Meredith felt her heart drop as they plummeted through space and kept telling herself to keep breathing and once the ship landed did she relax for a moment. Soon some of the others started to get up from their seats and towards the entrance of the ship, in the lead was an older girl which even she got up albeit a little shaky from where she sat and followed the others outside of the ship. Oh my..... this place....so green....I wonder if it’s breathable....what is she- she thought to herself with her keeping the helmet on which her train of thought was broken when the same older girl took off her own helmet and remained not dead. ”I guess the air is safe.....” she said quietly to herself and slowly took of her own helmet with her having a small startled look on her face to feel the fresh air.
Jace Duckson
He felt like he was going to hurl when the ship was separated from the main one, he basically kept his eyes shut until the ship itself stopped moving. He opened them once the quiet murmur of feet moving and the door to the ship opening up, he didn’t really remember getting to his feet and blindly walking off the ship with the other prisoners. What the?! you gotta be kidding me.... we’re actually here? We’re alive? he thought to himself with his eyes growing wide in both shock and wonder. ”Habitable is one word for it..... I mean we don’t know what else is out here...”
"Hmm...my favorite memory? I have too many to count, but i guess, it would be the memory of meeting all you and making friends here on the forums. :3" ”One day I’m going to sit down and make a list of all the books that I finished reading....” “It's going to be a long list...”

Eva Marie:
Eva looked outside, expecting a ruined world. But, she saw a field. What? Was there any destruction? She looked around, and saw nothing. She slowly stepped outside, taking off her spacesuit. Fresh air hit her face, feeling Eva with relief. It was so beautiful! This was amazing...

Emma Robinson {Female - 17 - Leader - Outside the Drop Ship} | with: everyone
After taking off her helmet and watching others do the same, Emma gazed around the area. She looked back at the drop ship. When she saw the trashy condition it was in, she couldn't believe that they'd survived. It was obvious that the landing had taken a harsh toll on it. If it had been a car that had just endured the trauma of a car accident, the car would have been rendered as totaled. The exterior part of the ship had dents everywhere, and some of the mechanical parts on the inside were shooting out sparks. It was lucky that none of them ignited.
"I can't believe we just survived that," Emma laughed out loud. She still wasn't sure how safe the planet was, but for the time being everyone was alive and that was good enough for her. She hoped they would be able to keep it that way because otherwise, this entire mission would've been a bust. Apart from discovering that breathing in Earth's air didn't mean instant death, like it might have after the initial explosions that occurred centuries ago.

Ryan stayed silent, listening to the other kids murmur about the beautiful field they were now standing in. He glanced nervously at the beaten up ship. That could have been so much worse, he thought. Thank goodness that no one got hurt. He decided to take the rest of his spacesuit off since it wasn't doing much to protect him from the vastness of space right now. Folding the suit over his arm, he walked around the ship, looking at the sides and peeking inside the craft. Did they send down any resources with us? He wondered, trying to see if there were any cabinets or compartments that didn't simply house broken mechanical parts.

Jo was glad that all the others felt comfortable enough to start talking. The prison cell was probably the most boring part of her entire life - 4 years of barely interacting with guards bored her out of her mind. She honestly wanted to start laughing and rolling in the grass but kept it in. For now. She still hadn't completely taken her spacesuit off after all. Jo looked back and forth to the other kids who were looking around, but as she followed the gaze of the older girl who stepped out first, her eyes settled on the wrecked ship. Oooh, that doesn't look so good... Jo tapped her lip, thinking. What did that dude- uh, Earth Sciences teacher say about shelter? 3 days? Ah, I don't think that was the right one but whatever... "Well, at least we didn't die!" Jo said cheerily, lightly nudging an older girl (Eva Marie, I don’t know what I’m doing ) who stood next to her with her elbow humorously. "Right, right?"

Eva Marie:
Eva noticed someone nudging her. She tensed up a bit, but then softened when she realized it was a younger girl. “Yes, it is lucky that we made it. I did expect the Earth to be inhabitable, but i guess i was wrong. Which is somehow a good thing in this situation.” Eva still clung to her mask, not comfortable showing anyone her face. (macksky)
Wyole Danterlie:
Wyole stared out into the field, amazed that they even made it. He didn’t really want to talk right now, but just wanted to enjoy the view. But then he realized something. “Guys? I didn’t want to ruin your fun or anything, but shouldn’t we check out more places? What if this field is the only thing left...” (✞~Spottedleaf ~✞★Echobrook the Reindeer★mackskyLily~Myth)

Character’s Name: Joel Nachtwey Appearance: Joel stands at a height of about 5'11, with an average, slightly trained, build. He's pale, though not overly so, keeping a healthy shade to his skin. His hair is a dark brown, a shade almost mistaken for black; it's cut just a tad messy, the back reaching the nape of his neck, while the sides stop by his ears. His eyes usually seem intense in some way, despite their soft chocolate brown color.
When it comes to clothes, Joel couldn't care less what they look like as long as they're practical for whatever he's doing. The colors he prefers are usually darker, though. Personality: Joel is, at heart, somebody who wants to change the world. He's outspoken and feels the need to lead others. He doesn't back down from confrontation nor fights, even if he is in the wrong. It usually takes a while for him to calm, though he does have regrets when he realizes he argued or fought while in the wrong. Admitting those regrets is hard for him, though, as he has a lot of pride.
As he wants to lead people, he has a certain problem with authority, not wanting to follow orders. His first instinct when given orders is to get annoyed or angry, at least if he takes what is said to him as an order. He's certainly not the best teamplayer if not the leader in the group.
Despite his faults though, he's a person that's easy to approach, as he's quite talkative, even if he doesn't know the other person well yet. Age: 17, going on 18 Job: Scout History: Joel had gotten into trouble more often than not, not being able to keep his mouth shut and protest about any wrongdoings he saw. While he never got sent to prison for that in early years, his younger teenage years were often spent doing other social work that got assigned to him after stepping out of line too much.
It's not surprising that what landed him in prision would come from him being unable to back down, too. Character’s Name: Thea Davey Appearance: Thea has olive skin, and long light brown hair that's usually tied back into a ponytail. Her eyes are dark brown, appearing almost black at times. Thea likes colorful clothes, preferring to wear colors like a bright red or green as opposed to something less bright like gray or brown. She can usually be seen in a tank top and jeans, though she does adjust her attire to the current temperatures. She stands at around 5'4". Personality: Thea can easily be described as a very sweet person. She loves talking to others and finding out more about them. She's not good at taking any kind of critique or somebody getting angry at her, though, and will get teary eyed. That goes hand in hand with her being very soft at hard, having a hard time seeing anybody in pain, or worse.
In a bad situation where she'd have to defend herself, she'd freeze up, not knowing what to do or how to react. Thus, she actually likes staying close to the others and at the camp, out of fear of being caught up in anything dangerous. Being around others gives her a sense of comfort. Ryan looked over to the young boy who spoke. As much as I would like to explore the forest, who knows what in there, it could be deadly, he thought. Oh, I should probably say something... Ryan hesitated for a second before raising his voice just loud enough for the others surrounding him to hear. "I think... I'll stay here 'n see if there's anything useful," he said in his usual flat voice. Turning back to the ship, Ryan's brow furrowed deeper as he squinted his eyes ever so slightly to see better. I think this thing is toast. But he wasn't completely sure as he didn't have the most experience with technology and spacecraft - maybe some of it was useful still. I should probably ask someone with more experience with tech, he thought. But, I don't know any of these kids...
After hearing the opportunity to check out more places, Jo immediately raised her hand and waved it around, bouncing on her toes. "Ooh, ooh! I can go explore more places! Does anyone wanna come with me?" Jo asked, looking around at the other kids standing around in the field. What was much cooler than exploring an abandoned Earth with friends?!
"I'll come with you," Joel replied, dragging his gaze away from his surroundings to instead focus on her. If there was anything dangerous out there, he wanted to be the first one to see it and decide just how dangerous it was. Plus, it'd give them a good overview of what was around them before they stumbled into the unknown. While a big group could offer safety, if they had no idea what they were doing, it would be easy enough to have something attack.
He moved forward a little to stand next to Jo, waiting to see if anybody else would want to tag along.

Benji Torres Benji had stepped out of the ship as fast as he could, but not before Emma did. He didn't want anything to be lurking and take her out, but he was mesmerized by the surroundings. He looked around when Emma started talking, almost blocking out what she was saying. He was so surprised that he was there, actually on earth. He was impressed when people tried to organize themselves, and he couldn't help himself to cut them off. "Wait now, wait now." He instructed. "Instead of sending people to explore all willy nilly, shouldn't we make groups instead and have this place be our meetup spot? We are going to need to organize all sorts of things, so we don't die here. They didn't exactly send us with food or shelter, and we have no idea how much daytime is left." He ended, looking up at the sky. He didn't know why, but deep down he knew Emma was going to agree with him.
Eliza Bartholomew-Gatsby After landing on earth and watching everyone look around, Eliza couldn't help but feel up the seats. She was impressed with the quality, and looked back at the rest. She noticed another guy was looking around the ship too. "Do you think if we used a screwdriver we could get these seats up and use them as beds?" She looked around the rest of the ship. "Maybe we could even break down the metal for huts?" She felt the walls of the small drop ship. "Er, maybe a hut. Just one." macksky
Archie Blair Devitt Archie started looking around at the other kids when the ship landed. He knew how horrible it was to pilot things small as this, and he knew exactly how it would feel to crash. He looked around silently, glancing to see if anyone was showing signs of trauma or concussions, as the landing wasn't exactly soft. He didn't see anything of the sort, so he breathed out in relief as he walked out of the ship. He crouched down and looked at a certain leafy plant, remembering it in their Earth class. He quickly began picking it and putting it into a little satchel he had.
Paige Pelletier Paige looked at the people blindly volunteering to explore, and let out a tssk sound. She knew that those people were going to get themselves into a mess if they went out defenseless. Had they paid any attention to the predators in the wild? It would depend what part of earth you were in, but there were boars, bears, wolves, coyotes, and so much more! Granted, the radiation didn't kill them all. They didn't seem to be in a so-called jungle, so she didn't think they had to worry about big cats or any other violent animals. She didn't say anything, but she silently agreed with the guy who recommended that they slow down and think. Her gaze drifted to Emma. First one to leave the ship, hmm? She thought silently, memorizing her wavy hair. She didn't know anything about that girl, but her respect raised for her. "The one who takes the first step is the bravest. The first step is always the lead." She murmured.
[Scarknee used to be a warrior, like you...-Falcon_star]
Ryan noted how the metal of the ship seemed flimsy as the tall girl touched the wall. He stepped forward and touched the walls for himself. Definitely not the sturdiest, he noticed. "Honestly..." he started, hesitantly, "I'm not too sure. Building isn't my strong suit." Ryan glanced at the girl - she did look like she knew what she was talking about. "That sounds like a good idea, though," he admitted, brow furrowed as he held his chin.
If he remembered his Earth Studies class correctly, shelter was pretty important. If it got chilly at night or rained - which was basically like an uncontrollable cold shower, right? - people could get really sick! Having a hut they could sleep in would be a good investment. Plus, using the seats as a make-shift cushion would be better than sleeping on the cold, hard, damaged ship floor. Or on the grassy floor where there could be annoying or dangerous bugs.

Jo caught herself - she was getting a bit too carried away in her excitement, and that tall guy was right, they could benefit from a plan of action. Jo crossed her arms as she nodded. "Maybe we could wait until tomorrow?" She suggested, looking at what the other kids thought of the idea. Exploring would be fun, loads of fun, but she could wait until tomorrow. "Until then, we come up with a plan!" She glanced at the others, hoping that someone else would come up with something smart.

Emma Robinson {Female - 17 - Leader - Outside Drop Ship}| with: everyone
"No, Benji is right. We don't know what's out here. We can't go out separately. Some people should stay here with the ship, while another small group of us tries to find anything useful. Anyone who leaves shouldn't be gone too long, though. It looks like it could get dark pretty soon." Emma spoke up. She paid close attention in Earth Studies. Of course, back then she just saw it as an opportunity to escape prison for a short while every day. She never thought she would use any of the information they learned. Regardless, she remembered what was taught. They had no idea where they were or what could be waiting for them in those woods. Shelter was one of the most important things for survival. Emma thought it would actually be much better to try to find a place to make camp in the woods because at least they wouldn't be out in the open like they were now. However, with it being what looked to be late afternoon, Emma didn't want to risk being stuck in the woods after nightfall. It would be much better to search the woods in the morning. For now, though, they still needed basic things like firewood for the night. That was why some of them needed to make a quick trip out. As quick as possible, that is.

Eliza Bartholomew-Gatsby Eliza scratched the back of her head. “Sorry, you looked like the building type of guy.” She looked back at the flimsy metal. “Maybe it could come apart with force?” She started pulling at a flap of a panel, but she was so weak it hardly moved. It wasn’t even funny how weak this girl was. She quickly gave up on that and headed back to the cushions. “There’s enough leather that everyone can have about a twin size bed. It’s not gonna be very comfy, though.” She looked around. “It’s better than sleeping on the ground, though!” She crouched down and fumbled with her toolkit. She was lucky to have snagged a screwdriver on the way down. She began fiddling underneath the seats, trying to figure out how they would come apart. “What got you in prison?” She mumbled, the screwdriver being held in her mouth.
Paige Pelletier The short girl closed her eyes and leaned back on one of the seats by the entrance of the drop ship. “I think Emma knows what to do.” She announced, not leaving any expression on her face. “In fact, I have no doubt in my mind she is the person for this idea job.” Paige still didn’t move after her statement. [Edit, after spots post] Paige nodded her head, sensing the natural leader in Emma. She stood up and looked at her. “I may be short, but I can move fast. I can help find dry firewood.” She offered.

Alexander (Alex) Thorton {Male - 16 - Builder - Outside Drop Ship} | with: everyone
Alex didn't question anything Emma had said. It seemed like she knew what she was doing. If nothing else, she was the first person off the ship. Anyone with guts to step on a planet that supposedly hasn't been habitable in centuries, and then take off her space helmet, was worth following. The nerdy 16-year-old paid somewhat close attention in Earth Studies. He had been really intrigued in the building part of the course. In a normal setting, he'd probably have a career as a handyman of some sort. "I may not know a ton about plants or anything, but I do know a thing or two about firewood. I'll go with you," he said to the other girl who'd just volunteered. Alex wasn't great with names, so he didn't address her by name. He'd have to ask her for it first and just hope that he remembers it.
