I don’t know what I’m doing
VERY IMPORTANT
Read the whole thing. If you do not, I may end up killing your character due to the strict rules here. Disobeying the leader without good reason will get you exiled. Exile is a state where you will be killed on sight by the group, and usually you will die.
In the year 2478, unease turned into panic as war was declared. The Eurasia continent was unsettled, as the regions Spain, England, and Russia fought for control. A war all over the world.
2501, the first war machine was made. It had a humanoid shape, but had titanium alloy armour and an array of hidden weapons. However, the programming was off. They immediately shut it off.
2517, the year the first batch of robots were made in the town of Dustdevil, a small town of around 4,000 acres of land, half of it technically federal. However, the programming hadn't been fixed, and they immediately sttacked the engineers and factory personnel, killing almost everyone. In Dustdevil, tensions are high as the rogue machines patrol the streets. Everyone is in a group, and every day someone tries to go to the lab and shut all of the robots off from the main control panel. The problem is that the panel is located in a highly secure location, second floor out of six, locks and traps. Only people who have the remote can disable this.
These robots hold the remote internally, and now many have lost their lives. When will the town be freed from these mechanical nightmares?
Stragglers find the group, and then everything changes…
Rules:
1) Falcon's rules, as always
2) These robots should never be attempted to take down alone. I control them when someone engages in battle with one, and I will help dictate the fight. Should you engage alone, you will be killed.
3) No perfect characters. Flaws often make the characters interesting.
4) Don't steal from the group's supplies. If you do, you will be exiled and cast on the streets with a red piece of cloth.
5) Please read posts you respond to thoroughly. You may miss details if you don't.
6) Post at least three sentences if possible. One liner posts often are hard to respond to.
7) Only have as many characters as you can manage. If you don't manage every character well enough, I may message you to remind you.
8) Killing characters should only be done with the permission of the owner, and I must be given notification. Unless you engage alone, the owner has to give their permission.
9) Three rules broken and you're kicked out of the roleplay.
10) The supplies are given out depending on roles and the likes.
11) Hint, don't have your character have too many talents without ample backstory to support it. I will deem it as perfect and not accept it.
12) There is an inventory slot for a reason. I will add to the supplies what you bring.
13) There is a hierarchy to the system, the leader being an NPC. I will assess the character's merits and talents before placing them in their position.
Location
Dustdevil is a small town, stated earlier. If you've read the whole thing, the name of the facility is the password. In the center was the Solheim Facility, where these robots were made. Six stories, but only the bottom two are accessible. The materials are kept there. Robots patrol the whole building. Never go in alone. Never. You will die for sure. The first floor is where the robots heavily focus on. Each floor is around 17 feet high. The walls are made of granite, and appear like a museum. If you attempt to climb to the second floor, you will most likely be killed by one of the robots. The sign for the facility is on the sixth floor. The main goal is to access the main panel, to turn off the robots. Usually around thirty robots are in the building at a time.
The base is an old bar called Old Solitude. The windows are covered with paint, to hide the survivors. It is constructed from wood with roughly hewn stone every now and then. The middle table has been torn up for supplies. The beds are mainly piles of blankets and bedsheets that were accumulated. The people in the hierarchy with higher ranks often tend to always sleep on them, while some people have one blanket and sleep on the floor. The old pantry where the extra alcohol would be stored is stocked with metal water bottles, food, medical supplies, and also weapons.
The streets are rubble, as most buildings are degraded from the constant firing from these rogues.
Weapons
I will allow you to have a few weapons. Up to two can be taken. Make them as sci fi as you want. Limitations do apply.
Rules regarding these:
1) Laser weapons always need time to charge. Always give me a reasonable amount of time.
2) Don't combine lasers with blades and regular lead bullets. This is way too overpowered.
3) Try not to get too detailed so it becomes 18+.
4) NEVER hurt another person on purpose with these weapons. This will result in exile.
5) Ammunition exists. Unless it is a melee weapon or laser weapon, you should only hold around three magazines of ammunition with you.
6) I will deem if the weapon is just in general too strong and tell you.(It can tear through armour easily, has a ridiculous amount of charge gained per second, etc)
Allegiances:
Leader
Alex Grian - NPC
19 years old
A nonbinary person. Referred to as they/them. Has shoulder length brown hair, hazel eyes, and stands at 5'7. They wear the same outfit which is leggings, a brown t shirt, and then a bandana that is grey. Often ties up their hair. Weighs 124 pounds. Darker skin.
Alex is usually fair and never is cruel to their group. Exiles will suffer though. They often stay cool headed, and most of the time end up winning figts. A strategist, Alex will usually think about every angle, to the point where it is obsessive. Often having to be perfect, they get stressed about that easily.
Weapon: Laser rifle
Three bent prongs act as the barrel, and open when it is charging. It just naturally recharges as most weapons, though it helps to out it in UV light. Is steel and looks basically like a hunting rifle otherwise. Takes time to charge up the shot, and is better at longer ranges. Cannot break through armour alone. charges about 10% every day. Ten days to fully charge, but leaves very vulenerable spots in the armour.
Second in Command
Fianna Kane - @aetherwyvern66
17 years old
A decently tan skinned girl. Fianna has almost accusing ocean blue eyes with chin length coral brown hair. It is almost pink in some lighting. Her jaw is often set in a grimace. Standing at 5'6, she is weighed in at 110 pounds.
Usually very fierce, Fianna is rather fearless, as she doesn't know what is good for her. Reckless, often she takes after her name in older Irish, warrior. With a lot of unhappiness, she's also very serious most of the time. She has a weakly accented voice, sounding slightly Irish. She can be rather neutral if relaxed. Doesn't have the best aim.
Weapons:
-Laser Rifle
Modeled rather rounded, this weapon is mainly normal, except the fact that you can sometimes see it glow blue at the barrel. The barrel is actually made of tungsten due to the laser abundance. Cannot damage armour. Recharges 5% every three hours ish, so it takes 60 hours to fully charge again. Each shot takes around 15 percent.
-R-301 Diarnine
This is a lead bullet gun. Fires in bursts of five, and looks very similar to an AK-47. Can do numbers to unarmoured parts. Clip size: 26
