Lionstar's ears perked up. "A fox?" He leapt down from the branch and raced after Moonshadow and Splashpaw.

Snowheart watchem go, uikly ushering her kits into the nursery "Mama! I was playing!" Tabbykit complained, but Graykit just glared at him "Tabbykit! You heard them!" "I bet a fox isn't that scary" he huffed

When Moonshadow finally reached Daisyshadow, the injured cat was half-unconscious under a tree. Moonshadow went right to business, knowing that the Daisyshadow would get help soon enough. "Where's the fox?" She demanded. "Is it injured? Did anyone else get hurt?"

Lionstar skidded to a halt. "Oh StarClan. And Spottedfern is out on patrol, isn't she?" He murmured to himself.

"We need to find it!" she mewed. She was about to add 'I wish you gave me a mentor to teach me some battle skills', but didn't, afraid it would be disrespectful. She swept around and whisked towards Daisyshadow. "Daisyshadow! Wake up!" fear glazed Splashpaw's eyes. "We need a medicine cat!" she shrieks. "Daisyshadow will die! Someone needs to help her!" she yowls. The one warrior who had regarded her as more than a little kitty, the one warrior who was actually going to teach her things, the one warrior who could have become friends with her. Why that one warrior? She rested against Daisyshadow's flank. "I'm here now, Daisyshadow. PLease, open your eyes, stay with us..."

Lionstar nodded, pacing anxiously. "Okay, um, Moonshadow, could you stay here? I'll find the patrol, and Splashpaw can go gather some more warriors."

"I'll go get the patrol I sent just a few minutes ago," Moonshadow offered. "A couple of them are good trackers. I'll take them to go find the fox."

Splashpaw hesitated. She knew exactly why her leader was sending her away from Daisyshadow. She narrowed her eyes, but forced her head into a respectful dip and managed to whisper, "yes, Lionstar" before trotting away towards camp. She tried to convince herself that this job was just as important, but couldn't. Moonshadow already has a patrol, the tiny voice in her mind complained. Lionstar is sending you away to take your mind off of her. She knew that much. She also knew that Lionstar didn't actually need the warriors he had sent her to get; Moonshadow's patrol would be enough. Trying not to be annoyed as she pushed through the gorse wall and burst into camp, she mewed, "Lionstar needs more warriors to come and fight off the fox," she said, trying to sound like getting the warriors was her only priority now. "Can some cat volunteer?"

.. waking up after a few min from blacking out, she lifts her muzzle to pick up some similar smells moonshadow splashpaw and ... lionstar!!! .. a jolt a energy was enough for her to wobble onto her paws..

Snowheart perked her ears, but stayed back, glad she had the excuse of her kits not to go. Sure, her dependence of smell and hearing might come in handy but...the prospect of a fox...it scared her to her very core. This was exactly why she joined the clan cats in the first place, protection and being able to hide and not having to fight off everything.

"Anyone?" Splashpaw called again. She paced around a bit. Unable to stand there any longer, she darted back to the group. "No cat volunteered," she reported. She saw Daisyshadow wobbling on her paws. "Is she okay?" she asked, her eyes wide.

Spottedfern noticed a sticking pointing to camp she took as a sign from starclan to go to camp.

"Lionstar, I know this isn't the time, but.. When will I get a mentor? And, bonus question, when will cats stop treating me like a kit?" she asked, spice in her tone. "I'm useless until I can do something!" she mewed angrily. She stomped over to a fern and sat under it, flicking her tail in anger, still waiting for Lionstar to respond.
