Robinfoot Robinfoot briefly dipped his head to his leader.
"This is a rogue Crowhea- I mean, Twistedfoot and I found by the border," Robinfoot explained, making sure to use a name Graystar would recognize; he highly doubted he would know who he was talking about if he said Crowheart. "He stayed behind to put markers down, but I decided to bring her back. What do you think we should do?" He immediately regretted his words; he'd spoken as if he were Graystar's deputy and not an average warrior.

Graystar he turned to look at the rouge "what is your name" he tried to lower the level of concern in his voice ,but he couldn't "Are you alone, do you have a family?" he showered her with questions.

Flicker She got scared from the sudden flurry of questions. "My... My name is Flicker. I've been wandering the river's edge for a couple of days. I lived with my mother until she was killed while we went to get water from the river. The DarkClan cat... Thistleface, killed her." She swallowed her sadness as she spoke of her mother.

Graystorm "Darkclan is an enemy to us, say would you like to join LeafClan as an apprentice?" he asked her with the same tone he would use to talk to Mosspaw and a smile.

Robinfoot "Graystar, I don't think that's a good idea," Robinfoot told Graystar under his breath, not wanting Flicker to hear. "It could very well be a trick. Shouldn't she stay here and prove her loyalty for a while before truly joining?" He was annoyed that Graystar would accept a rogue so quickly; it was a mouse-brained idea, in his opinion.

Twistedfoot: "I agree with Robinfoot," Twistedfoot meowed, not looking Graystar in the eye. He edged closer to Robinfoot before bringing up his gaze.

Robinfoot Robinfoot barely kept his fur from bristling as he told Graystar, "A rogue is a rogue, Graystar. It'd be foolish to accept a rogue without thought, especially one that trespassed. I'm sorry if I'm being too harsh, but I think that more thought should be put into your decision." He briefly sent a grateful glance at Twistedfoot before looking back at his leader.

Graystar Graystar gestured for them to step away from the kit. "She is just a kit what harm could she be? you know just as well as i do that she couldn't beat one of our warriors in the state she is in. The poor thing is starving!" with his kind instincts kicking in he sounded like a kit begging his mother.

"But Graystar!" he protested. He knew it was no use, though. Even if this kit killed him, Graystar wouldn't care. After all, he was only the outcast cripple.

Robinfoot "Graystar," Robinfoot slowly began, carefully choosing his words. "Even so, you should still give her a moon or two to prove herself a worthy warrior. What if she's not fit to living among so many other cats? What if she learns better without a mentor?"

Robinfoot "That sounds like a much better plan," Robinfoot replied, pleased. Then he walked over to Twistedfoot and asked, "Can Graystar and I speak alone? I have to talk with him in private." He gave his friend a promising look.

Twistedfoot: He flinched at the word 'exile' since he knew it would only take that one word and his title to send him away, but knew it was best for the Clan. He nodded. Then he saw Robinfoot and his face lit up with joy. "Yes!" he murmured excitedly.
