Orchid looked around wildly, fear evident in her eyes. Her fur was fluffed up, and her hackles were raised in terror. "I-Is she gone?" She asked in a shaky mewl.
Teddy noticed the cats and joined Selkie on the ground, his tail thumping the ground and his usual warm smile plastered to his face. His tounge lolled from his mouth, another usual behavior for the gentle giant.
An idea popped into Mosspelt's head, and she turned back around. "Adderstripe, Patchfur, unless you were wanting to speak with Dirtstar, would you help me with digging? We'll meet just two tunnels down." She flicked her tail as dismissal and ran off to go find another cat. Fortunately, she ran into Brownwhisker. "Good morning! I'm assembling some cats to do some digging, would you help me out?"
"We would love to help," Patchfur said, speaking for the both of the half siblings. She wasn't really sure if Adderstripe was up for it, but she, on the other hand, was usually up for any task she was given; just as long as it wasn't way over her head.
Adderstripe rolled his eyes, not at Mosspelt, of course, but at Patchfur. He didn't necessarily mind the task, but he preferred to speak for himself. "Yes, we will do it," he said, flashing a second look at his half sister. "Let's just meet where we were told to," he then meowed.
With that, Adderstripe took the lead and led the way to the digging site. While they were walking, Patchfur looked at him and commented, "Will you lighten up already? I mean, I know that what happened this morning probably didn't put you in the best of moods, but still. Is it necessary to be so rude, and roll your eyes at me in front of Mosspelt?"
Adderstripe sighed, but he didn't say anything in response. He knew he had not been the nicest to her, but he still needed a bit to cool down and shake it all off. He would apologize to Patchfur later. For now, though, they padded to their destination in silence. At least Patchfur to take a hint that Adderstripe wanted to be left alone for at least the next few minutes.

Orchid looked up at Cherryblossom. "Mama." She said, and shivered. Her fur was still puffed up, but some of her fear seemed to turn to anger.
Dragonfly scowled as she got to her paws. She had fallen asleep, exhausted after her quest of abandoning her daughter and running. She had beensure a hawk or something had gotten her by then, but she had found the useless lump of fur in her dream. Oh well, that dumb kit would die any day now.

Cherryblossom was lost for words. "I...yes....she's gone....not dead, but surely you won't see her again." she said calmly, licking the top of the she-kit's head. "Who knows, maybe you'll find another mama." she joked.

Orchid nodded after a second as she took in what Cherryblossom had said. Her lip twitched a bit at the last sentence. She knew the world didn't quite work that way, as much as she wished it did. "I... I guess..." She finally said. She gave a sigh as she curled up again and looked at the ground, filled with sorrow and anger. For such a young kit, she had mature emotions. True anger, true sadness, true fear, and a feeling of internal loneliness. A kit her age shouldn't know the feeling of a cold, harsh glare, especially from her own mother, who had made a true enemy of her.
(For some reason I think it would be cool if she was able to see ghosts...)

((Ohhh scary! I love your pitbull siggy by the way ^^
Cherryblossom sighed. The poor thing had been through too much. She almost died AND was abandoned by her mother. 'I....I'll never forgive you...' she thought bitterly to whoever Orchid's mother was.
Berrystone smiled to the apprentices. "Okay! What do you guys want to learn first?" he asked.

Mosspelt strategically balanced the branches in her mouth and on her back. On her way back down, she spotted Berrystone working with the apprentices. She couldn't help but purr at the sight, he really was cool. Unfortunately, this caused her a distraction and the branches fell off her back, bringing her down and making a large crashing sound.

Smallpebble turned to where Mosspelt had fallen under the branches. "OH NO! MOSSPELT!!!!" he cried and rushed over to her. He leaned his back under the branches and knocked them off of her. "Are you okay?!" he asked frantically.

Mosspelt laughed as she stood up, shaking the remnants of bark off of her fur. "I'm alright, thank you, Smallpebble." She eased the branches back onto her, waving her tail apologetically. "Thanks again. Would you help me set these up at the digging site?"

(:3 Thank you! It's such a shame that they're judged so. My mom hates pits just because they're pits, but my dad and stepmother have one, and she is the SWEETEST DOG! And you'd be surprised by her obedience. She'll do anything for you.)
Orchid simply let out another sigh. Her tail tip twitched as she battled her emotions internally, not sure which to side with or show.
Dragonfly, after a few minutes of padding around, was struck by the single shred of good in her, and she stopped in her tracks. She decided to give her kit a shot. She began to sprint back to where she had abandoned Orchid, and when she found the spot, Orchid was gone. Taken. She tracked the scents of the ones that had taken her and stumbled upon a camp. So many cats living in one place! It irked her. She could never live that way. She was always disrespectful, and marshes right into the camp like she owned the place. She found Orchid in a den with some queens and a few others she cats. When she saw her kit, though, so pathetic, just laying there, the warm smile that was plastered to her face was no longer genuine. A scowl was held back.
Orchid looked up as a familiar scent hit her. It was her mother. She got to her paws and took her first sure steps forwards, her teeth bared and her claws unsheathed. A growl came from her throat, and her tail lashed. "Go!" She spat angerly at her mother, despite the fact that her mother loomed above her dangerously. She finally knew which emotion to show; fury. That was almost never seen in a kit so young.

Cherryblossom gasped and wrapped herself instinctively around Orchid.
Dahila looked up to see what the other she-cats were looking at. "Oh!" she gasped, she rushed forward and guarded the den, blocking Dragonfly from getting into the den. "P-please leave immediately!" she said softly.
"Yes of course!" Smallpebble replied and helped lift the branched off the ground, dragging them towards the tunnels.
Tigerlily stared at the mother, clearly showing anger but keeping calm."Would you, the horrible excuse for a mother please leave our good clan and NEVER return? You kind if left a kit alone who would've died if not for our clan."
