Nils Devereux
He sighed, smiling. "You need to take better care of yourself, though I would like to say that the sword is perfect. I've held onto it for long enough I just don't want to let it go yet. Anyways, I supposed I'll leave you to sleep. There's a border to patrol!" He turned to leave, and stepped out the door back into nature, and out onto the path.
Leif Devereux
After a moment of looking around, Alphonso happened to catch his eye. "Hey, Bearclaw!," he said, semi-playfully, and made the "watching you" motion with his fingers, and though lighthearted, he sighed, before starting to head down to the bakery.
Iris Holland
After a moment of reflection she stood, and made her way down into the path. She waved hello to Leif as he passed, and headed to where she could see her apprentice sat conversing with Finley. "Good morning," she said, nodding her head towards both elder and apprentice, "how are you all feeling?" She had a habit of saying "feeling" instead of "doing," perhaps a bit of lingo from being a healer that stuck with her after being said so much. Lily~Myth
The warrior simply shrugged with a tired smile, “I’ll try, happy hunting Nils.” With a wave of her hand which her plan was to head back into camp, get some rest or coffee… whichever came first. She hadn’t pulled an all-nighter like this in awhile so her health and sleep weren’t all that bad yet, what Saoirse was worried about besides the possible bandits in the area was of a certain elder catching wind of this. She counted more times how she was dragged out by the horn by Finley or due to the scholar’s aging body had other Warriors drag her sorry rear back to a proper bed and meal.
Alphsono Dimas
Alphonso saw Leif and simply laughed the baker’s ‘watch you’ motion of hands, giving a thumbs up and having a kind of face that said ‘good luck with that’. (I know this is short, also waiting for Shadowrunner. // I loved this dynamic and this rp)
Finley Aspenfield (Shadowrunner)
“Good morning Iris! I am doing quite well, and how are you doing Dear?” Finley replied with a smile and leaning a little on the wooden cane, always having the habit of calling everyone ‘dear’ regardless of their rank. No one knows where the term came from but the look on people’s faces in the beginning was said to be quite hilarious. Everyone seemed to be interested in the child that came to the camp yesterday, naturally as the past weeks had been uneventful and quiet. Anything new was like honey to these bees, although it would be up to the child to tell them his story.
(I’m debating on if I should have Zane waiting in the bakery as Leif walks in or something and being like: *has a mouthful of some desert* Hi. *swallows* you must be the cookie master Leif, Nils and Saoirse told me, can I have more?” )
"Hmm...my favorite memory? I have too many to count, but i guess, it would be the memory of meeting all you and making friends here on the forums. :3" ”One day I’m going to sit down and make a list of all the books that I finished reading....” “It's going to be a long list...”

(i am so sorry, this thread has stopped giving me notifications and it just shows as read even when it's not)
Iris Holland
She smiled. "I'm doing very well! I woke up early to paint the sunrise this morning, and it was very worth it. You've seen many beautiful sunrises, I'm sure."
Nils Devereux
He waved again, and turned back to the camp to put his spear away. Soon he entered the camp, passing Leif on his way to their home. He laid away his spear and then returned back into the wilderness to watch out for the bandits.(yess that's perfect xD)
Zane had sneaked his way out of the hatchery and into the bakery, following both his nose and from what he saw yesterday if the camp’s layout. It was always good to know where food was at, the exits and good places to hide. Naturally while he did trust these people, it was out of instinct and to be honest it was curiousity that brought the kid to explore. He grabbed a piece of sweet bread from one of the lower shelves and started to eat, only pausing when he saw the door to the bakery open. “hm?”

Leif Devereux
He paused, looking at the child with his eyebrows raised. "Hello? Your name is Zane, right?" He smiled, watching the child eat. (short reply but it's fine)

(Sorry I wasn’t on this week I had to travel to go visit family I’m back now!)
Samantha Kumochi
“Ok! I’ll go get ready” she said, and went back to the fledgeling lodge to get ready, putting on her light armor and grabbing a bow and arrow (Idk I’m assuming they use those too lol I mean its supposed to be good to practice with other weapons too, this is the first thing I thought of lol) Putting a quiver full of arrows on her back, she walked back out and went to the entrance of the camp to wait for Alphonso for them to go.
Camella
“ooo, can I see the painting?” she asked her mentor. She had always liked art and loved seeing other people’s drawings and paintings to get new ideas for what to draw.

Iris Holland
"Of course," she said. "Would you like to come with me to see it or should I bring it out here for the both of you?" Her tone was almost sheepish, mostly due to Finley. Having grown up with them as a role model, Iris tended to revert back to her more shy and respectful ways. Lily~Myth
The boy swallowed what he was chewing before answering the man, “Yep and your…. Leif the baker, Nils and Saoirse told me about ya.” Like the knight the baker seemed nice, and like him was apparently dragonfolk. He was still getting use to their fangs and dragonmarks- but they were so cool, unlike whatever he has seen before. “You made the great cookies that they gave me, could I have more please?” Zane asked with bright eyes shinning, yes he might be pulling the puppy dog eyes a little but he had some fruit for breakfast so technically he did eat something healthy beforehand.
(I feel like the bakery is like the place where everyone goes to drown their ‘sorrows’ with cookies and telling the baker wants wrong. So like Zane is gonna like tell Leif everything while getting a sugar high lol)
Finley Aspenfield (Shadowrunner, ~Goldensplash~)
“I can go to see it, after all I have to get my steps in.” Finley chuckled with their eyes twinkling, always proud of every accomplishment made by fellow tribe members. From warriors with their craft to the fledglings trying out different interests, most of the time they would wait till becoming Warriors to pick and even then it could be months or years into their warrior rank they finally settle. Becoming a scholar was an amusing thought by some at the time, even then she carried around the books like she did now.
Alphsono Dimas (Shadowrunner, it’s fine! I understand )
When his fledgling left to grab their gear did he do the same, quickly putting on the light armor, getting a bow with a quiver of arrows and a small satchel meticulously organized tools they could use. Alphsono grinned to see that Sam was patiently waiting at the entrance of camp, “Let’s get going.” While the possible bandits around he would be on alert, having already told others to keep their eyes out for such threats and he couldn’t help but have a sinking feeling in his gut about it. Getting more information from the boy was crucial but… it would take time, plus the best person right now would probably be those that found him. He said a brief morning to one of the said rescuers Saoirse who muttered greetings to both of them before trudging her way back to camp. She did another all nighter, Finley’s going to have her horns for that the thought of not being in trouble with the unofficial parent of the tribe this time around, yes he did mature but he still was a snotty kid at times- his morning wake up calls a prime example of it.

Leif Devereux
"Oh, of course," he said, and opened a cabinet to get some. "I'll warm them for you, right now they're pretty hard." He set them down on the counter and kneeled by the oven to light the fire within it. He made sure to close the iron-grate doors so that Zane wouldn't get hurt, and spread out the cookies on a pan on top.
Iris Holland
"Oh, right," she said, and led them to her home. The painting stood by an open window, and it was a rather faithful depiction of the sunrise, with soft oranges and yellows, and a shining sun rising over the trees she could see from her home. "I'm quite proud of it," she said, "I got the trees right."Lily~Myth
“Thank you.” Zane said politely as the boy then moved to sit in a chair by the counter, watching the baker work. The bakery when he entered it at first still smelled nice and the smell simply became more pleasant as it churned with life. When he woke up this morning he thought the events of yesterday had been a dream. Being in the bandits ‘care’ for a month had been a nightmare… even on the streets and been better. But now it was a relief to be in a heaven that smelled of baked goods.

Cami looked at the painting in awe. “You’re so good at painting!” she said, admiring every detail in the painting. Suddenly she remembered what she had wanted to do this morning, “Ah! I gotta go! I need to go find that kid who was brought to the camp yesterday!” she said, and ran off to go find him.
Samantha Kumochi
Sam followed her mentor as they walked toward Pecan Woods. “Y’know someday you should invite me to wake up the rest of the tribe, I haven’t practiced in a bit but I bet I could get out my Violin and help” she said mischievously before walking a bit ahead. Suddenly she saw movement flick out of the corner of her eye and pulled out her bow, quickly shooting a decent sized pigeon. “That should feed a few people right?” she said, picking it up by the wing.
So what do they do with the prey lol do they bring like backpacks to put it in or something when they go hunting? XD Also don’t mind me casually deciding Sam plays Violin I’ve been listening to too many Violin covers of songs recently alright XD Lily~Myth~Goldensplash~

(hey, i play violin! )
Leif Devereux
He delivered the cookies to Zane after a moment once they were warmed all the way through, and smiled. "You should eat something else though this morning," he reminded, and turned back to the fire to make sure it didn't go out. He had a bit of a knack for making solid fires, perhaps aided by a subtle bit of fire-breathing ever so occasionally if he needed one in a pinch. It was less about breathing the fire itself for Leif and more about heating up the kindling so that it would easily catch. Iris Holland
"Thank you," she said, and then laughed as the sprout took off to find Zane. "I remember when I had that much energy." She paused for a moment. "Was I a terrible child, Finley," she asked the scholar dramatically. Lily~Myth
“It’s breathtaking! You have such a talent.” Finley praised as they looked at the painting, if didn’t know the artist they would’ve thought it was painter from another kingdom. “Oh good luck finding him! Heard he’s got a sweet tooth!” The scholar called after the sprout who upon praising the work quickly made an exit, clearly wanting to make sure the child was healthy- and perhaps a tad curious as everyone was of the newest member. Finley started to laugh at the healer’s remark, “My dear! You were among the few saints among the bunch.”
(Yeah…. My first thought went to Al….. geez how did he become leader??)
Zane
Zane happily took one of the warm cookies and hummed at the taste, yeah this had to be heaven or a dream- or both he didn’t care. “I ate some fruit for breakfast, this is a mid-morning snack.” He replied back with a quip and ate another cookie but he had the sneaking suspicion that he might have to lessen his baked goods intake while he’s here. At least for now. He watched as the baker kept the fire steady. “How’d ya keep the fire like that? I’ve never seen a fire stay…. Steady like that.” He asked a question and tried to find the right word to help explain what he was meaning. Dragons breathed fire, that’s what the stories told but then again he thought they were fairy tales. But here he was in a tribe of dragonfolk, so anything was possible.

Camella
Cami heard Finley mention that the boy has a sweet tooth, so went to the bakery first to check. Sure enough when she opened the door there was a young boy eating cookies while talking to Leif. (best description of him ever lol) "Good morning Leif" she said as she walked in, then knelt down a bit to be at eye level with the boy; "And you must be the boy everyones been talking about" she said, looking at him curiously. He seemed to be in good condition but he probably did just get a bath and a good nights sleep when he got here, she had no idea how he had been when he first arrived, so she still needed to make sure he was healthy.

Leif Devereux
"I've done it a lot," he said, "and I might use a little bit of fire breathing to aid me," he said, knowing it would impress the child. "Good morning, Cami." He began to pull out his ingredients for the morning's bread.
Iris Holland
"Thank you," she said, laughing a little. "I guess I should get to work." She turned and closed the window.
(sorry this was a bit late, i've been a little overwhelmed by school)
