So yes, PETA hates Pokémon! I was ranting about how silly PETA is and my cat jumps into my lap purring, I know, funny right? That tells me that cats don't want carrots, and by the way does that PETA Pokémon game take internet? It would be funny to play! Also, PETA has alot of games about killing animals, ddoesn't it?

Ohhh... It's on your browser, but I recommend that you do not play them. They're actually quite graphic; I mean, not the most graphic thing out there, but certainly graphic enough to provide a link. If you really wanna play it just google "peta pokemon" and it should be the first result or something.
Pokemon absolutely does not in any way condone animal abuse - they're not even real animals. They're made-up, fantasy creatures. They also demonize the pokemon trainers. PETA has also made some parody games that are "pro-animal" but like... All those games are parodies of children's games anyway (like Pokemon.)
tldr PETA is gross

I came up with a great joke! Bring some pictures of carrots being peeled with some pasta sauce on them to the leader of PETA!

frankly PETA is just a terrible organization in general. don't they use a lot of gross stuff in their advertisements? like sexism and such. and gore. often, i think they lie about what actually happens to animals. like, shearing sheep. usually the shears are gentle, right?
that's not to say that there ISN'T animal abuse, which i think is pretty bad in itself.

Does that mean milk doesn't hurt baby cows? I didn't want to get this from PETA so I looked else where.

I'm not an expert by any means, but no, I don't think milking baby cows necessarily hurts them. In fact, I was under the impression that it hurt dairy cows more to not be milked, because regardless of whether you milk them or not, they continue to produce it. I guess it'd be like having to go to the bathroom really bad, but not being able to. It would just build up until health problems arise.
Keep in mind that what I say probably doesn't include cows in the industry, where who knows what goes on.

Oh, I thought that you had to take away the calf to get milk, so I went fron vegetarian to vegan.

As I said, I'm not 100% sure on the process of milking cows or calves- that's something you would want to look into yourself, from reputable sources (meaning that I would suggest looking for informational articles that show the process, as compared to looking into articles from vegan sources, which might offer a biased outlook.)

based on literature i've read i'm pretty sure it's healthy to have cows milked due to milk buildup, like fruity said. i don't think milking adult cows hurts them at all, but i'm not sure about calves being taken away. frankly it's more logical to keep the calves around anyway- cows are used for beef, after all, aren't they? plus i'm not sure what exactly dictates milk production but having babies definitely is part of it.
i personally am vegetarian, but that's only because i have this thing with textures in food, that has somehting to do with tic disorder.
