True.
I went and stayed the night at my parents house last night. My mom said she'd had a cough. If I start coughing, then I've probably caught it.

Ah okay, that's another explanation. Hopefully it doesn't end up being that though

I don't want to jinx anything, but it seemed cooler at work today. (They still hadn't fixed the ac up to this point)

Ah okay. That's good that it wasn't super warm without the ac

I won't say it's fixed until it's been cooled off for days at a time. It has to be consistent for me to accept it, lol.
I'll be glad when it is fixed. It's been really bad. Most days I'd end up with a headache, sore throat, or both by the end of my shift. And I'd be all sticky from it being so hot. Clothes sticking to me. Not fun to work in at all.

I ban you bc yikes, that's honestly borderline inhumane. And definitely fair, it shouldn't be considered fixed until you know for sure that the problem is gone
Interesting thing to note about cars since not many people know it(I didn't until I learned it in school): when there's a bad enough fault in the system, it stops trusting engine sensors and doesn't run diagnostic tests, hence why at the end of repair orders, we always have to say "vehicle does not have any codes at this time" because once the vehicle is working again, it'll start diagnosing its systems again and will sometimes pick up on stuff it missed while it wasn't actively diagnosing itself

Yeah, management finally started at least passing out waters every so often during the day, but it shouldn't have had to come to that. Many customers were complaining about it too. Unfair, really.
I definitely didn't know that about cars.

Definitely. I'm sorry that happened/has been happening
Ah okay, I just never like to assume because then I feel like I'm mansplaining even though I'm 1: not a man, and 2: just really passionate about my special interests

I am so ready to get tomorrow over with. Not looking forward to the craziness.
It's alright. I do like listening to you talk about them. I was actually glad I had you to ask about the evap codes.
