Mai almost dropped the taiyaki as she heard an agonized scream. She set down her UN-eaten snack and rushed towards the agonized person, pushing through the throng of people until at last, the person was found. It was a first-year with long pink hair, and her pale arm was twisted at an unnatural angle. Broken. She rushed towards her and helped her up. "What happened?" She asked with gentle concern.
Yuki saw the girl come up to her. "I-I broke m-my arm!" she said whimpering. She couldn't get up, not even with the girl's help. She was paralyzed by pain and fear.

Masaru couldn't hear the scream above the ruckus of the crowd, and so then walked on without a care in the world, chomping on the taiyaki. "Mmmm, chocolate." He murmured, chewing a piece of the pastry in his mouth. He curled a bit of his pale green hair over his ear and trotted into the roar of the crowd as Mr. Yamaguchi entered the arena in his box. He didn't come every year, so this was a special time for the students. He took a seat quietly, but found that Mai was nowhere to be seen. The seat beside him was left empty.
Kouki looked up suddenly as he heard a scream above the conversations circulating amongst the crowd, turning his head and searching for the source of it. Who could ignore a sound like that, anyways? And who would be injured before the exhibition matches even began?! They must've been idiots to be that stupid..he frowned, debating whether he should get up and investigate. The nurses would probably arrive soon once someone reported it, and with this many students around and that high-pitched of an sound, he doubted that would be long. He looked forwards again towards the Arena, settling for sticking around where he was, but curiosity still nagged at him, as well as irritation towards whoever it was. He sighed, leaning back in his seat.
(Your characters are very cute, but for your two females is there a chance to change their ranking? In order to even out the amount of characters on every level I had closed off the first and top three ranks yesterday. ;v; I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but I'll go and add in your male character!)
Umm.. okay. Then my first female will be an Emu. Csn you accept Chiryuu when its evened out?)

(Sorry, late, would've responded if I hadn't suddenly had a stomach attack a few hours ago.)
"Yikes! Somebody should be coming soon, I believe." Mai said, hoping not to touch her broken arm. She had suspected that was the problem, but actually having it confirmed made her extremely worried, more than she all ready was. "Are you hurt anywhere else?" She asked gently.

Yuki shook her head to the side and back for a no. She was wimpering and had scratches all over her. The pained girlnlooked around a bit by moving her eyes back and fortg., not being able to make much out as the pain made it hard to concentrate.

“…and we are hoping that each and every one of you will enjoy your year at Yamaguchi Gakuen Kumikyoku. With that said, the contestants for this year’s exhibition match are… Eagles, Yvonne Parker and Katashi Nanase!” A deep, humble voice could he heard through the loudspeaker. An aged man stood alone in a large center box seat, which Katashi recognized as the one and only, Mr. Yamaguchi. The boy with snowy white hair turned towards Yvonne, who looked excited. They didn’t have anything planned for this match, but he hoped for them both to leave a good impression on the school for the first year pigeons, anyway. He wasn’t afraid to lose. “You ready?” were Katashi’s final words before Mr. Yamaguchi held up the starter pistol. His eyes were bright with anticipation, his hair and scarf ends swaying in the dull autumn breeze. A brave smile was painted on his face, and he quickly braced himself for the start.
Yvonne took out her neat loops of hair and let her long hair swing down to her waist. With nimble fingers, she tied her hair into a pony-tail, strolling out onto the arena with charisma only a fighter can have. She also slipped off her combat boots, dropping them to one side. She shrunk two inches, but remained reasonably tall. She felt more comfortable battling barefoot, and no one complained much about it. She observed the boy with amusement. He looked so excited. "As ready as I'll ever be, I suppose." She said simply, adjusting her wraps once more and setting herself into position. "Be flashy." She reminded, and the starter pistol was fired. Yvonne waited quietly, leaping back a little, feet nimbly meeting the concrete. Normally, she'd let her opponent get one of her crystals with ease to throw them off, but Katashi knew her too well. With a burst of fire and a mysterious smile, she activated her power. Her hands glowed like newly heated iron, and her gauze alit with a roaring blaze. Though she didn't have the heart to actually burn Katashi (all that much, at least), crystals were heat and cold sensitive, if she got near enough, she could crack them all. She spun around, the flames growling in her ear, and leapt up into her float ability, preparing for his first attack.
Katashi had always prepared for matches. The sheets of canvas paper were rolled up and stuffed in his shoulder bag along with the many sandwiches he regretted putting away before the match. Immediately after the pistol was fired, he brushed his fingers across a sheet sticking out of his bag and flung it up towards the air, activating his ability. A white light flashed as the yellow paint flew off of the sheet and morphed smoothly into a long blade. The now blank page was blown somewhere off the arena’s stage, but he didn’t really care about that at the moment. Wanting to try something different from his usual style today, he wielded the blade, holding it to the side of him. His posture seemed as if he were preparing for a sprint.
Yvonne watched amusedly as he grabbed the long sword, seeming rather amused by her kind childhood friend carrying a weapon like that. He stared at her challengingly and she smirked back at him, half-jokingly. "You're going to kill me?" She teased, flying past, shiny gold crystals circling her head tauntingly. She lowered herself to the ground, getting into her starting position. "Let's dance."
“Of course not. I’m not that kind of person,” Katashi smiled coolly, his eyes following Yvonne’s every move. She wasn’t often hard to read, and his guesses were accurate most of the time, anyway. He knew the girl was letting him steal the first move, waiting impatiently as she lowered. He complied, moving quickly. As soon as she had descending and her feet had barely grazed the ground, he had already vaulted over her and struck through the first crystal, feeling gleeful as he heard the shattering effect of her delicate crystal. Speeding to the other side of the field, he licked his lips as he stood, knowing she’d probably get serious soon after. Katashi brought out and slipped a small sheet of paper loosely into his jacket pocket, somehow knowing he’d use it soon after.
Hearing the twinkling chime of her crystal shattering, Yvonne frowned at her friend. “I see.” She said darkly, pouncing backwards against the barrier of the battle area, and reactivating her floating power, harboring a large fireball between warm hands, her gauze giving its last bursts before dying out into blackened char tightly wrapped around her forearms. It would regenerate later, anyway. Giving the fire a quick blow and twirling it around two fingers, a faint green hue began to seep into it. She was somewhat above his head when she let the flame fall gently, floating to the ground, slowly picking up speed until it crashed. A turquoise ring of fire appeared around the rapidly growing flame, surrounding Katashi. After flickering for a couple more seconds, it exploded in a rain of glowing sparks and a roaring fire, quickly disappearing, but knocking Katashi up against the dome wall. Most of her flame was used up at this point, but she could most definitely shatter his last feeble crystal with what was left of her ability. She dropped down to the ground, rolling into a somersault before glancing up at the quickly recovering opponent.
