Cypress groaned, pulling herself to her feet with a short cough, stifling any sign of exhaustion with a tired glare at the male behind her, mouth squaring to throw a fury of really rude remarks, before she simply sighed and held her tongue, much too tired and paranoid to fight. Her side burned, and looking down she could see a little bit of blood smeared on the tile below from the earlier wound. "Come on." She hissed, turning away as she strolled back toward the others quickly, glancing back periodically. She made a few short steps across the floor, only to freeze at the door. "Longpaws." She snarled, ducking back from the door.
(Huskies are in general smaller than a German Shepherd. Also, what season/weather would you say it is?)
Shadow-M-NAID/Wolf-(Random strays)
Shadow shook out his coat, fluffing it up against the cold. The buildings would offer some protection against wind, but they needed to find a more sheltered area before winter came. It would be even better if that place was away from other dogs. Just as the thought crossed his mind, he heard the barks of some newly formed stray pack as they quarreled over dominance. If they came any closer, they would have their minds made up for them.
Asha-F-NAID/Wolf-()
Asha slept curled up near her brother, dreaming of hunting rodents with other dogs.
Kai Maikoh-F-Tamaskan-()
Once the hole was big enough, Kai Maikoh crawled down in, not bothering to dig it further. If she stayed still, maybe the humans wouldn't notice her? It wasn't a very hopeful idea, but better than continuing to dig down to figure out when the fence stopped. Most of the dogs outside had been rounded up and she could only hear one dog fighting back.
Dragon-M-American Alsatian-()
After assessing all the damages to the rooms, Dragon walked back to the main entrance to his building. He let out a sigh, it wasn't if those doors had really done much to stop coyotes and other things from getting in. Who knows, maybe the small shards of glass scattered all around the outside and inside of the formerly glass doors and windows would convince them to stay away? It would also make it hard for the humans to return. Oh well, humans knew how to handle these things and they would when they came back.

~I am the one River To Stars~ Lol, time zones suck, don't they?) Also I'm pretty sure a regular Husky couldn't pick Squirrel up, he's an adult mix breed between some pretty big dogs, so uh, yeah.)
Shusie-- Shusie is sleeping Herder-- Please don't be long.. She worried that her son wouldn't make it. Squirrel-- Squirrel followed Cypress with a groan. "You know I don't want to be here!" He grumbled. "You could say to my mother I died! So I could run away, not have to deal with the pack..." He was hoping he could annoy the Beta so much she just let him go off on his own. "Being in a pack is worse than being a Leashed Dog!" He snarled, hopefully that angered her. "Just let me go... I'm gonna run off again, you know that, also I could handle myself out there! Look, I'm not a fighter but my mother is so I could use her skills." He huffed. "You're making a biiig mistake putting yourself through all the effort to bring me back! I'll make sure of it!" No, he wasn't very convincing.

Hrafn - River to stars, C H I Y O Hrafn saw the dogs and motioned to him. "Join us, youngster. She padded off and heard steps behind her.
Vixen - River to stars Vixen had to leave and get out from under the leaves with Flicker. She saw Hrafn and asked her what had happened. She said that she tried to get a dog to join them. Vixen and Flicker rambled about the dangers of that. She grunted and was ready to kill. Hrafn also said, "Vixen, Flicker, remember our parents? They died. To longpaws. We have no point of not getlting more dogs against them." Vixen couldn't argue with it.
Cypress [female, White German shepherd] Cypress froze, still peeking through the door at the longpaws. From this angle, she couldn't't see Kleel or Herder, and she wasn't sure whether or not that was a good sign. Squirrels new found (not really, she distantly thought, he'd always been this pathetically whiny) complaining was quickly making a tense situation worse. Had it been any other time, Cypress would have done exactly as she always had since he was younger. She would have snapped at him, mocked him endless to the chagrin of her Alpha, or, on her amused days, huffed at him in silent laughter. Today was not a good day. Instead, Cypress found herself gawking at him- questioning how a dog that could claim he could survive on his own somehow lacked the common sense to be quiet at such a precarious time. Longpaws were just past the crack of this door! Cypress bunched her shoulders, golden eyes practically burning a vibrant color in their intensity as she wordless marched straight for the younger dog, sitting in front of him and raising her front paw, shoving it in his face abruptly as she stared him down. "If you don't want to die right now, be quiet." She spoke, voice low in the light from the other room. "There are longpaws just in that room, and if you keep talking, they will hear us and come back. Just- just for a moment- stop talking about things you've no experience in, and live in the moment, yeah? I'm going to be honest, Squirrel- how chances right now are beyond scary- half of our pack is missing and we are being followed by loners- I hate loners- so why not instead of talking about how capable you are- you actually prove it to us?" She all but demanded in that low voice drenched in an obviously forced honey sweetness, gaze burning down at him as she tried to mentally visualize thunder striking him. The image didnt really do much, but at least it made her a little amused. If they hadn't been in such a tense situation she probably would've laughed about it- told Alpha and Kleel and even Lochin, if any dog would get a kick out of it, I'd probably be him. He seemed the type to find others suffering funny, Cypress thought. "Squirrel, for the sake of your mother and your life- because if we get caught from your whining I will personally break out of whatever place they are keeping me and hunt you down like the piece of meat that you are and kick your sorry behind and then when I die I will haunt you and make all your fur fall out until you really are a hairless rat who will die sad and alone." Shusie-- Shusie is sleeping Herder-- "Sorry." She huffed. "Do you have an idea on how to escape..?" She whispered, opening the door to let them in, grasping the doorknob in her mouth. to shut it when they come in. Squirrel-- Squirrel jumped over his mother's tail, inside.

Cypress opened her mouth, gaze drawing suprisingly soft for the dog, before only falling into silence. Part of her wanted to whisper how bad that idea was- she didnt know what Squirrel thought being on his own would be like- but she wanted to tell him it probably wasn't anything like how he imagined it to be. When you were alone, you did everything yourself. You fed yourself, entertained yourself, protected yourself. It wasn't entirely ad if she didn't see his point. He was young, eager to chase an adventure- pursue things without his mother and packmates over his shoulder, but Cypress wondered for the second time today if he really understood what that entailed. To go alone meant to be alone- and eventually, to die alone. The dangers someone as defenseless as him (though he probably wouldn't admit it) could get in to left the Beta feeling uncomfortable. The trouble she'd gotten into, back when she was still young and dreamed of chasing glory, finding herself by herself, before getting mixed up in stuff best left unsaid. It didn't matter anyway, once Herder came all but shoving to the door, crying about her now recovered son. "Shh!" Cypress hissed, gesturing her head in the direction of the longpaw now beginning to exit the room. "Don't let them hear you." she repeated to his mother, throwing Squirrel another warning look as well before peering over Herder's white pelt, gaze searching the room for the wolf-dog with her. Once she spotted him, her hunched shoulders relaxed a fraction, and she dipped a nod of acknowledgment in his direction. "Now, lets get out of here." she announced, glancing about at her packmates and the loners. (Jadestone, @aetherwyvern66, River to stars

The beta shook her head, peeking around. "Off the top of my head- no. While I was rescuing a certain someone," again, another pointed look at Squirrel,"I did try to scope out a little. A lot of those dogs were headed outside to escape, but they were chased by longpaws, and I'm not keen on going back in there a third time. Usually these places have a main den entrance. Normally, its pretty heavily guarded, but I have to wonder if its been left open by the longpaws during the dog escape. I say we just sneak through there." She nodded, gazing about the dogs and wolves among her. "Yes, that seems our best bet. Loners, you three take up the front, Squirrel, you behind them." The beta decided, nodding to herself again. Putting these strange dogs behind them was just a plain bad idea. No, put them in front and they'll have to worry. Nowhere to run if the longpaws do catch them, what with the pack behind them and longpaws in front. They'll have to prioritise their survival, she thought. They'd have to play nice with us for their own sake. For now. Squirrel behind them so he can't get any thoughts of running either. Now- to put Kleel behind him or Herder? It appeared the fastest way to guilt trip him into submission was with his mother, but Kleel probably had bigger presence. "hm. Power, you take up behind Squirrel, Herder you follow him. I'll be behind you." Cypress declared, staring each dog down. "Any objections?" (Jadestone, River to stars, @aetherwyvern66 lol I feel bad for these long posts xD ))
Shusie-- Shusie is sleeping Herder-- She closed the door, shaking her head. "Okay Squirrel, you heard her." She barked, pushing him gently towards the loners. Well, as much as she could. Squirrel-- "I- hey!" He decided he couldn't argue and went towards the loners.

(I thought the three loners were at their camp in an unknown location? O.o)
Kleel-M-Wolf/Dog-(Cypress, others)
Kleel relaxed when he saw Cypress return with the younger dog. He relaxed even more when the longpaws were gone. "I was thinking something similar," he said with a nod to Cypress's escape plan. As she told everyone their positions, he silently did as he was commanded. He wondered about their Alpha. Where was she right now? Was she even alive...? He didn't really want to think about his friend's body discarded somewhere or simply laying out in the open.
Shadow-M-NAID/Wolf-()
Shadow relaxed when the dogs moved their indecision away from their hiding spot in the alley. The alley wouldn't be easy to defend if they were cornered due to the tall wooden fence, but it also meant they couldn't be attacked from behind. Feeling uneasy about the sudden increase of dogs on the streets, he padded back to his sister and curled himself around her to keep her warm. No matter what, no one was going to take his sister away from him.
Hrafn - none Hrafn padded off, going to camp and washing much scent off of her fur, covering her tracks. Light steps helped. At camp, she caught a stray rabbit. They ate it and slept. (short, srry)
(( yeah I forgot they were secretly following them. xD so I guess the sneak formation goes Squirrel, Herder Kleel then Beta))
Cypress settled, pleased that everyone seemed to be in agreement. "I am so tired of this plqce." She muttered, watching Squirrel and Herder fall into place. Afterwards, she turned to the lost in thought wolf-dog. "..you alright?" She muttered, quiet from the rest. Cypress gave herself a moment to finally look him over. Nothing looked wrong, she mused. At least not physically. "After we get out of here, you're gonna need a long nap." She hmmed, trying to sound playful despite their surroundings. (Jadestone)
(In reply to post on next page: I thought the room they were in was more of an inner room area with no windows?)
Kleel-M-Wolf/Dog-(Pack)
Kleel turned to look at his Beta. "Yeah, just wondering about the others," he whispered, trying his best to keep emotion from his voice. He didn't need to worry about this right now. At her comment, he chuckled a bit at her comment. "I think you will too, though I am not sure either of us will be willing," he replied, lowering his voice at the second part, his gaze dropping to the floor as he imagined trying to find the others that had been in the pack.
