Bramblepaw thought, remembering watching older cats climb the trees when she was younger. "By digging your claws into the bark and pushing up with your pack paws?" She asked, hoping she was right. Thistlefang had to admit that he was impressed by his apprentice's answer. She was basically correct with how she answered his question. "That is pretty much it," he said. Even though Bramblepaw had given the answer he was looking for, he still wanted to give her a demonstration, since the process might sound easier in her head than how it is actually performed. "Allow me to demonstrate for you first," he eventually added in.

Thistlefang padded to the base of the tree and hooked his front claws into its trunk. He slowly, but steadily, made his way up, while digging his claws in the trunk. As he made it further, he went up a little faster. Soon, he made it to the second branch of the tree. He didn't need to go any higher than that to get the demonstration across. "Were you watching?" The blue gray tom called down to Bramblepaw. ( Jadestone)

Bramblepaw nodded and padded up to the tree to try it herself. She put her front paws on it and dug her claws in, a bit nervous about climbing her first tree.

Mallowsong arouse from her nest, looking into the camp. Seeing nothing much exciting to involve her, she padded out, reaching the sunlight.

Bramblepaw pushed off with her back paws and clung to the bark. Relived that she got at least a tail length up, she slowly continued until she was at the first branch.

Fallowtail saw Mallowsong leave the camp. He wondered where she was going, and so followed her. "Where are you going, Mallowsong? Hunting?" he asked curiously upon catching up to her. "I'm not all that amazing at it, but I'd gladly come with you!" he chimed, slowly swishing his striped tail side to side. "Nothing much is going on at the camp, just a new cat joined, but Twigstar hasn't called the meeting yet. She seems pretty nice though! Pretty and friendly! If only she were older and not so keen on medicine, I bet... well, but anyway, we did need another medicine cat soon. Saplingheart is getting old." вloѕѕoм♥

Mallowsong looked to Fallowtail, an seeing how inviting he was, she openly responded.
"Sure, where should we start hunting at?" She asked, her soft eyes seeking into the tom's fur.
"Maybe it will be good if the new cat joins into medicine. Perhaps someone should go ask her what she plans to do." Mallowsong suggested, with an intrigued tone.

Silentkit decided she couldn’t take this any longer. Sitting around in camp, doing nothing, and being completely ignored. She stalked along in the shadows of the camp, reaching the dirt-place tunnel. She wrinkled her nose in disgust, but she didn’t want any cat to see her leaving the camp. When she reached the exit, she padded out, shook out her fur, and looked around. Her eyes grew wide with amazement as she saw towering trees and felt the soft grass beneath her paws. She stood there for a few moments before stumbling once and walking quickly into the forest. She sniffed the air, wondering if she could find any prey, but couldn’t pick out one scent from another. She saw a yellow butterfly and began chasing it, putting some distance between her and the camp.

"I have a favorite hunting spot just behind the camp," Fallowtail winked, flicking his tail towards the direction of it. "There's lots of plump squirrels and even rabbits too for some reason, and you know how rabbits are massive things! Well at least to me they are," he laughed. "But yeah, I think I might ask her later, or maybe Twigstar. They must've talked a lot if Twigstar chose to let her in with us. I trust our leader very much, though. From what I've heard from some of the older warriors, Oakstar was too open with everyone, and let rogues in with no question. They say he wasn't a good leader, but I do wonder what his intentions were," he said, kicking a small rock with his toes. That hurt.
