Alphonso regretted thinking that his two friends from childhood and respected warriors would capture a kid, luring him in with sweets. “Leave out the part of where you lured the kid with cookies.” He joked with a small grin but the chief seemed to be thinking of this possible bandit situation. “But most definitely tell him about the bandits, those people can be just like pesky bugs.” Carefully wording on how to describe bandits, sometimes they can be disorganized and out of control or organized and deadly.

Nils Devereux
He nodded, and walked to the bakery, smiling. "Hi muffin boy," he said, and leaned over the counter to kiss him. "I found something!"
Leif Devereux
He sighed, having gone through this a million times, and smiled, leaning on his hands on the counter. "What was it this time," he asked, in mock disappointment.
Nils Devereux
"Well Saoirse and I were walking, and we heard a noise," he said, drawing it out as long as possible while he enjoyed Leif's expression, "and sitting by the tree was a kid!"
Leif Devereux
He visibly paused for a second, before blinking, and reiterating slowly, "you found a child by the side of the road?" Nils nodded. "You've outdone yourself," he said humorously, though smiling. (timeskip sounds good to me now Lily~Myth Shadowrunner)
A boy named Zane is found and brought back to the tribe, the child claims that he was originally from a far off land and taken by bandits here. The bandits in question are known to those outside of the Tribe as the Les Raiders Rogues aka The Red Raiders, known for leaving nothing and no one behind in their raids- normally targeting trade routes and treasures of high profit and value. Now this rugged band of thieves has turned their sights on the Tribe. A major feat and boon in their feared reputation and wealth if they managed to defeat them. However, the Tribe has persisted longer and survived worse than what these pesky bandits plan. If anything, these ‘Red Raiders’ will simply be a lego in their shoe.
Starting the next day, the morning weather is cool and crisp. Sun is slowly starting to rise and with it the heat. Another grueling summer day. (Bandits will not outright attack the camp, they’ll just be a mile out from camp, as of right now it’s a waiting game and the bandits are seen as a nuisance)
Alphonso Dimas
There was a time in his life when he would be snoring away, deep in sleep and curled up within the blankets. But he found an even better way to get up in the morning, once getting dressed and walking out the door- he sidetracked back in to grab a set of bagpipes with a mischievous glint in his amber eyes. A grin spreading across his face as he walked out from the house. The at first blinding light of the new day and the cool air had made him falter for a moment but the chief continued on with this important task. Which was, as he stopped at the crossroads and sat himself down on a bench. He began to play the bagpipes, a strange instrument that played beautiful music- often he enjoyed playing them in either wide open areas or in the mountains. Great practice but can scare the living pants off people, the deputy at the time was no exception and for a time the rest of the tribe thought the mountain to be haunted by a screeching ghost.
Zane
The young boy having gotten a proper bath, meal, clothes and a place to stay all within one day was completely and utterly knocked out. Tangled up in the blankets and drool dripping out from his mouth, he was in heaven. Also the members of the tribe he had met so far were nice and cool-looking, more so the ones with scales. He was safe, he didn’t need to run and hide nor constantly look over his shoulder. This much needed rest and the exhaustion of the past month- nay, years was finally catching up to the young child that he slept through the bagpipes playing.
Finley Aspenfield
Finley was already awake, sipping on some coffee at Elder’s Rest and only looking up from her book to hear the sound of bagpipes. “Oh dear, he’s at it again…” sighing a little as the man had always been like that since he picked up an instrument, particularly when he was a young flegdling at the age of thirteen had woken the entire camp up at dawn- naturally was chased around by disgruntled warriors and fledglings. Nothing got past this elder’s attention and wind of a young child being found, had not personally looked into it just yet and simply letting the child rest. “Well if he wakes up that young kid I’m going to smack him upside the head.”
Saoirse Mayson
Saoirse was asleep at her station in the smithy, sitting at the table with her head resting on her arms. The workshop was surprisingly clean which of clutter, everything had a place and she knew exactly when something was missing. Although the grime and occasional dust attached to places, even more so when she was working in the building but she always kept her space clean for the next task. Yet again she had been working late in the night but it was fixing Nils sword that was on the verge of breaking, now it was looking new as ever. “Wha time is it….” She grumbled in her sleep as she thought she heard the sound of bagpipes but slumped back to sleep at her desk.

Leif Devereux
"Blast him," he muttered, pulling a pillow over his head." He glared blearily towards the window. "You'd think my sleep schedule'd just get pushed earlier but noo..."
Nils Devereux
He laughed, and pulled on his armor. He had some things to do today, at least one of which was checking to see if Saoirse had finished work on his sword. Being a knight, he was an expert in all weapons, though he had taken a particular liking to the longsword. He picked up a spear that was leaning against the wall, and said goodbye to Leif as he used it as a walking stick to walk outside.
The chief kept playing the bagpipes, keeping the music at a steady rhythm as he saw tribe members exit their respected dwellings. About half were shooting him a glare while the other half were just grumbling, all in all a great way to start the morning but he was ready to dodge if a flying object was sent his way. Did Alphsono forget they had a new kid in camp? Yeah… but no complaints as of yet. He spotted out of the corner of his eye that Finley was out of the Elder’s rest, he continued the music but softened it just a bit as all good things must come to an end…. Plus he didn’t want to be chewed out by someone who was the unofficial parent of the tribe.
(I can imagine when Al started doing this music wake up call for about a onto straight, Leif finally snapped and chased him up a tree while saying words [lol] and being held back by Nils who’s trying to keep a straight face but also laughing)
Finley Aspenfield
Finley left the residence to greet the new day, slowly shuffling along with the cane in one hand and the trusty book in the other. The rumors about the kid had spun around like wildfire, the accent and seemingly non familiar of the dragonfolk had raised some questions, those were politely quieted down to not overwhelm the young boy and they would learn more as the days progressed. For now…. These ‘bandits’ might be more than just ants in pants, they might be a hive of bees….and there’s the bagpipes, perhaps we could give them Bearclaw- we’d have mornings to sleep in and the bandits gone the thought made the elder snort in amusement, but they would never give up a child like that as a sacrifice.
Saoirse Mayson
Saoirse was still asleep at her station but was going in and out of sleep, the smithy itself was isolated to help keep the temperature stable which meant the sound of obnoxious music being played was drowned out. She would jolt up whenever she did hear a sound out of place, once finding out it was nothing she just slumped back down on the desk. Naturally a warrior in need of their fixed weapon would find her and wake her up, or drag her out by the horn to get fresh air.

(Sorry if I’m not very active recently! I just started a gacha club (an app that a lot of people use that’s sorta hard to explain lol) youtube channel so Ive been working to make more stuff to post on there.)
Samantha Kumochi
Sam groaned, “let me sleeeep” she grumbled trying to pull her blanket over her head to block out the noise but it didn’t work. “Come on Sam it’s time to wake up” she heard Cami say, and, although unwillingly, Sam eventually got out of bed and got dressed. Cami got dressed too, and the two walked out of the fledgeling lodge. Sam parted ways with Cami and headed toward the place Alphonso would be playing his bagpipes. Sam saw her mentor and walked up to him, “y’know why can’t you wake us up with your guitar instead of your bagpipes huh? Maybe I’d wake up a bit quicker then.” she said.
Camella
Cami decided to stop by the hatchery to check on the boy she had heard about from the others of the tribe. She passed Finley outside the Elders Rest and greeted them. “Good morning Finley, how are you?”
Alphsono let the bagpipes stop when he noticed the fledgling pop up in his vision, taking a moment to catch his breath from playing nonstop. “The guitar was yesterday, today is bagpipes. I’ve got to change things up once in awhile.” The man explained with a small shrug of his shoulders with a grin plastered on his face and leaning back onto the bench, the instrument moved from his lap and to the side. “Also it gets boring playing the same thing over and over again, maybe I’ll yodel tomorrow!”
Finley Aspenfield (Shadowrunner)
“Oh? Good morning Camella! I am doing quite well and How are you? Heard you had an awful scare yesterday.” Finley greeted the young girl with a smile and stopped in their steps. The elder leaned a little on the cane for support, mostly the strong carved wood was mainly used in support for walking long distances but lately had begun to use it in daily rounds- also for self defense as it happened to have a blade hidden within.

(definitely, lily xD)
Nils Devereux
He stepped outside, waving to those outside, and then turned to the camp's exit. He worried for Saoirse, sometimes when she had a project she would stay up all night without thinking. Nevertheless, it would be good to have his sword back again.
Leif Devereux
Eventually he sighed, and climbed out of bed, and after a moment headed outside. Standing just in the exit to their home, he surveyed the general area, half-heartedly attempting to track down Al, and maybe deliver a piece of his mind.
Saoirse Mayson (~Goldensplash~ Leif made me cackle I- I mean Al, enjoys music mornings)
Slowly the warrior was waking from her slumber when she heard birds chirping from outside, “Go away or you’ll be roast chickens…..mhm….chicken….” She grabbed her right shoe and promptly through it out one of the small open windows, accuracy being fairly accurate as she missed the birds, only scaring them to fly off somewhere safer and hitting its mark which a training dummy. Like a set of dominos the dummy wobbled by the impact then returned to its previous position, the warrior herself slumped back down.

He jumped a little at the sight of the flying shoe. Well, I guess that emans she's awake, he thought to himself. He walked over to where the shoe had landed, picking it up and walking into the smithy. "Hi Saoirse- I think- I think you dropped this," he said, laughing a little. Lily~Myth
The warrior woke up when she heard footsteps entering the smithy followed by a voice, her left hand had slowly wrapped around the handle of a dagger but lessened when she realized it was friend and not foe. “Morn’ Nils…” She yawned and standing up from the desk with a small creaking sound from her back, sleeping on the desk was not very good for the back but hey, work’s gotta get done somehow. “Dropped, thrown- same thing.” Wiggling her right foot’s toes and stretching her arms a little bit. She had an ‘aha’ moment and taking the sword carefully from the work desk and presenting it to the warrior. “How about a trade, both handcrafted but I would say your sword is more of a masterpiece.” A smile on her face despite the soot that layered her face like a mask, her silver scales barely shimmering in the light. She could tell almost everything about a person by their weapons and armor, which Nils certainly lived up to being a knight because he took proper care of what he owned. Although, even there were things that needed mending from others like healers for the injured- she was one for her craft.

“please don’t” Sam muttered, “And you played guitar yesterday but I couldn’t hear it all the way from the fledgeling lodge” she said grumpily; “Anyways what are we gonna do today?” she asked
Camella
Cami nodded, “I’m doing good” she said, “Also yesterday I heard that there was a kid found wandering around and that he was taken back here, is he awake? I wanted to check on him to see if he’s sick at all” Cami asked. it'll do us no good if sickness starts spreading in the tribe she thought

He smiled, taking his sword and handing her her shoe. "Thank you so much," he said, sheathing it into a sheath at his hip. Since he thought it might be done, he had brought the sheath along just in case. He paused, looking to his spear. "I suppose two weapons are double the- ... weapon." Having confused himself he looked back to Saoirse. "I think you need to go to bed, you look like you haven't slept at all."
Iris Holland
She was awake before Al started playing, as she had gotten up quite early to paint the sunrise. Finished now, she paused to survey her work and laid her paintbrush aside. She often used expired herbs to make paint, that way they wouldn't go to waste, as she was very interested in maximizing the use of energy. Lily~Myth
The chief only smirked as yodeling had been in his mind for a couple of days now, but he didn’t want to be murdered by a certain baker anytime soon. “For today we will be going to Pecan Woods for some hunting and tracking.” Alphsono stated with his grin wavering only slightly as if he was worried about something but it disappeared and kept with his usual cheery deamnor, “We’ll have to border the area too, so let’s try to avoid any mountain lions okay?”
Finley Aspenfield
Finley smiled as coming face to face with any predatory animal was scary, especially if you didn’t know much about the creature in question. “The boy? I only know what you do dear, He should be in the Hatchery- in a sectioned off area for now-“ the elder’s response with a smile but their eyes suddenly trailed over the sprout’s head to see said-boy in question exiting said-building without a caretaker. Most likely having evaded their attention, “Well looks you’ll get your chance Camella.”
The warrior happily took her shoe back and putting it back on her foot, “Anytime, it was an honor to restore the blade.” The blacksmith took a cup from the table and taking the cover off, protecting the drink from contamination which the hot tea had gone cold but she gulped it down anyway. Has it really been that long since I made this? she thought and looking down at the cup, the drink had been slightly bitter in taste but she quickly turned her attention back on her friend. “I slept! Just not in a bed…..”
