Mine is probably a tie between Dawn of the Clans and The Prophecies Begin.
I enjoyed Dawn of the Clans a lot because it was like a breath of fresh air to me. New plot, new characters. It was a nice change of pace from the other books. But then, there's also The Prophecies Begin arc that I enjoyed because I enjoyed many of the characters from them, and it is the original arc. It is what started the series that we have read.
I want to know what you think, though. Which one(s) did you enjoy the most?

I think many people would disagree on me with this but my favorites are Omen of the Stars and The Prophecies Begin. I loved Omen of the Stars specifically because of Ivypaw and Dovepaw. I loved them both a lot, even if Dovepaw is sort of op. I also liked bringing the dark forest back for an epic battle!
I also really love The Prophecies Begin because of the cats. Like, background characters had some personality and especially friends. I know it’s hard to give every cat a personality, but at least make them speak once in a while. I constantly forget that half of Thunderclan exists because of how boring they are nowadays. Back then I knew and loved them all.

I will say that I did enjoy getting more insight on what's going on in the other clans during A Vision of Shadows.

That’s was fun too, since I don’t really like Thunderclan expect for a couple of characters.

We need more like that, where we get chapters where they are set in the different clans. I barely know some of the characters from other clans because they seem to be just fillers and we don't get any time with them.

TPB/the first, original arc is probably my favourite. Granted, I haven't read anything that came after OoTS. But TPB will always be special.
To the fourth-grade me, finally checking out Into the Wild at the library after seeing it on the shelf for so long was a nearly magical experience. Everything just felt so solid and well-structured in the original arc.

My favorite will always be the very first arc. I also did like the book about Mapleshade.
I haven't read past the Starclan-Dark Forest war arc, so I can't speak for anything past that.

I have not read anything that would've taken place in between Dawn of the Clans and The Prophecies Begin, aside from Bluestar's Prophecy. I don't know who Mapleshade is. I know of her, but I've never personally read a book with her in it.

I really didn’t like the book about Mapleshade. It feels like it wants to justify what she did.

thats what i look forward to the most, I really want to read the stories between DotC and the prophecies begin but I just don't know which books they are XD at one point I was going to make a fanfic story about how the clans evolved after DotC... only to realize there were already books about that haha

I understand that. I don't really remember much about the plot of everything, but I will say that the book stuck out to me not as a justification but as an explanation, where the message we should get out of it is that villains have depth too, but their actions are still evil.
Something like that, anyway.
