Cordiera breathed in quietly, flicking an ear as she heard her brother yelp as he hit the ground somewhere behind her. She half-glanced at Ecko, and with the Beta's words, her mind went blank. Sometimes it was easier just not to think. "I never deluded myself into thinking he could become a warrior, Beta. He simply doesn't have the gift. We'll learn his fate come Trainee Day, and rest assured that I am not optimistic."
Mirith heaved himself back to his paws, dirt on his flanks and shifting his weight unevenly to keep it off one of his hind paws. The pup sulked back to the corner of the den, half-glancing and half-glaring at Hestia and silently daring her to say anything. Stars, he was pathetic. He... no. He couldn't think like that. He glanced up at Hestia, and stared at her for a heartbeat, speaking quietly after a moment. "Hestia. What's Moon-Sky like?"

Hestia flinched when the small pup spoke to her. "I...I suppose....well...I'm not sure what it's like...I've never been on one, but all I know is that...it's a time when all wolves get together to hunt." She replied to the little one. "Of course that's up to you to decide how you see it." She smiled softly. She was still shy to other wolves, but pups she could deal with.

Felan sat at the edge of the Fang pack camp. She had the urge to just run out, but the only reason reason why she stayed was because of Moon-Sky. She looked out, her urge made her growl at herself. She looked at the forest leaves and trees.

Mirith frowned faintly. "Cordiera always seems happy when she talks about it, even if she's been having a bad day." He said quietly but clearly. He didn't understand why, honestly - he'd never participated in Moon-sky, he hadn't been born for the last one. He wasn't sure what seemed so fun about that, would Cordiera have been happier as a hunter, maybe?
She should have just gone for the rank she wanted, then. She's supposed to be the fourth highest rank, and she's still treated like the omega. There came those thoughts again, the ones he'd have to get better at blocking out if he wanted to survive. You know it's your fault, Mirith, they'd treat her better if you were stronger. He couldn't block that one out, though. That one was true. He quietly reminded himself not to think like that and hoped that someday it would sink in.
"Hmm. I wonder." Mirith hummed quietly. "Felan's been in the pack since before I was born. Maybe she's been to Moon-sky." The pup heaved himself to his feet, both sides aching and shifting his weight off one of his hind paws. "Alright, I'm going to ask her about it. Thanks, Hestia!"

Rank: Pups Appearance: Phantasm is a brownish wolf with a white undercoat and black back, as well as a black stripe going down his tail. Image: Personality: Phantasm is happy-go-lucky, And doesn't mind about the snarled greetings from some. He can be serious sometimes, but is usually always cheery and doesn't mind the occasional prank. Skills: Phantasm is a fast runner, and is great at hunting&stalking. He's not too bad at climbing, either. Flaws/Weaknesses: Although he's very good at hunting, he fails at fighting and swimming. History: Phantasm was not born into the pack, he was born from Hestia and an unknown male wolf. I don't want my only character to be the Alpha, I'll make a patrol-wolf because Inferno needs a mentor, but I'd like to try pup.

Inferno gave a large yawn. He scratched a spot behind his ear before glancing around. He wasn't sure what he should do. Maybe he could ask for another tour of the territory? He had been so intrigued by the world around him that he wasn't paying attention. |

Hestia nodded at the little pup. "You are welcome, little one. I am always here if you need." she said with a soft glowing smile. She licked her fur and laid on the ground. She missed her other pups. She mourned for them silently every day, wishing she could have saved them from the males who took them from her.

Jumping in fear Hestia scampered away from Inferno and deeper into the den. She still couldn't handle other wolves, no matter who they were.
