INTRO:
You trot along the woods happily. You had just eaten a good meal and you don't want to ruin this moment. You come across a large trench and walk inside it. Faintly, you hear a sound. Was that....digging...before you realize it, it's too late. The ground below you collapses due to your weight. You mewl in surprise as you are buried down three feet underground. Dirt and dust fall on top of your head. You give a pitiful yowl. So much for that moment. You hear movement above you and after a few minuets a head pops up where the hole that you fell in was. "Hey! Are you okay down there?" A voice called from the cat above you. You manage to choke out an answer, though your mouth is full of dirt. The other cat lowers a paw and manages to pull you out of the gaping hole. Both of you wheeze and gasp with exhaustion. Were you THAT heavy? The other cat straightens themselves up in a noble stance. "Hello, I'm terribly sorry for what happened. My name is Dirtstar. I'm the leader of...well....Groundclan. You must've fallen into one of my warrior's tunnels." he stated with a tiny smile. You smile politely back. This clan cat was certainly nice. "I didn't mean for you to fall into one of them. This trench is usually guarded. I have no idea where my patrol ran off to." he sighed. "Anyways, how can I make it up to you? I deeply regret any injury that you received from that fall. I have a good medicine cat." He said with a chuckle. You nod slowly. This is all very interesting. Slowly, you draw in a breath and say: "Can I join Groundclan?"
RULES: -Falconstar's rules everyone -Please....just...no gary-mary sues.... -No god-modding or short posts. Express yourself. -Please, only warrior cat swear words. -Please stick to traditional pelts. Rainbow colors are very outlandish, so please avoid them lol . The closest outlandish eye color I accept is a reddish-brown, which is technically red. -Groundclan is a clan...well...underground. Cats learn to dig through tunnels and create burrows. YES there might be an event someday where we have a cave-in, but don't get your hopes up yet -Rouges, loners, and kittypets are not common and rarely every travel anywhere near Groundclan territory. I won't limit how many there can be, but I would prefer if these types of cats are limited. -If you are wondering about the 'Patrol Group' in the Intro, surprisingly they are...DOGS. Yes. Dogs. However, the Dog Patrol has one leader and second commander. Only one dog per roleplayer please. -All dogs have single word names. (Like Sun, Wind, Apple, etc...) -All Petalclan cats are named after flowers. (Like Daisy, Petunia, etc...) -If you plan on making any cats with a 'beautiful' pelt or want them to be 'flawlessly pretty', I'm afraid it probably won't be for long because they'll be digging. (unless they are in Petalclan, which in that case is still not allowed because that'd be making a Gary-Mary Sue) -You are allowed to request an apprentice to mentor if you'd like to -If you read the rules, the password is in the Territory list. -If you can provide a picture of what your cat looks like then please do give me the link ^^
CLAN RULES: -Groundclan cats dig burrows as homes. There are rumors that they have descended from another ground burrowing clan. -Petalclan she-cats are forbidden to have mates with toms, but females are acceptable. In order to keep their ranks high, every month they send one she-cat to Groundclan to mate with a tom and stay in their Nursery. After the kits are born they take all the females suitable to join Petalclan. -The medicine cat in Groundclan is not allowed a mate, but a she-cat in Petalclan is allowed only one mate in her lifetime. After that she is not allowed to mate again. -It is possible for Petalclan she-cats to join Groundclan, but not the other way around. -Apprentices can be chosen by the leader or requested by warriors. -Unlike traditional clans, Petalclan does not adopt the ‘paw’ or ‘star’ suffixes for apprentices or leaders. They are born with the name of flowers as their full name (ex: Petunia, Wallflower, Azalea) -If the deputy in Groundclan dies, it is possible (though rare) for Petalclan to allow their own deputy to take the pervious Groundclan deputy’s place until the leader chooses a new deputy. -All dogs have one word names. It is impossible to the dogs to join Groundclan or Petalclan ranks. However, the dog patrol can send their smaller dogs to help dig the burrows. -if you have more suggestions for clan rules please let me know :3
TERRITORY:
Groundclan is located inside a trench. There are wall caves, but overall there are mainly underground tunnels.
Tunnels: Tunnels are key to Groundclan. They use them to travel everywhere. However, there IS a small base above ground that defends the clan's Trench. The Defense Patrol (The Dogs) stay above ground and patrol the borders of the trench. The Patrol obeys their leader, the code word is 'Dirtclaws', and the leader obeys Groundclan's leader.
Above Ground: Above Groundclan are dens that are in the walls of the trench. They are used mostly by the Dogs Patrol, but some warriors stay up there to monitor things.
On the left side of the trench are Warrior dens. On the right side of the trench are Dog Patrol dens.
ALLIES: Petalclan- a clan of only females and a she-cat run Amazon clan. They aid Groundclan whenever they possibly can. They are not fond of toms, but they WILL tolerate them. They owe Dirtstar for saving their lives a long time ago, when he sheltered them underground from a flood in their territory. They are also put in command to the Dog Patrol, under Dirtstar's instructions.

GROUNDCLAN GROUNDCLAN (UNDERGROUND):
Leader: Dirtstar- a musky brown tom with barely visible dark brown splotches all over his fur. He has deep, hazel brown eyes and a white-tipped tail. He is 35 moons old. He is responsible and strict when he needs to be. He does, however, have a slight childish side to him. He is very outgoing and cares for all of those who are kind, even loners, rouges, and kittypets. He isn't very fond of rude cats, but will respect their rights. He never wants to hurt anyone and tries to avoid violence or blood shed. If he could, he would mentor a apprentice to success. His son is Smallpebble.
Medic apprentice(1/2): Dusty- An approximately 38 moons large, handsome dark brown tom with striking hazel eyes. He has black paws, underbelly, and ears. He is a very prideful tom and acts slightly arrogant. He does have a good heart deep down, which stretched from his love for his son Silverpaw. He is wise and doesn’t share that knowledge often. He believes in taking advantage of situations that further heighten one’s ambitions. He used to be a leader of a large rogue group that committed many crimes and felonies. He is very intelligent and can think quickly in tight situations. He is also good at negotiating, which stemmed from his time as the rogue leader. He has a soft spot for young toms that remind him of his son. His arrogance and pride can often cloud his judgement. He is quick to accuse or to suspect others. He is careful and weary about trusting others. He is only moderately strong, and favors using his wits than claws. After some strange event he disbanded his rogue group and traveled alone. He seemingly disappeared for a long period of time, resurfacing some time ago. He can speak in Italian (rarely does though).(OlivertheOblivion )
Warriors: Smallpebble- the smallest warrior in Groundclan. He is 26 moons old and was recently promoted as a warrior. He is a white tom with a light brown tail and ears. He is stubborn and snaps a lot for his size. He is mature and acts very unlike his image. He is very stern for a majority of the time, but he is kind. He is the son of Dirtstar.
Berrystone- He is the largest warrior in Groundclan, quite opposite from Smallpebble. He is a light gray tom with black specks all over his body, limbs, tail, and face. He has dark gray eyes and is 39 moons old. He is very strong and acts much like a father figure to many kits and apprentices, sometimes to warriors as well. He is persistent when he has his mind set on a certain goal. He is a very good mentor and many apprentices usually wish to have him.
Goldenmane- A 20 moon old light Golden tom with an extremely fluffy "Mane" of fur around his neck that tends to bother him when he's digging or in the tunnels in general. He has heterochromia and has one yellow eye and one yellow-green eye. He is strong and loyal, but not the most strategic when it comes to fighting, and because he is so fluffy, he is horrible at swimming. He is VERY flirty and tends to make eyes at Petalclan cats.(Moonstar )
Rockshine- A 38 moon old silver pelted tabby with dark gray,almost black, stripes coursing like veins across her pelt. She has light gray paws, muzzle, chest, stomach, throat, and tail with the dark gray/black leaving thick, black stripes on her tail. She is rather small for her age, and has blue eyes. She is very brash, harsh and sarcastic. She doesn't take any nonsense and barely shows anything but aggression to others. Its very hard for her to get close to someone, but if someone does they'll learn that she is actually just a big sweetheart, who has had so many heartbreaks and losses that it has warped her mind in thinking almost everyone is out to kill her. She has a son named Tigertail and a daughter named Luckpaw, who ran away.(❄🐾Luna🐾❄ )
Tigertail- An 18 moon old dusty ginger tom with a pale muzzle, throat, belly and front-toes with black stripes that fade out the closer to the belly it gets. He has greenish blue eyes and a very scarred and torn pelt. One of his ears is half-way torn and he is half-way blind in one eye. He has thin, sleek fur just like father as well as a muscular build like his father. He is a very laid-back tom, who is pretty lazy yet pretty strong when needed. He is a wonderful fighter, but an awful hunter and rather clumsy. He is an honest cat, who doesn't like telling lies. He, like his mother, is not that hard to anger, especially if you compare him to his father. There is one secret Tigertail keeps, he had Luckpaw run away to escape her father.(❄🐾Luna🐾❄ )
Apprentices: Shadowpaw/Duskpaw- A 7 turning 8 moon old pitch black tom with deep yellow eyes. He is silent by nature, and he spends his time in the apprentice den. He is quite anti-social, but he can speak to others only if they speak to him first. He always seem to have a dazed sort of attitude and very laid back. He doesn't pay attention for long periods of time. He doesn't disobey his leader or superiors though. He has a strange personality complex and has two sides of himself, one that is silent and shy and the other angsty and rebellious. He rarely ever allows his rebellious side out, which he called 'Duskpaw'.
Plumeriapaw- A sweet 7 moon old pinkish and white she-cat with greyish green eyes. She used to belong to twolegs who thought it would be "funny" to dye her fur pink. She ran away from them and met a she-cat from Petalclan. She stayed with them and joined as an apprentice. However, she didn't believe she fit in. She thought they wre too strict about rules and violent when fighting. One day though she met the Groundclan cats and became friends with a tom. She grew to like him as a good friend and decided to join Groundclan as an apprentice, and became a Groundclan apprentice to be with her friend. She is bossy, but only when it is truly necessary. She believes in "get going, and get moving", and always wants others (and herself) to push themselves to do their best. Her old Petalclan name was Plumeria.
Elders: Bradley- A 45 moon old tom with a ginger, yellow pelt with white streaks and amber eyes. He is the father of Vincent and grandfather of Sunkit. He is often very snappy and never in a really good mood. He expects a lot from his son and grandson and doesn't hesitate to point out their flaws. Others don't like to be around him, but he secretly enjoys the company of other even if he doesn't say so.
Mindstep- A 70 moon old dark gray Tom with aging specks on his fur and nose and failing yellow eyesight. He is wise and kind he greatly enjoys telling stories to all his clanmates. WIP (💫Fallenstar💫)
GROUNDCLAN (ABOVEGROUND): Dog Patrol:
Leader: Bone- a 4 year old golden retriever with hazel eyes. He has a black spiked collar. He is very manipulative, but obeys Dirtstar regardless. He doesn't tolerate any misbehavior in his patrol pack. He will not hesitate to punish any of his pack, but he takes great pride in them and praises them often. If there's one thing he loves, it's fresh deer meat.
Patrol: Nanook- An approximately 1 1/2 year old Chow chow (German shepherd cross). She is very tough and is afraid to show any weakness because she Ghinks that her pack will scorn her for that. She will put on a brave face no matter what. She is decent all around but is very bad at socializing and often keeps to herself.
Queen/Head Warrior: WhiteLotus- a pure white she-cat with light gray eyes and is 32 moons old. She is very strict and stubborn and doesn't take 'no' for an answer. She highly has expectations for her clan and is very grateful to Dirtstar. She is willing to help Groundclan no matter what the cost. If there is any signs of betrayal in her clan, she will toss them out immediately. She does NOT like toms, but she WILL tolerate them.
Mages(Medics): Venusflytrap- a crabby, rude, and snappy she-cat with yellow/cream fur and amber-hazel eyes. She is 35 moons old. She is very temperamental and hates all toms and kits. She absolutely detests socializing with toms and small, annoying kits. If she ever had to deal with a kit, she'd leave it behind to die if she could. She is very cruel and some rumor that she has psychopathic problems.
She-Warriors: Waterlily- A 21 moon old silver tabby. On the outside, she is very independent and doesn't really like toms all that much. Actually, she has built an emotional wall around herself. There was a cat in Groundclan she loved, who died about 8 moons ago. She believes she will never love again. Yet, she is still reachable by the right cat. She is extremely loyal to Whitelotus.[img src="
She-Warrior Apprentices: Bleedingheart- a sweet, reddish tabby she-cat with hazel eyes. She is shy, but loves to socialize with others. She tends to fall in love with many toms, thought she doesn't intend to...she just....does. She is a big crybaby and is timid to say the least. If there's one thing, she loves hanging around other.
Maidens(Queens)/She-Kits: Cherryblossom- a sweet, lovable pure black she-cat with blue eyes and is 40 moons old. She was found pregnant and alone by Dirtstar and offered as a clan member for Petalclan. She has so far loved her life in the clan and thus never intends to ever leave. She is always mumbling, so not many cats can understand her. She speaks VERY softly, so kits tend to be very comfortable around her. She is a 'never leave a cat behind' kind of cat and cares very much for the well-being of others. She is mother to Rose(✞~Spottedleaf ~✞ ), Tulip(Open), and Chrysanthemum(deceased). Her youngest daughter Chrysanthemum died from Green cough.
ROUGES/LONERS/KITTYPETS(Very rare): Indigo- a light grayish-indigo she-cat with orange/amber eyes who is a kittypet. She is 20 moons old. She is very kind and sweet, but often curious. She isn't very social, and tends to be awkward to talk to. Regardless, she is the sweetest cat that has ever lived. She will not be rped often.
Luckpaw- An 18 moon old rogue she-cat who is very short like her mother, but does stand slightly taller then her. She has long, puffy, jet-black fur with big, bright green eyes. She looks a lot like a new-apprentice, but she is the same age as a full-grown cat. If you look close enough you can see very, VERY faint gray toes on her. She is a very sad and lonely she-cat, often saying it was her fault that her father became evil and it was her fault that her mother nearly died from him. She, ironically, has very bad luck and often finds herself falling in holes and missing prey she tries to catch. She isn't very good at much, but she is great at tracking and digging. She really misses her clan and hopes she can find the courage to face them again. She is demisexual, meaning it may take a while for her to like another cat back.(❄🐾Luna🐾❄ )

((it is forbidden for any petalclan she-cat to have a mate with a tom, but no Groundclan isn’t just made of tom , it’s just like a normal clan. I do allow forbidden love though :3 accepted Moonstar
I'm not really wanting to join this, it seems really unrealistic for cats and dogs to live together. It's just not what would happen.)
((thats alright :3 it may be unrealistic but it’s not impossible. Dogs and cats can get along fine. It all about the beneficial merits each group would get. Cats can provide for the dogs in many ways and the dogs can help protect the cats. I’d list other factors but I’d be wasting your time. Btw, I’m having some trouble figuring out what to do in Oceanclan. I know it’s about cats that live in water and on islands but I’m kinda losing ideas on striving the plot with my characters. I’m just not as used to having cats swim as a way of mobility as I am with cats running through the woods.

She has copper-colored eyes. Personality: Rosepaw is a very friendly, yet reserved, she-cat. She is kind and gentle, which makes her generally easy to talk to and make friends with. Rosepaw's shyness might make her seem dull or uninterested in a lot of things. However, that is usually not the case. She might especially seem this way if she is busy or stressed. He has medium-lengthened fur that is dark brown in color. He rarely pays attention to how dirty his pelt is, considering he lives in a clan that spends their time digging underground tunnels. Therefore, his fur is often very dusky and muddy. Oakclaw has yellow eyes. Personality: Oakclaw is an ambitious, but very loyal tom. He is determined and always tries to find ways to get what he wants, sometimes even going to extreme measures to do so. Because of that, some cats may see him as reckless or too brave for his own good. However, Oakclaw cares little about what others say about him, and he carries on despite what they might say.
Even though Oakclaw might seem reckless, he is not stupid. He knows when to be careful, and he always tries to stay alert of his surroundings. Additionally, Oakclaw makes sure he is prepared to fight. He has always had a strong passion for fighting, and he often feels that fighting is the only answer to his problems. Despite that, that doesn't mean he isn't ever merciful. He wouldn't dare harm a kit, for example. However, he usually won't hesitate when there he senses real danger.
Oakclaw's loyalty to the clan is his main reason for always being willing to fight. He wants to protect his clan in any way possible, even if that means throwing himself into a fight that shouldn't even happen. He sees that as loyal, as a way to keep his clan safe from harm's way. Also, he is undeniably loyal to those he cares about. Some might question his loyalty to the clan when it comes to protecting his friendship. However, it doesn't come to that too often.
Speaking of friendship, Oakclaw doesn't befriend just anybody. He has to make sure whoever wants to befriend him is actually going to be worth his time. That doesn't mean he is flat out rude or unlikable toward others, though. He is respectful and tries to be tactful as long as he is sure whoever he meets is not going to harm his clan, his friends, or himself.
