I raised up only to hear the last word I heard before this terrible place became my home.
“Yin… Where are you?” I managed to speak, but this place laid a curse on me, which I could not shout, nor shriek.
Everything seemed gray in my mind, but it really wasn’t. I felt like Yin was watching me, somehow… If only I could see her again, but wishes do not come true. Something pushed down into my white fur, which seemed gray under the trees, which wasn’t very normal for me to be in.
“Why, hello there…” A strange murmur seemed to echo in my ears, but they were clearly behind me. I suddenly felt not alone, but I was still very anxious. There was a seemed to be ghost like fox standing behind me staring at me, but I seemed to show no fear.
“It is alright, Yang. You have been forgotten by the Night Runners who put you in a deep sleep.” His voice echoed, but I tried to stay calm while sitting there looking at him.
I tried to speak, but nothing came out. Everything felt weird, but for some reason I felt fine with this strange ghost fox. Tears almost slid out of my eyes, but I tried to blink them away.
“Ah… I have to get you and your sister out of here before it’s too late.” He told me, but I was still very confused why he came to visit me for no reason.
I stared around only to see shadows surrounding the trees. The sky suddenly became dark like it was night, but this type of dark seemed different, and felt different. The ghost fox stared at me, but all I could make is a little squeak. The shadows came closer and suddenly took form of many shadow creatures.
Among them was Yin, but when I stared at her she seemed different. I felt the ghost fox nudging me to stare back at him, but it seemed to not work. I heard Yin cry out for me to listen, but it seemed like I was trapped in staring at Yin.
“YANG HELP ME!” Yin finally broke through my thoughts, but all I remembered was running towards her not knowing it was a trap until I saw the shadows surround me. The ghost fox ran towards me only to go flying into me. My breaths seemed short, but I was breathing.
The ghost fox went through me and landed on Yin, and all I saw was a shadow version of Yin. I felt like a fool…. It was a fake. They are still after me even in this sleeping state. I am trapped, but I hope someone will find me before it becomes the end of me.
I notice the shadows attacking my only friend….. I completely forgotten about my fears of my sister being dead. My paws suddenly started shaking, and I collapsed landing on the ground, but it felt like an eternity before I finally landed. All I saw were the shadows surrounding the only friend I received in this state.
The only faint noise I heard were the memories when me and Yin were kits…. Roar! I will destroy you... I blinked slowly, but the battle kept raging on when my eyes opened once more. My claws here unsheathed and digging in the hard dirt, but this was my dream wasn’t it? Why can’t I control it anymore? Questions echoed in my mind, but none of them got answered…
I felt like my power was being drained, and my paws felt numb. Wishes don’t come true I always think, but it wouldn’t be a waste of time to wish for my sister be here….. The only thing I felt now were tears….
I closed my eyes hoping this would be over soon…..
