GROUNDCLAN *NEW* (Home of the Underground Cats)

INTRO: 

You trot along the woods happily. You had just eaten a good meal and you don't want to ruin this moment. You come across a large trench and walk inside it. Faintly, you hear a sound. Was that....digging...before you realize it, it's too late. The ground below you collapses due to your weight. You mewl in surprise as you are buried down three feet underground. Dirt and dust fall on top of your head. You give a pitiful yowl. So much for that moment. You hear movement above you and after a few minuets a head pops up where the hole that you fell in was. "Hey! Are you okay down there?" A voice called from the cat above you. You manage to choke out an answer, though your mouth is full of dirt. The other cat lowers a paw and manages to pull you out of the gaping hole. Both of you wheeze and gasp with exhaustion. Were you THAT heavy? The other cat straightens themselves up in a noble stance. "Hello, I'm terribly sorry for what happened. My name is Dirtstar. I'm the leader of...well....Groundclan. You must've fallen into one of my warrior's tunnels." he stated with a tiny smile. You smile politely back. This clan cat was certainly nice. "I didn't mean for you to fall into one of them. This trench is usually guarded. I have no idea where my patrol ran off to." he sighed. "Anyways, how can I make it up to you? I deeply regret any injury that you received from that fall. I have a good medicine cat." He said with a chuckle. You nod slowly. This is all very interesting. Slowly, you draw in a breath and say: "Can I join Groundclan?"

RULES:

-No god-modding or short posts. Express yourself.
-Please, only warrior cat swear words.
-Please stick to traditional pelts. Rainbow colors are very outlandish, so please avoid them lol
-Groundclan is a clan...well...underground. Cats learn to dig through tunnels and create burrows. YES there might be an event someday where we have a cave-in, but don't get your hopes up yet 
-Rouges, loners, and kittypets are not common and rarely every travel anywhere near Groundclan territory. I won't limit how many there can be, but I would prefer if you avoid making these types of cats.
-If you are wondering about the 'Patrol Group' in the Intro, surprisingly they are...DOGS. Yes. Dogs. However, the Dog Patrol has one leader and listing only up to ten other dogs which I will allow you to create as a limited character for a limited time. After that I will take the dog form down and you can no longer make any more dogs.
-All dogs have single word names. (Like Sun, Wind, Apple, etc...)
-All Petalclan cats are named after flowers. (Like Daisy, Petunia, etc...)
-If you plan on making any cats with a 'beautiful' pelt or want them to be 'flawlessly pretty', I'm afraid it probably won't be for long because they'll be digging.
-Renegades or traitors are not allowed. No one likes it when a likable character betrays the clan   We would miss them terribly!
-You are allowed to request an apprentice to mentor if you'd like to

TERRITORY:

Groundclan is located inside a trench. There are wall caves, but overall there are mainly underground tunnels.

Tunnels:
Tunnels are key to Groundclan. They use them to travel everywhere. However, there IS a small base above ground that defends the clan's Trench. The Defense Patrol (The Dogs) stay above ground and patrol the borders of the trench. The Patrol obeys their leader, and the leader obeys Groundclan's leader.

Above Ground:
Above Groundclan are dens that are in the walls of the trench. They are used mostly by the Dogs Patrol, but some warriors stay up there to monitor things.

On the left side of the trench are Warrior dens. On the right side of the trench are Dog Patrol dens.

Petalclan- a clan of only females. This is a she-cat run amazon clan. They aid Groundclan whenever they possibly can. They are not fond of toms, but they WILL tolerate them. They owe Dirtstar for saving their lives a long time ago, when he sheltered them underground from a flood in their territory. They are also put in command to the Dog Patrol, under Dirtstar's instructions. Petalclan's has once met a tom named Falcon Development . The story goes untold, but is rumored that the tom lives in his own territory far away from Groundclan.

GROUNDCLAN (UNDERGROUND):

Leader:
Dirtstar- a musky brown tom with barely visible dark brown splotches all over his fur. He has deep, hazel brown eyes and a white-tipped tail. He is 35 moons old. He is responsible and strict when he needs to be. He does, however, have a slight childish side to him. He is very outgoing and cares for all of those who are kind, even loners, rouges, and kittypets. He isn't very fond of rude cats, but will respect their rights. He never wants to hurt anyone and tries to avoid violence or blood shed. If he could, he would mentor a apprentice to success. His son is Smallpebble.

Deputy:
Vincent- A yellowish tan tom with a slightly white face and deep, darker yellow stripes. He is 30 moons old and is very loyal. He has a serious, yet witty and humorous attitude. He is positive and independant. As a former kittypet, he had tred across Groundclan territory with his mate and father and befriended Dirtfur as a warrior. His family was allowed to join the clan, but moons later his mate died while giving birth to his son Sunkit. He has stayed in the clan for many moons on and went on to be deputy as his friend Dirtstar became leader.

Leafstorm- a light gray she-cat with white specks on her back. She has very bright green eyes and is 20 moons old. She is caring and very sweet. She will treat anyone and anything regardless of their status, species, or other qualities different from cats. She is willing to teach an apprentice anything and encourages other cats to do their best even through tough times. Her little sister is Dahlia.

Softpaw- A pale brown tabby she-cat with occasional white flecks and blue-green eyes. She is 8 moons old and is very concerned about the well-being of other cats, giving her an early motherly and nurturing instinct. She's also especially friendly but has her common times of seriousness. She can be rather shy and inward at times, but she tries to reach out when most needed. When she's very fatigued (which can happen rather often) she might accidentally snap at others, catching them off guard. She feels she is very weak at times, especially because of her common tiredness and lack of energy.(Hollyleaf ღ )

Smallpebble- the smallest warrior in Groundclan. He is 26 moons old and was recently promoted as a warrior. He is a white tom with a light brown tail and ears. He is stubborn and snaps a lot for his size. He is mature and acts very unlike his image. He is very stern for a majority of the time, but he is kind. He is the son of Dirtstar.

Berrystone- He is the largest warrior in Groundclan, quite opposite from Smallpebble. He is a light gray tom with black specks all over his body, limbs, tail, and face. He has dark gray eyes and is 39 moons old. He is very strong and acts much like a father figure to many kits and apprentices, sometimes to warriors as well. He is persistent when he has his mind set on a certain goal. He is a very good mentor and many apprentices usually wish to have him.

Lynxspot- A reddish-brown she-cat with long fur and a entire white underbody. She has spots all over her pelt, tufted ears, a bobbed tail and overall large size that makes her looks a lot like a lynx. Her eyes are a greyish blue. She is 28 moons. Lynx is very dedicated to making the clan better in everyway she can, from raising her sister after their parents died to hunting prey and patrolling that has caused her to become pretty unhealthy. She rarely sleeps and has a short temper. Her sister is Patchpaw.(Reed )

Applewood- A reddish-brown she-cat with light peridot eyes. She is 27 moons old and has a very bushy tail and pelt. She is kind and very responsible, which helps because she takes her job very seriously. She is very much a force to be reckoned with and is very quick on her feet. She enjoys being around the kits and talks often with the queens. She would've been a medicine cat if her combat skills didn't overwhelm her medical knowledge.

Shadowpaw- A pitch black tom with deep yellow eyes. He is 12 moons old. He is silent by nature, and he spends his time in the apprentice den. He is quite anti-social, but he can speak to others only if they speak to him first. He always seem to have a dazed sort of attitude and very laid back. He doesn't pay attention for long periods of time. He doesn't disobey his leader or superiors though.

Patchpaw- A bright ginger she with white paws and several splashes of black and red all over, one black patch over her eye has a white around the edge fading into the ginger is the most strange. She has bright green eyes that are thought to be part blind which is true, as she can't see to her right. She is 11 moons old. Patchpaw was always a lucky she-cat, which caused her to eventually get a little dependent on herself and only her. She doesn't believe in teamwork but will strike up a conversation often, not being afraid to go up to anyone and talk. She can't make decisions and will ask others before making them, taking account of all answers and summing them up. She is a good at debating and will often win arguments. She is scared super easily. Her sister is Lynxspot.(Reed )

Grasspaw- A dark brown tabby tom with green eyes. He is 9 moons old. His nose always seems to be covered in grass stains. He has a lighter brown spot on his right forepaw. He's a bit arrogant and loves showing off. He is competitive, goofy, a bit awkward around she-cats, can be somewhat of a know-it-all, and calls everyone mousebrain no matter their rank.(fanfictionmachine🦄 )

Leafpaw- Light brown tabby she-cat with bright green eyes. Her tail is tipped white. She is 9 moons old. Leafpaw is a genuinley caring cat. She enjoys helping others and serving her Clan to bennefit it. She's always willing to talk to to others and to make new friends. She is Grasspaw's sister.(Wolfheart )

Queens/Kits:
Shrewfoot- A large red-brown she-cat with deep forestry green eyes. She is 36 moons. She has spiky yet rather short fur and long tufted ears, along with a long tail. A stripe runs along her spine with swirls of tabby markings coming from it to her underbelly. Her tail-tip is white. She is fairly unpredictable when it comes to chatting but straight forwards otherwise. She loves the cold and the feeling of water flowing though her fur. If she ever developed a crush, she would be cool yet harsh towards them. She is pregnant with kits.(Reed )

Sunkit- A small, white kit with yellow splotches all over his pelt. He is extremely playful and loves nature. He is often very clumsy on his paw and dreams of becoming a deputy like his father. His mother died while giving birth to him.

He is often very snappy and never in a really good mood. He expects a lot from his son and grandson and doesn't hesitate to point out their flaws. Others don't like to be around him, but he secretly enjoys the company of other even if he doesn't say so.

Bone- a 4 year old golden retriever with hazel eyes. He has a black spiked collar. He is very manipulative, but obeys Dirtstar regardless. He doesn't tolerate any misbehavior in his patrol pack. He will not hesitate to punish any of his pack, but he takes great pride in them and praises them often. If there's one thing he loves, it's fresh deer meat.

Ruby- a 3 year old long haired brown/orange dachshund with brown eyes. She is very sweet, but cunning. If you comment on her body, she'd probably tear you apart. She is very good friends with the Groundclan cats and doesn't argue with any of them.

Striker- a 3 year old English foxhound with the traditional brown, black, and white markings. His eyes are dark brown, and he's slightly tall for his breed. He's capable of running very fast, although he's not as good a tracker as some of the other dogs. He does his best to keep situations light and playful, but he knows how and when to get serious if it's called for. He respects and trusts those of greater authority very much, and would follow his leaders to the ends of the earth and back.(Clearsky)

WhiteLotus- a pure white she-cat with light gray eyes and is 32 moons old. She is very strict and stubborn and doesn't take 'no' for an answer. She highly has expectations for her clan and is very grateful to Dirtstar. She is willing to help Groundclan no matter what the cost. If there is any signs of betrayal in her clan, she will toss them out immediately. She does NOT like toms, but she WILL tolerate them.

Dahlia- a light ginger/cream she-cat with a white underbelly and amber eyes. She is 22 moons old. She is very silent and doesn't talk as often. When she does, it's usually when she's explaining treatment methods or healing a cat. She is shy and doesn't like socialization very much. If she every fell in love, she'd hide away and not speak at ALL. She is very intelligent and knowledgeable. Leafstorm is her older sister. If she is too comfortable, however, she will fall asleep where she is.

Orchid- a soft gray color she-cat with dark gray points. Her chest and belly are creamish-white, and her eyes are light amber. She has fairly long legs and a long tail, and her fur is short but soft and fluffy. She is 14 moons old. She's very shy and doesn't talk much, if at all. She gets uncomfortable around crowds, and always sits slightly away from the group at any sort of meeting. She cares a lot, and worries a lot, and although she doesn't really have any friends, she loves everyone in her Clan- and in GroundClan, and in the Dog Patrol- very much.(Clearsky )

Venusflytrap- a crabby, rude, and snappy she-cat with yellow/cream fur and amber-hazel eyes. She is 35 moons old. She is very temperamental and hates all toms and kits. She absolutely detests socializing with toms and small, annoying kits. If she ever had to deal with a kit, she'd leave it behind to die if she could. She is very cruel and some rumor that she has psychopathic problems.

Cherryblossom- a sweet, lovable pure black she-cat with blue eyes and is 40 moons old. She was found pregnant and alone by Dirtstar and offered as a clan member for Petalclan. She has so far loved her life in the clan and thus never intends to ever leave. She is always mumbling, so not many cats can understand her. She speaks VERY softly, so kits tend to be very comfortable around her. She is a 'never leave a cat behind' kind of cat and cares very much for the well-being of others. She is mother to Rose, Tulip, and Chrysanthemum(deceased). Her youngest daughter Chrysanthemum died from Green cough.

Oliver (Beech)- Oliver is 25 moons and a massive( possibly Maine coon or Bengal blood) long furred brownish-grey classic tabby tom with dark stripes. His eyes are pale green orbs that sparkle with excitement most of the time. The giant tabby's paws, muzzle and a small dash on his chest are white while is tail is dark, almost black. He is hyper and energetic through a through, clambering up trees and curtains then rushing around the area chasing something. He is also incredibly likely to get in trouble. While those may be correct, he would never leave some one behind and is loyal through and through. It's rare to get on his bad side, but when you do...Nevertheless he loves kits and one day wants his own.(Reed )
