We can. The real question is, will we?
Anyway, anyone else experiencing this glitch?

Hm. I’m not quite sure, but it seems like the forum only counts a new post for every message thread (or whatever it’s called) instead of every actual message. So if 4 new posts were made on 2 threads, then it would only count 2 posts. If you get what I’m saying here?..

It counts the threads, not posts, Silent.

We all knew that, Silent, but I am personally used to having up to 10 threads to respond to all at once.
Edit: that's what Silent just said, Gray.

Again for me it counts one thread even when there isn't one
and when I do get threads it's counted so that when there are two PMs, it says I've received three When I check the two the 1 is still always left over when there isn't anything

No, it just adds one when there isn't one; I'll just take a screenshot EDIT: or two

When that happens, just select them all, mark them as read, refresh, and mark them all as unread. That should fix it.

After you select them, go to Actions and click mark as read. Repeat that when you mark them as unread.
EDIT: I got this backwards. Before you mark them as read, mark them as new.

Did you read my edit about marking them all as new first?
