Chapter 1
Lunastar awoke to a seemingly normal day in Stormclan, the dawn patrol was getting back, and her deputy Feathertail was organizing the hunting patrols. But before we continue lets rewind a bit...
Luna woke up to the scent of housefolk; she was in her nest, in her housefolks home. She heard the rattle of food and ran over to eat. But she felt different as she ate this time. She always had a routine, she got up, she ate, and then she would lie down with her housefolk for the day. It was all so... boring. Luna decided at that moment she wanted to leave. She had heard tales from her friend who lived in the next house over that there were cats who lived in the forest, who ate mice all day. Luna had occasionally caught mice in her home and they had tasted delicious. So she set out that day.
Luna went to each of the groups of cats, who called themselves “clans”, but none would let her join. They all said the same thing, “a kittypet can’t live in the wild! You’re too weak and soft”, and then chased her away. Eventually Luna found an area in the center of the clan territories, a place with four great oak trees. Luna was skinny, as she didn’t know how to hunt because she couldn’t join a clan to learn how. Luna sniffed the air, and froze. She smelled another cat! She looked around and saw him standing near the trees, a brown tabby, just like her. He was huge and muscular, and Luna definitely didn’t have the strength to fight him. She started to back away and went to leave, but then she heard him call out.
She whipped around, ready to fight, only to see the brown tabby with kindness in his eyes. “Where do you think you’re going?” he asked curiously, “You’re not very good at sneaking away, I could smell your twoleg scent across the forest” the tabby said jokingly. Luna calmed down a bit, the brown tom didn’t seem aggressive. “I’m Trainer Tune” he said, “I’ve been to every clan, each of which I was kicked out of, as the cats feared I was too powerful, now I spend my days with the name Tune, training rogues who have been kicked out of there clans” Tune said. “I-.. I’m Luna” she said, slowly growing more confident as she spoke, “I left my housefolk in hopes of joining one of the clans who live here, but all of them said I would be too weak and chased me away” Luna declared. “Well, Luna, perhaps I can train you, you can make your own clan. I will teach you how every clan fights and how to defend yourself, and I can teach you the ways of Starclan” Tune said. “But first you need to eat” he said, tapping her playfully with his tail “you won’t do any good training with that skinny body of yours” Tune walked away, beckoning for Luna to follow, and so she did happily, excited, and wondering what would happen next.
I'll make more soon but what do you all think? If you have any criticism let me know. I'm always open to ideas :3

Chapter 2 Luna woke up to find snow beginning to fill her den. Many moons had passed since she finished her training with Tune and it was now Leafbare. Cats had started to join her clan, which she named Stormclan, too. She had learned from Tune that clan leaders had deputies, which would help around clan with organizing patrols and, when the leader died, would become the new leader. So after learning that she made the second cat that joined her clan, named Feathertail now, the deputy. Luna would have made Thornclaw, the first cat that joined, be deputy, but he seemed a bit too... immature. Today, Luna would go to visit Windclan and Riverclan to discuss using a small bit of their territory. It probably wouldn’t work but she had to or else her cats would continue to be attacked on patrols. She called to Feathertail to gather some of the warriors so they could go discuss.
Luna had run into a Windclan patrol on the way to the camp and they almost attacked, but she managed to stop and explain why she had come. The patrol looked uncertain but eventually agreed. Now Luna sat with her deputy next to her, trying to convince the Windclan leader, Proudstar, to let her clan use some of the territory. Proudstar seemed kind and it was rather easy to convince him to use a small bit on the Riverclan border, although many of his clan objected. Next she had to convince Riverclan to let her use some of the territory on their side of the border.
Luna got to the Riverclan camp and explained to the guards why she was here, and they let her in reluctantly. Now she was discussing with the Riverclan leader the idea of taking some of the territory, just enough for her clan to survive. Clearstar was being much more difficult than Proudstar was though, and the discussion eventually became an argument. “I will not give away my territory to a bunch of stray cats who decided to play pretend!” she yelled, “Unless you are an official clan leader approved by Starclan themselves then I won’t accept it!” Clearstar’s fur was bristling and her tail was twitching from side to side. This gave Luna an idea though, so she left, knowing a fight was about to break out if she didn’t. Luna had a plan though. She had heard from Tune that leaders had 9 lives, so. She just had to become a clan leader, and then prove it by dying once in front of Clearstar.

Chapter 3 Luna went to find Tune at fourtrees, and expectedly he was there. “Hi Tune!” she said, cheerfully, happy to see her old teacher. “Hi Luna” Tune mewed, and then paused “so what do you need help with?” he said making Luna stop in her tracks. “Is it really that obvious?” she meowed, and he nodded in reply. “Well you know how you said the leaders went to the moonstone to get 9 lives? Where is that” she said. And Tune looked surprised “Well this day came sooner than I expected” he nodded “Its far away, we cannot make it there tonight, go back to your camp and rest then meet me here tomorrow” and he walked away to his nearby den.
Luna slept in her den last night, and then went to fourtrees again with Thornclaw alongside her to help if there’s a fight on the way to the moonstone. She had left Feathertail in charge of the camp in case Riverclan attacked too. Luna sniffed the air then spoke “Tune I know you’re back there in the bushes, come on out” and following that the bushes shook and a cat came out “I’m surprised you knew I was there, I’m proud that I trained such a good cat” Thornclaw looked surprised, having not noticed the cat there, and not knowing who he was. “Don’t worry Thornclaw, this is Tune. He taught me everything I know” Luna meowed reassuringly, and Thornclaw’s fur flatted. “Are you ready to go to the moonstone and see Starclan?” Tune asked, and Luna nodded in reply. So they set out to go there.
“My pads hurt!” Thornclaw whined as they walked to the Moonstone. “Quit whining like a kit, you’re a full grown warrior” Luna hissed, silencing Thornclaw’s whining. Suddenly as they got to the top of the hill, a huge black hole gaped in front of them. “Is this…” Luna started, staring at the darkness in awe. Tune nodded, “mothermouth”.
Tune walked in, Luna following and Thornclaw behind her. All Luna could see was darkness. But eventually she felt a cold breeze and smelled the scents of nature. The tunnel opened up into a cave with a gorgeous white stone, the moonstone. A small hole sat above it, shining moonlight onto the stone. Tune nodded “sit next to the moonstone and touch your nose to it, then you shall gain your nine lives” he mewed, and sat down with Thornclaw. Luna did as he said and suddenly felt the floor beneath her seem to fall away. When she opened her eyes she wasn’t in the cave anymore, she saw stars everywhere, and suddenly some of those stars formed cats. Luna jumped, she had never seen a starclan warrior before! She calmed her beating heart, and looked each warrior in the eye. “Hello” she said calmly “I know I am not a part of your clans, and I know I was born a kittypet…” she paused, thinking of what to say, “But please, gift me the nine lives of a clan leader, and let me help Stormclan thrive”. The starclan cats glanced at once another, then nodded, a starclan cat, a large brown tabby tom with black paws stepped forward “we will give you your nine lives, you have created a clan, Stormclan, and we shall look at it like one of the 4 clans” he stepped closer to Luna, and spoke, his deep voice booming. “With this life, I give you strength, use it well to defend your clanmates” the cat leaned down and touched his nose to Luna, his starry pelt cold against her. And Luna now got to learn the pain a clan leader had to go through to get nine lives.

I'm not gonna do an entire scene for getting the 9 lives because I don't have any starclan cats created and basically everyone has read the 9 lives scenes when firestar got it so it would just be repetitive... also because i barely remember the thing and would have to do the scene from memory and I don't remember how it works entirely XD

I think it was just StarClan cats touching noses and giving them live. They say things like "I give you a life of love so that you may love your clan with the love of a mother for her kits." It can be anything, and differs from cat to cat.

yeah I know what happens but I don't really have any starclan cats prepared and then I would have to come up with what the cats give her XD the ceremony is supposed to have cats who were important to her but no cats she knows in the forest have died yet so I don't feel like making random starclan cats to use one time, although the brown tabby might show up again in the future

Chapter 4 Three cats walked back to fourtrees, purpose in every stride along the way.. er.. kinda. “Ugh I’m exhausted and my pads are KILLING me” one of the cats, Thornclaw, hissed, “I’ll be SO happy when we get back to camp and I can relax” he said. The two brown tabbies rolled their eyes at the young warrior, and then stopped and laughed when they saw each other do the same. “Well Luna- err, Lunastar. Sorry, I’m never gonna get used to it” he paused, and then tried again “Well, Lunastar, I’m glad to have accompanied you on your journey to the moonstone. And I hope you do a good job protecting your clan” he said, acting dignified as if he had to respect the younger cat, but humor glimmered in the old toms eyes. The other brown tabby, Lunastar, flicked for tail over his ear affectionately, “goodbye Tune, I’ll come to you again if you ever need help.” She said, and began walking back to her camp along the Windclan border.
Lunastar was about to go and confront Clearstar, showing that she was a true clan leader but then realized something. If she died in front of Cleartstar that would convince her, but if Lunastar showed up at one of the clan gatherings she would have to die again to prove that she was a leader to the rest of the cats. She decided to wait until the gathering. It was night. The full moon was bright in the sky and Lunastar led some cats from her clan to the gathering. This would be the night that she joined the clans in a gathering. She wondered how they would react. As she reached the fourtrees hollow she smelled the mingled scents of all 4 clans, and stopped at the top. She lifted her tail to signal for her cats to wait up here and began to jump into the hollow. The 4 clan leaders stood atop the great rock, speaking of what has happened in their clans, announcing new kits, apprentices, warriors, and the like. Clearstar was about to speak when Lunastar interrupted her. “Hello fellow clan cats. I have an announcement to make” her voice rang loud in the clearing as she walked toward the great rock confidently. She hopped up, in front of Clearstar. The cat hissed, all the cats in the clans bristling. “What do you mean fellow clan cats!” one cat spat “you aren’t a clan cat at all!”, another yowled “What’re you doing on the great rock you’re not a clan leader!” the voice said. Lunastar replied “see that’s where you’re wrong. I am Lunastar of Stormclan, and I have come to join the forest clans. My territory will be along the border of Riverclan and Windclan, Windclan has already agreed, and Clearstar said that unless I was a true clan leader approved by starclan she would not let me take her territory.” She said, looking at Clearstar tauntingly. “So. Take your best shot Clearstar” she said, but one cat yowled “Wait you can’t attack her! The truce of the gathering stands!” they said. Clearstar simply hissed “that only applies to CLAN cats” she said, right before launching on top of Lunastar and killing her with a swift few blows of her claws and teeth.
Lunastar awoke in a strange area, she recognized the starry mist from the when she got her nine lives and understood she must be losing a life. The brown tabby tom walked up to her from the shadows “That was incredibly reckless of you!” he said, “have you forgotten gatherings have a truce!” the cat hissed. Lunastar nodded “I did not forget, but I could not go to every clan’s camp and lose a life at each of them to prove I had 9 lives, that would be even more reckless” she said. The tom sighed, “I supposed you are right, these cats are strict in their ways and would not simply accept a new clan without proof.” He said, and began to fade away.
Lunastar awoke again, the clan cats gathered around her. As she stood again they gasped. “Hey Clearstar is that the best you were able to do?” Lunastar said, tauntingly. Clearstar whipped around, the leaders all staring at her with confusion in their eyes. Then reluctantly Clearstar dipped her head, “I supposed I was wrong about you, Luna… star. We welcome Stormclan into the clans. Lunastar decided these cats must be shocked enough, so she chose to leave now “I shall go and work on marking borders where Windclan and Riverclan agreed to-“ she was interrupted by Clearstar “when did I agree to anything?!” she hissed, and Lunastar quoted her “’I will not give away my territory to a bunch of stray cats who decided to play pretend’ you had said, ‘Unless you are an official clan leader approved by Starclan themselves then I won’t accept it’” Lunastar meowed, stopping Clearstar. “I supposed I did say that..” Clearstar said, and Lunastar padded off to her camp with her clanmates beside her.

Chapter 5
A few moons had passed, Stormclan was doing well and the clans had come to accept Stormclan as one of their own. More cats had joined the clan and there were even a few kits! Eaglefall was mother to 3 strong kits, Thrushkit, Eaglekit, and Daisykit, the father being Thornclaw. Now that the clan was settled Lunastar had found time to occasionally visit her friend living at fourtrees, Tune, who helped her survive in the forest when no one else would. But today was different, Lunastar had gone to visit Tune only to find he wasn’t there, and he wasn’t in his nest either. “Where could he be” Lunastar wondered aloud, only to smell a different scent in his nest, a strange scent, suddenly she realized what had happened to Tune, and knew she had to help him. Shadowclan had kidnapped Tune.
Lunastar had gone alone to the Shadowclan camp, avoiding being seen and sneaking around. She now sat in a tree near the camp, watching what happened. Two strong looking warriors pushed Tune into the clearing, and another cat, the leader, Rotstar, stood before him. “Tune, you have been banished from every clan for being a powerful cat, but now, you dare to encourage a kittypet to make her own clan!” he hissed with disgust, “I don’t care that she was accepted by starclan it was an obvious mistake, there have always been four clan and it must stay that way!” he paused continuing when Tune said nothing, “we know your little clan leader has been visiting you at fourtrees, we know she will eventually find you missing, and when she finds out that we took you she’ll come attack, but we’ll be ready. And the moment she leaves that camp of hers we will be there, ready to attack.” Lunastar gasped, she couldn’t believe what she was hearing. She had to save Tune but if she did her clan would be destroyed. Tune stared at Rotstar, a mixture of horror and hatred in his eyes. Tune glanced at the tree Lunastar was in, almost making her fall, he knew she was here and she could do nothing to help. She couldn’t take it anymore, she had to help him now whether she was outnumbered or not. Within a heartbeat she launched herself on top of Rotstar, everyone in the camp freezing from surprise. “Tune! Go!” she yowled as she fought off the shadowclan leader, but instead he jumped into the fray and helped her fight Rotstar.
Tune and Lunastar stood back to back, surrounded by Shadowclan warriors on all sides. Lunastar glanced at Tune, and then launched herself at the cat nearest to the entrance, trying to make an opening, only to have more cats pile on top of her. She struggled under the weight, being clawed and bitten but soon the weight was lifted by Tune dragging the cats off. Lunastar realized this wasn’t a well thought out plan, and realized they might not make it out alive. As the two cats stood back to back again, Tune whispered in her ear “this was incredibly stupid of you, you should have gone back to your camp and gathered a patrol” he hissed, but she replied “yes, but then shadowclan would have been prepared by then, and attacked the camp”. Suddenly, as the Shadowclan cats piled on top of Lunastar and Tune, an earsplitting yowl broke the air, and more cats came jumping into the clearing. “See! I had a plan” Lunastar said as the cats were torn off the two brown tabbies “I told Feathertail if I wasn’t back by sunhigh to lead a patrol to the shadowclan camp”
The stormclan cats panted, the medicine cat, Kestrelpool ran around the camp checking everyone for serious wounds, the battle had been won, but many cats were injured. Lunastar’s injuries had been treated already, and so were Tune’s. Now Lunastar sat next to him, begging him to stay in stormclan. “If you stay at fourtrees shadowclan could capture you again!” she said, fear edging her meow. Tune kept trying to say he was fine on his own, and that he would be more careful. “Please stay here, at least for a while!” she meowed, “shadowclan could easily try again”. Tune sighed and nodded his head, “Fine, I’ll stay. But just so you know this ISN’T a sign of weakness, I’m only doing this because I know you’ll never leave me alone about it if I don’t” he said, and went back to cleaning his blood stained pelt.
