Rosepelt
Rosepelt let out a silent sigh of relief, and then stretched. "Well, where are we off to? I'd prefer not getting my paws wet this time," she meowed, her eyes glimmering with amusement.
Emberpaw
Emberpaw did a little hop of excitement, and then began to claw the earth. "Lets go!"
Addertalon
Addertalon cocked his head. "We were going to follow the stream again," he began to meow, but trailed off. "I suppose we might be able to go another way." He looked around from cat to cat. Loudtail, Rosepelt. He thought the names over a few times to commit them to memory. He wasn't sure why, he just figured that it was the right thing to do. He took a few steps towards the exit, and then glanced over his shoulder to make sure that everyone was following him.
Rosepelt (again)
Rosepelt opened her mouth to say something, but closed it and shook her head. Sometimes Addertalon could be irritatingly literal. As she took a few steps out of camp, she paused to draw in the crisp scent of leaf-fall.
“A little water ain’t going to hurt, unless your afraid of a fish jumping on ya.” Loudtail joked with a smile which either way he was happy to be going out of camp and doing something, the warrior followed after the cats to leave the camp. That would be funny to see... although the fish would be Asterstream, haha! Or better yet a cat-sized fish! he thought to himself and start to chuckle a little at the thought. “Let’s go fishing, or hunting- or fushing? Hishing?” He purposely mashed the two phrases together to come up with another word, it was a rather horrible one.
Asterstream with Emberpaw (~Goldensplash~ ) and Brambleheart (✞~Spottedleaf ~✞)
Asterstream nodded in response to the deputy then heading back to her apprentice, “Hold on to your tail now, we have to get Brambleheart.” She mewed to the young cat then looking for the warrior, seeing that he was not in sight made her deduce that he was probably still in the warriors den or perhaps already out of camp. “Emberpaw can you let him know he’s on a border patrol? I’ll wait for you both by the entrance.”

Addertalon
Addertalon shook his head, letting out a small purr at Loudtail's bad joke. As he padded away from camp, he scented the air for prey. Squirrel, he thought. He turned off from the group, and stopped right in front of a blackberry bush. Underneath, a squirrel was nibbling on one of the sweet berries. As he approached, careful to stay low and silent, he watched the creature glance up, frightened. As soon as he saw the movement, Addertalon leapt into the air, and pounced. By this time, the squirrel was scrabbling frantically away, and Addertalon caught it only barely by hooking a claw in it's tail, and finishing it off with a swift bite. He stood, catching his breath for a moment before scraping earth over the piece of prey. He stretched, showing off his strength, and walked back over to the group. "Easy," he proclaimed.
Rosepelt
Rosepelt sighed, exasperated, as Addertalon boasted. She flicked her tail across his ear, and then waved him on. "Come on," she meowed, "if I am going to get wet, I might as well get it over with." She watched as Addertalon took the lead, and followed him again. She was happy that the prey was plentiful, but shuddered at the thought of the coming leaf-bare. The winds had not yet brought snow, but she knew that they would soon. The cold was not welcome.
Emberpaw
Emberpaw nodded, as she watched the hunting patrol walk off. She blinked. "I'll go get him now!" She bounded off, glancing around camp for the familiar brown shape. Not seeing him, she veered to the left and stuck her head into the warrior's den. "Hi, Brambleheart! You're on border patrol with us today!"
Loudtail followed Adertalon out of camp and once they got to the stream did he scent out prey, “Show off.” He mewed when the warrior brought back a squirrel which he wasn’t the greatest at hunting, however he’d sometimes catch prey and he wasn’t going to get shown up by another. He sniffed the air catching the scent of a mouse, he lowered himself to the ground and slowly began to stalk the creature. It took all his willpower to keep himself steady to not let his presence be known. Almost....almost there.... he thought to himself.

Addertalon
Addertalon watched Loudtail as he stalked the mouse. He stayed very still, breathing quietly, as to not scare off the prey. His eyes seemed to glare, though not intentionally. After a moment, he turned towards Rosepelt to see that she had wandered off.
Rosepelt
Rosepelt had shaken her head as Addertalon watched Loudtail. Tomcats.. She turned away towards the stream, and walked to the edge of the bank. She winced, and laid her ears flat against her head as she carefully placed a paw down. As it sank deep into the mud, she took a step with her other paw. The bank wasn't too large, and, flicking the mud off of her paws after every step, she slowly made her way to the water. She paused to take a lap of the water, and watched for fish, the calming rush of the water soothing her, and taking away from the unpleasant sensation of the mud.
Loudtail took a couple of paw steps closer and lunged, he heard the leaves under his paws crunch and jumped on the mouse. His luck had run out, he missed the critter by only some whiskers away from his claws and did a roll into a rather prickly bush. “MOUSEDUNG!” He snapped in both embarrassment and in anger, he cursed under his breath once more and then tried to get himself out of the mess. The fur’s great in the winter, but I hate these.... he thought to himself once he realized he was sort of stuck to the bush like a kit to catmint.

Addertalon stifled a snicker, but calmed himself and ran over to Loudtail. "Are you alright?" He looked at the warrior with a mixture of sympathy and humor. He paused for a second, and then cocked his head. "Did you get stuck?"Lily~Myth
Loudtail looked up to see the warrior coming to his rescue but he could tell the tom had been at the very least chuckling at his predicament, “Nah I ain’t stuck, I just love bushes, did you know that they love fur? I’m fine too.... my pride and dignity utterly destroyed by a mouse, I shall retire to the elder’s den and live out my days in solitude!” He meant from sarcasm to simply joking of his situation but he knew that he’d have to search through- or have some cat help him make sure he got rid of all the thorns.

Addertalon
Addertalon looked confused. "Why would getting stuck in a bush put you in the elder's den?" Though he was a good cat at heart, he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed. Or at least, somebody once told him that. He wasn't sure what that meant. He took a few steps towards Loudtail, and grabbed a thorn between his teeth, yanking it out with a sharp tug. Lily~Myth
“It was a joke-“ Loudtail begin to say however kept his mouth shut when the warrior pulled out a thorn from his pelt, “Grrgh pesky little things...” he wanted to yowl his head off in pain but knew that it might draw in unwanted attention, he learned that the hard way when he was an apprentice and did not want a repeat of that time. The warrior managed to get one leg out from the bush and tried to pull himself out of the bush although it was hard, his thick pelt didn’t help the tom and the thorns were like little classmate clinging on. Just my lucky day, first patrol I’m on and BAM stuck in a bush.... I’m not going to hear the end of this for moons! he thought to himself which he wasn’t now that keen on going to see the Medicine cats and hoped that wouldn’t be the case.

Rosepelt
Rosepelt padded over to the toms, covered in mud and sopping wet. "What happened," she asked, observing Loudtail's thorn-covered pelt, "Looks like you got into a fight with that bush, hey?" She glanced around, and half nodding to herself. "There weren't any fish about in the stream. I got my paws dirty for nothing!" The brown she-cat dropped down and began to wash her paws, pausing every once and a while to spit out the mud that she licked off with her tongue.
Addertalon
Addertalon sniffed the air again for prey. There were still some out and about, and he listened for the tell-tale rustling of tiny feet. After a moment, he turned around, and stalked a bird that stood fluttering it's wings behind him. As he drew closer, he stepped on a dry leaf, and the bird shot off. He sighed. "I've never had any luck with birds." Stretching, he padded off in a different direction to look for more prey, away from the rest.
