Splashpaw stood up and drew a swift blow across the fox's face. The fox raised a paw to knock her down, but she jumped out of the way, barely missing the paw. She yelped and jumped away from the fox. She turned towards Daisyshadow and dragged her injured Clanmate out of the clearing and let her rest under a bush, well-sheltered. "Stay here," she mewed softly. She took off towards the fox again and burst into the clearing snarling, bursting with new energy and confidence.

With Splashpaw not distracting the fox anymore, it flung Moonshadow off of it. Moonshadow landed on her feet. She had some scratches, but the fox was more injured than she was. Confident she could win this fight, she circled the fox, lashing out at its weak points.

Splashpaw blinked a sorry at Moonshadow and copied her example almost exactly. Finally, the fox snarled and turned tail, darting for the bushes. Splashpaw finally mewed, "I wouldn't mind if I never, ever see another fox or its russet fur in my whole life! When I see my next one, it'll be too soon!" she spat.

((Would you mind if we chased the fox off now? If you want it to stay longer, ignore the part of my post where the fox runs away.))

(Oh yeah the fox should run away at this point)

"Oh, StarClan, no," Moonshadow agreed. "But we need to make sure there aren't other ones. This fox could have a mate or a family somewhere around here." She cast a concerned glance at Daisyshadow. "And we need to find a medicine cat."

"Yes," she agreed. She shook her pelt and trotted towards Daisyshadow. "Are you okay?" she asked, her green eyes wide.

[💫Fallenstar💫]

Reedfeather stretched as he woke up.
Spottedfern looked for her apprentic.
Hawkpawpurrs.

Splashpaw prodded Daisyshadow with a paw. "Are you okay?" she asked more frantically. She shook her head and settled next to the warrior. "Let's hope she'll be okay!"

"She'll be fine." Moonshadow flicked her tail dismissively. "We'll just need to get her back to camp."

Late for the action as usual, Birchstripe bounded into the scene. "What did I miss?" he panted, looking around at the scene. His eyes widened. "Oh. Um...do you need any help?"

Snowheart decided to let her kits paly in the main part of camp To think...in just a moon they'll be apprenticesshe thought to herself with a smile.

Splashpaw looked at Moonshadow. "Then let's get her back to camp." She tried to carry her, but she was too heavy and she dropped her. She looked up at Birchstripe. "There was a fox. You can help get Daisyshadow back to camp." She dipped her head, nervous about ordering around a warrior.

..dasiyshadow let out a soft moan of pain as she was rolled onto birchstrips back looking at splashpaw she sighs with a hint of joy that this young apprentice was not injured badly .. murmuring in pain .. all i wanna do is go home to sleep and make sure splashpaw is ok .. she weakly watch splashpaw with a small smile, her voice less of a whisper.. you did great splashpaw and thanks moonshadow .... heh we showed that fox.. coughing up blood the let her head roll as they carried her acing body back to camp..

"What happened?" Snowheart asked as she saw Daisyshadow "I-I'm going to go get the medicine cat" she said and rant to the medicine cat den.

Splashpaw followed the cats anxiously. I hope she's alright!

Spottedfern headed back to camp so should could make sure everything was alright.

Splashpaw saw Spottedfern. "Hello, Spottedfern. There was a fox in the territory, but we chased it off. It did injure Daisyshadow, though," she mewed, concern lining her tone.
