Hi everyone! For students and teachers alike, this could be a fun or helpful experience. Anyway, Howl and I just set up a roleplay if anyone feels like joining. If not, just overlook this! Thanks!

Comet, you lucky dog! Howl is a great person to roleplay with, and I know from months of having multiple 1x1 roleplays with her, and I can look to her as a substitute teacher when Sun is away. Also, a thanks to all the teachers that have decided to become a part of this! You've all inspired me to eventually become a teacher here one day. Continue being awesome.
Teacher Application: Username: Grayfeather Average word count: 70-500 (tbh my word count usually depends on my partners/other roleplayers word count) Experience (what you've done in rp before): Cats, humans, wolves, dogs, dragons, horses, various supernatural creatures, lions, tigers, bees Slot amount (how many students you're willing to teach at a time): 1-2 Roleplay example: (113 words) (I wasn't sure if we were supposed to improvise or take it from an actual roleplay, so I just took something that happened in a fanfic of mine, and rewrote it.) A foe who was indeed worthy of fearing, Heatherstar towered over Tigerstar, who, up until this point, thought that there may be some chance that he and his friends could escape. But alas, the chances seemed to have turned against them at the arrival of the beautiful she-cat who seemed very smug in the fear she'd inflicted upon the smaller group of cats. "It seems that we have reached an impasse; you will not give me Leopardclaw unless I call off my warriors, but I will not make my warriors bow down unless Leopardclaw is within my reach," Heatherstar meowed, her tone full of passive-aggressiveness, something that Tigerstar could never pull off.

{ Roleplay example } Gannetcloud struggled up yet another sandy dune, the hot sun beating down on her pelt. It hadn't fully risen yet, but it was looking to be a very warm day - nothing new, really, for the weather had been like this since the last full moon. During the days it was only the hot sun baking the sand, with very few clouds to interrupt it. Sometimes, the sand was so hot that it burned the paws of any who tried to walk on it. It was during times like these that Gannetcloud could be most useful: she didn't mind the pain, and so she could often go out to complete everyday tasks when others would rather stay in camp. After seasons of walking over the hot sand, Gannetcloud's paw pads were thick and scarred, and the sand didn't even bother her anymore. These past few sunrises had been particularly hot, and the night was always a welcome reprieve for the Clan - indeed, sometimes Ganentcloud's Clanmates were more active at night because they had spent the day sleeping in whatever little shade they could find.
Sand coated her damp forelegs and clung to the fur in between her paw pads. She hadn't done anything to get her fur wet before heading out, but she supposed that this was just part of the life of a SeaClan cat. When you lived so close to the water you were bound to get wet, from the moist air or the spray or something. Stiff dune grasses clawed at her belly fur, and every now and then she would pause, using a hindleg to scratch away an itch caused from the irritation of the skin, before continuing on again. She wanted to work at the sand clumped between her toes with her mouth, but between her jaws she clutched a sea sponge, and she couldn't risk setting it down because it would quickly become coated with sand.
Gannetcloud reached the crest of a tall dune, and below her the remaining sand quickly gave way to marshland, stretching as far as the eye could see. She wondered what was beyond this marsh - she had certainly never been out past its borders, but maybe some of her older Clanmates had. Saltfoot, her mother, might know - she was very flighty, and it was said that in her youth she would sometimes disappear for days on end. Maybe she could ask old Darkleaf as well; in times of need medicine cats had to travel far to collect precious herbs, so it made sense that the retired medicine cat might know what sort of territory was out beyond the marshes. Gannetcloud would pay a visit to the Elders' Den when she got back from her water-collecting.
Above her, an osprey called. She looked up at the sky, squinting against the sun's harsh glare, and spotted the bird circling some way off. It was gradually making its way in her direction, she noted. Chances are she would be fine, but even so she should probably head into the marshes now. She looked around her for any notable landmarks - there, several tail-lengths to her left, was a large pile of rocks. It didn't stand out very much, and it wasn't shaped like anything in particular, but it was the only clump of rocks in the immediate area, and so it should help her find her way back. Gannetcloud looked up at the sky once more before bounding down the dune's slope, kicking up sand behind her, and disappearing into the marshlands.

Username: Flickerpaw Average word count: Most of my posts land anywhere between 40-100 words. I can do a bit more, but more often than not I'd be forcing my posts. Interests/Experience: Any kind of animal or mystical creature roleplay, preferably fantasy based. I've played humans a couple times before, but I don't have very much experience with them. Preferred teacher?: Anyone, really. Whoever has a slot open. Roleplay example:
Hazelclaw continued to trek up one of the dunes, casting the occasional glance at the Warrior behind her. Almost mindlessly, the Deputy followed the familiar path to the marshes. She firmly held the sea sponge in her maw, enjoying the light breeze that swept through her fur. She could still smell the faint scent of salt on the wind, but it was nowhere near as potent as it was back in camp. Arriving at the top of a dune, she paused briefly to ensure she was on the right track. She turned slightly to the left and kept walking, making her way down the dune in quick, graceful strides.
