Kestrelflower observed Minnowpaw as he stalked toward the rabbit. At first he was doing well, but then he seemed to hesitate and lose track of what he was doing. Kestrelflower sighed as she heard the apprentice's paw steps, even though he was trying to step as lightly as he could. However, she remained calm when the rabbit raced away. "Nice try, Minnowpaw. You would have caught it if you weren't so focused on how soft your stepping was," she said.
Adderpaw began to follow his mentor as Asterheart gestured for him to do so. As he walked with her, he began to wonder what battle move he was going to learn or practice today. He didn't mind what he did, since he liked learning new tricks in general. The apprentice continued to wonder what Asterheart had in store for him as he followed her. (Citrine)
Minnowpaw mumbled something quickly, which sounded a lot like 'I'msorry'. He shuffled his paws. "I was worried that my paw steps weren't light enough...."
Asterheart stopped once they reached the training hollow. "We'll do the leap-and-hold move today," she explained, flicking her tail. "I will have to demonstrate that with you." Her eyes met Adderpaw's as she meowed, "Try to get close to me."
Poppyclaw picked the herbs up that Ivypaw had left behind. Whatever it was that she had been feeling, a medicine cat had to remain calm and composed. Running off like that in a hurry was also a noble trait, but once she was on her own, it would just stress her out. He padded back towards the camp with the herbs, noticing the commotion as soon as he entered. Appelblossom was getting her kits, then. It made sense. Setting the herbs down inside the medicine cat's den, he padded back over to the cats. He glanced at everything that was laid around. Everything needed was already in place, not much more they could do to ease the pain.

(Okay. I only asked because most clans don't have cats with the same prefix. I guess it's okay as long as we don't have the same suffix)
"It's fine, Minnowpaw. There is no need to be so hard on yourself about it," Kestrelflower assured him. "Why don't you try again, and this time step lightly without worrying about it too much?" she suggested. A second try usually led to more confidence, at least that was the way it was for her. The more she had failed, the more confident she became about the succeeding the next attempt she made.
Adderpaw listened to Asterheart's instructions. When he was instructed to try to get close to her, he obeyed. The apprentice slowly, yet not too slowly, tried to approach his mentor. He got kind of nervous about what was going to happen as he drew nearer and nearer, but the nervousness faded away, as he felt confident that his mentor was not going to hurt him with the move. After all, this was just a demonstration. (Citrine)

Minnowpaw frowned, then nodded, relived. He had thought that Kestrelflower was going to scold him. Scenting the air, he smelled another rabbit a bit farther away. Crouching, he stepped towards it, willing his thoughts away. The rabbit looked up as he got closer and Minnowpaw froze, heart hammering in his throat. It looked away again and the young tom crouched lower, leaping a second later. He landed a bit clumsily, but still hooked his claws into the rabbit while stumbling. Before he could even overthink it again, he quickly snapped its neck. Letting out a relieved breath, he picked the rabbit up, carrying it towards his mentor.
Asterheart's eyes wandered to the left as Adderpaw neared to confuse him. The moment he got close enough, she tensed her muscles, leaping towards her apprentice. She aimed for his back, smirking a bit to herself. Holding onto him without claws would be hard, but not impossible. (✞~Spottedleaf ~✞)

Shatteredfang got up and decided to take out a hunting patrol. He looked over at the fresh-kill pile. It was getting low. He padded over to the warriors den and looked in. "Anyone up for hunting?" he called.

Kestrelflower observed Minnowpaw as he made his second attempt to catch the rabbit. From what she noticed this time compared to last time is that Minnowpaw seemed more focused on the prey than anything else, which was good. It was better to step lightly without really thinking about how lightly you're stepping, Kestrelflower had thought, and she had seemed to be correct according to how Minnowpaw was doing here. She was pleased when she saw her apprentice break the rabbit's neck, and she felt even more pleased when it fell limp before him. "Well done, Minnowpaw!" she praised.
Adderpaw had somewhat expected Asterheart to jump on him, but he still hadn't managed to dodge the blow. However, it didn't seem like he was supposed to dodge it, since the point of this was to demonstrate the move. How would the demonstration work if he didn't allow the demonstration on him to happen? After being pounced on, he felt a tight grip on his back from Asterheart holding on. Despite the fact that she had her claws sheathed, she seemed to still hold a firm grip on him. Even so, Adderpaw made all attempts to gently shake his mentor off his back. (Citrine)
Lilycloud had been resting outside of the warriors den when Shatteredfang had called out for cats to join him on a hunting patrol. She willingly got up and padded up to the deputy. "I'll go," she volunteered with a dip of her head in respect for her deputy. The white she-cat smiled a bit as she had said 'I'll go.' (oenomaus)

Ivypaw nudged the borage closer to Appleblossom. "This is right, right, Poppyclaw?" She was nervous, and though she should have known, and did, she forgot in her fear that one of the kits or Appleblossom would die. She muttered encouragements to the queen, hoping that the queen would have a successful birth, and that her pain would ease with the herb.

AppleBlossom let the stick slide from her mouth as she gulped down the herb, then let out a painful, mournful wail before biting down on the stick again
