We'll start now.
NightShade: The Alpha looked around his pack, making note of the colours. The order was nice. He sat outside of his den, looking around.

Cordiera sat by the entrance of the pup's den, smiling faintly as her younger brother chased after her tail, occasionally flicking it out of the way to dodge his pounces. Mirith didn't play too often, and that saddened her, truthfully - in this world, he'd had to grow up too fast. She lost herself to her thoughts for a moment, only a moment, and her little brother held her tail under his paws triumphantly.
"Did you let me win?" The pup wondered, looking up at Cordiera with thoughtful dark eyes, with just the faintest hint of accusation in his tone.
"No." Cordiera replied, nuzzling her sibling gently. "I lost my focus. Be careful not to make that mistake, Mirith." She advised, flicking her tail out of his grasp. He lost his balance for a moment before steadying himself and racing after it again.

Ecko: Ecko left her den and appeared by NightShade. "I think we should do something today." She said. "Maybe we could try teaching that pup to fight, given his young age. Maybe show him the borders, perhaps? I could take him. Not on a hunting trip though. You know I'm terrible at that." She mused

Felan poked her head out of her den's entrance she looked at everything with no emotion, she was cramped in the den which would be small enough for a pup to live in. She felt uncomfortable feeling the stale moss under her. She stretched as she slowly moves out of her den. Her eyes were doing their best trying not to look at another wolf. Why do I have to live like this? I don't deserve this! she thought as her brown tipped tail was still on the ground, doing the best to not look angry.

NightShade: He glanced to Ecko. "Don't get soft. You know it's a pack tradition for only the strongest to become warriors - and that we only make the pups into trainees once every two moon-cycles (that's their word for months). This pup is more likely to become a Patrol-Wolf." he said to his Beta
(Also, sorry, you didn't know all that. I'm going to have to put it in the description, but sorry!)

Cordiera didn't speak as she heard the Alpha and Beta discussing Mirith - the only indication she'd even heard was the brief fading of her smile. The thought of Mirith becoming a patrol wolf didn't bother her, or at least, it shouldn't have. Her superiors would put Mirith wherever he could best serve the pack. He'd never shown any potential to become a warrior, or even any interest in the role, frankly.
She was fine with the thought of him becoming a patrol wolf, and perhaps he would even be happiest there, but the thought of him being treated as lesser left a bitter taste on her tongue. Well. Nightshade and Ecko knew best. Mirith didn't seem to have that issue, and he was a bit less stealthy about him overhearing, flicking an ear towards Nightshade and Ecko's conversation. He actually seemed to smile upon hearing the news, and Cordiera quietly accepted that she must have been worried about nothing.

Ecko: She sighed. "I know." And quickly regained her composure. "But still. We ought to try. If he doesn't seem to have a natural knack for it, we'll introduce patrolling and hunting. That sound good?" She asked

Nightshade: "Fine, fine. I don't think it'll work though." he said, padding over to Cordiera and Mirith. "Hello, Cordiera... Mirith." he said in the traditional way of addressing higher-ranking pack members first. "Mirith, Ecko here is going to try to teach you how to fight. If you fail." he said, emphasizing fail. "you will probably become a Patrol-Wolf, maybe a Hunter."

Ecko: She padded up to Mirith. "Come on. No slacking off. Do your best, that's what I expect from you. I know when I see a true Fighter or not." She growled. Ecko took a glance at Cordiera. She bared her teeth and said, "You barely became a Warrior, you know that, right?" Then turned back to Mirith

Nightshade Nightshade smirked at Cordiera at his beta's comment. He didn't agree with everything Ecko did, but she tried. "Good luck!" he snorted after his Beta and Mirith. (Sorry for the short reply - you do like my fanfic, right? That's what I'm doing right now, two chapters in one day)

Cordiera nodded, respectfully dipping her head and looking towards Nightshade, but avoiding eye contact. "Understood." She glanced back to Ecko, once more not looking her directly in the eyes, but said nothing. She bested her brothers and sisters for this. It was true, wasn't it? Rina had almost bested her. Would have, on any other day.
And you were almost an omega. Mirith thought, but the thought was smothered with due diligence. "Understood." The little pup said neutrally, glancing towards Ecko. He knew better than to question the Beta. He padded towards her, dipping his head and glancing at his paws. "Thank you for this opportunity. I'll do my best." He said quietly, deciding, and he thought wisely, not to mention that he had already made his peace with the fact that he was never going to be a warrior. It wouldn't make things any better if Mirith admitted that he thought he was wasting her time.

Ecko: "Come on then." She snarled, and padded into the center of camp. "This way, everyone will know what to expect from you, pup." She placed her paws in a defending position. "Attack me." Her words were dripping with scorn.

NightShade: The big he-wolf turned towards the center of the clearing, smiling. "I hope Blood will just stay out of the way..." he said, looking at the bloody wolf. He knew perfectly fine that both Cordiera and Mirith could hear him

Mirith trembled, and he knew he was trembling, and by the stars he hated it. He could deal with failing, but in front of everyone...? Well. He'd have to get used to it. He took a moment to breathe deeply and steady himself before charging at Ecko, dashing towards the Beta, and tried to feint by dipping to the right, then the left, and finally aiming a nip at her foreleg.
