Snakepaw finally dropped his posture, waiting to hear what his mentor had to say about his demonstration. The other's seemed to have done just fine, save for a little uneasiness in balance. He licked a paw and secretly watched Winterpaw in admiration.
Nightstreak padded over to Oakstorm. "May I join with you? I'm not doing anything at the current moment, and I'd love to stretch my legs." he said with a smile.

(I would greatly appreciate it if you would tag me when you need a reply from me, as I might miss it.) Oakstorm heard Foxstar ask him if he wanted to join him and the apprentices for climbing practice. He didn't have anything better to do, so he figured why not. It was better than sitting around the camp not doing anything. At least this way he might be able to make use of himself. Besides, Oakstorm wanted an apprentice of his own, and he was more than ready for one, given his age and experience. Maybe going along would give him an opportunity to show that. "Sure, Foxstar," the grayish-brown tabby replied once he gathered his thoughts. Turning to Nightstreak, he also nodded. He wouldn't mind the company. He was in one of his good moods, after all. Otherwise, he might have preferred to be alone, but that wasn't the case at the moment. Nothing had happened to set him off. ( thesilverpelt, OlivertheOblivion)

(( oh, sorry DXNightstreak sprinted alongside Oakstorm and Foxstar, hoping to get some fresh air. There was only so much you could do cooped up in a camp with nothing but waiting for patrols. (( ✞~Spottedleaf ~✞

Foxstar dipped his head to the others. "Glad to see you all came, we're practising climbing today. I thought we'd try the Great Oak." He looked up at the grand tree. "Don't go too high, stick to the bottom branches. I want to see what you can do first." He leapt up onto a branch, the climbed a little higher. He was now a little way up, but it was safe if he fell down. "Come and reach me," he looked down on the other cats.

"Aw darn....climbing..." Nightstreak smiled and followed his leader. He wasn't as good at climbing as he was with normal combat. This often put him at a drawback, though he didn't mind since he didn't climb a lot anyway.

Winterpaw glanced straight at snakepaw. "That was great!" He purred. "You barely made a noise, snakepaw." He added. He had been silent himself and had done better than snakepaw in the hunting, but he still felt like he had to compliment the other tom.

Foxstar smiled as Nightstreak reached him. "Come on guys, you're missing out. You can see over the the trees from up here!" He jumped a little higher and clawed up. The view really was amazing. The two down on the forest floor looked tiny.
Puppet silently watched the apprentices. She turned to Sootpelt. She nodded at the leaves and nodded over at the forest. She got up and began to go that way.
"Come on, we're going hunting for real now. Try to catch me some mice and a squirrel," he headed after Puppet.

Oakstorm hurried along and followed. He approached the base of the tree, and he sunk his claws into its trunk. Then, he began to climb up. The grayish-brown tom was large, so he wasn't the greatest climber. His strength wasn't the problem, it was his lack of agility. However, that didn't stop him from the activity. He was decent enough at it.

Winterpaw followed, keeping up with the group. His long tail just flicked slightly as he darted sure-footedly over the leaves.

Puppet stopped a little way into the forest. She flicked her tail deeper in the forest. Go and hunt, she thought.
Poppy paw nodded and bounded further into the forest. She would catch a squirrel today.

Snakepaw lifted his head and followed along, padding quickly as possible to help hunt for real this time. It wasn't hard, considering how average he was at hunting. Nightstreak gripped at the bottom of the trunk, working his way up with his claws. He was a huge, bulky tom, and he highly doubted that he could lift his own weight against the ground. 'Well, I suck big time...' He thought with a chuckle to himself. "How are you holding up, Oakstorm?" He called to the other. (( ✞~Spottedleaf ~✞Pumpkinkit stalked outside slowly, passing the herb carefully as she was afraid of it. She hissed a tiny little hiss and scratched at it.

Do Dapplesky and Tigerstrike have apprentices?)

(Dapplesky mentors Nightpaw)
Poppypaw caught scent of a squirrel in a tree. Got you, she thought. She slowly climbed up and was a step away from the squirrel... and her tail brushed on a leaf, that fell down and crunched. It ran and leapt out of the tree.
Puppet leapt up beside her apprentice. She dropped into a hunting crouch useful for hunting squirrels. The one that Poppypaw had used was good for birds. She nodded and leapt down to see how the other apprentices were doing.

Winterpaw noticed her squirrel leave, and he almost immediately gave chase, catching it without a sound. He was without a doubt one of the best hunters. "I got it!"

Snakepaw silently sat down, watching them hunt for themselves. They seemed to be handling themselves just fine, so there was no need to do much. He sniffed around, the scent of another squirrel was nearby. He stalked low as he approached the scent. Once he could see its tail in view he crouched down lower. Then, he darted forward and grabbed it by the neck, instantly killing it by biting down. He licked his paw as he sat up and stared at the prey.
