INTRO:
Horrorclan...a clan of deep evil. A clan that bottles up anger, revenge, lust, rage, torment, killers, murderers, traitors, those with dark hearts and cold souls. This clan isn't a normal clan, oh no, it has no boundaries of justice. It is a clan that has turned they're backs on the holy ancestors. A clan where the weak are kept prisoners, and executed if deemed useless. Where elders are not respected, where the leader is feared, and the deputy just as much. Horrorclan is a clan of bloodshed. Try if you can to survive this clan's cruel ways and nature, and if you can...good luck maintaining that survival. However, despite its cruel ways it has become a refuge for those in need. Those who have been shunned or disowned, lost and abandoned, forgotten and assumed dead. It is a clan where everyone, and anyone, treat one another like family. Becuase it's the only family they have left...
Welcome...to Horrorclan.

CLAN RULES(PLEASE READ THROUGHLY):
-Horrorclan is also known as 'The Clan with a Bad Reputation'. This means all cats have some dark secret in their life or have done something dreadful in the past or present (or maybe near future).
-DO NOT EXPECT MORALS TO CHANGE IN HORRORCLAN. It is a clan of strict tradition and will not change the way they operate. This means that The Maggot's Nest will not disappear or be dropped. The weak will still be sent there and the strong will move on to become warriors.
-Despite the cruel and reckless morals of Horroclan, it is a clan of pain and scars. It is a clan where cats can cope with their past. They seek comfort in only one another and no one else. They stick together and trust one another. Outsiders will be considered suspicious if entered into the clan, but can be offered a chance to prove one's self. This will determine whether they will become a warrior or Horrorclan or a prisoner in The Maggot's Nest.
-All are under complete authority under the leader because they are deemed the strongest and most feared. It is a crime to attempt murder on the leader, and the punishment will be death and executed by the deputy.
-The medicine cat is allowed to have mates. Remember, this is a clan of wickedness.
-Love rivalries are traditionally solved with a fight to the death.
-The deputy is feared just as much as the leader is, so special privileges are given to them, like deciding if someone is worthy of sparing (with leader's confirmation).
-Deputies are required to take over for the leader in their absence. The deputy rank is different from other clans. The deputy is considered a rank only to assist and advise the leader. When the leader dies or is close to death, they must make a decision on who the next leader will be after them. The deputy never becomes a leader.
-Murder is 100% okay in Horrorclan, but it cannot be against a fellow clan member. Those who live in The Maggot's Nest are acceptable to be killed, but the perpetrator must give a good reason for doing so or have permission by the leader.
-Traitors are to be killed on sight if they escape or are discovered, this is not limited to the weak, prisoners, or elderly. Even clan members can be deemed traitors or spies and killed if there is enough evidence to prove it.
-The weak are deemed useless if they show weakness as kits, apprentices, or young adolescents. After that their training is stopped immediately(or they don't get it at all) and transported to The Maggot's Nest. However, they still have the privileges of an apprentice, but they cannot train any further.
-Those in The Maggot's Nest can be used as 'test subjects' for training apprentices. Death bites and attacks are acceptable to demonstrate on the weak and prisoners only. Elders are allowed to live without this rule.
-Rogues and Loners have only two fates when lingering in the Horrorclan boundaries: they can join the clan (new rule because of Bloodstar being the new leader after his father) and prove themselves worthy, join and fail to prove themselves and ending up in The Maggot's Nest, or they can be executed for trespassing over the border.
-Each rogue are given two warriors as guides and monitors. They will follow and report the rogue/loner's progress as they hunt and join patrols to prove their worth.
-The reason for the second chance rogues are given according to Bloodstar is to see if they can protect themselves. Despite the morals of Horrorclan in the past, he has begun to make different twists on the rules of the clan code. Rogues and loners are allowed to prove themselves to see if they are fit to survive in the wild. If not, they are placed in The Maggot's Nest for their protection according to Bloodstar.
-Bleeding Rock is where cats who have been disloyal, traitors, betrayals, or other offenses are executed. They are to stand on top of the rock and drop into the jagged rocks below. This is the reason why there are skulls and bones in between the jagged rocks.
-After the burial of a warrior or clanmates, a day's vigil for the deceased will take place. None are to talk or show emotion at all. Violation of this vigil will result in severe punishment for disrespect of the deceased. Punishments include cleaning out The Maggot's Nest, earning a deep scar, wound, or crippling from the leader or deputy, and in extreme rare cases, execution.
-It is considered forbidden to attend the Gatherings at Crystalline. Punishment is crippling them (blinding, breaking limbs, etc...).
(if you have any questions on clan rules, PM me and I'll clarify or add a rule here)
TERRITORY:
Horrorclan is located in the swamp, a thousand miles away from a clan called Tombclan. Many who have turned their backs on their ancient ancestors and clan are usually found traveling on Horrorclan territory. If you're strong and can hold up, you will be deemed strong enough to join them. If not, you are kept in the Maggot's Nest where the weak, the elderly, prisoners, and the crippled go. The camp is located in the murkiest part of the swamp, the heart of the marshy land. It is extremely damp and hardly has any safe plants and water to eat or drink.
Camp
Leader's den- An mossy hollow in a tree that is five feet away from ground level. The leader is required to climb the tree to get into the den. This is also how they define leaders, in apprentice training they learn to climb. If you can't and you're a warrior, then you can kiss your dream of becoming a leader or deputy goodbye.
Deputy's den- A fallen tree over boulders and other rotted trees. The smell of fresh soil lingers here.
Medicine cat's den- A small burrow underground that's VERY sturdy and unlikely to collapse. It is perfect for storing herbs because of the moist flooring.
Warrior's den- a small cave carved into a rock from erosion. The apprentice den is next to it.
Apprentice den- Same as the Warrior's den.
Nursery- A tree hollow inside a huge oak.
The Maggot's Nest- An wrecked up hanging rock that just barely protects those residing in it. It is very close to the deputy and warrior's dens to make sure no prisoners escape, not that they will try to escape. There are many dangerous things outside camp anyway.
Trainer's Hollow- A large, flat terrain and/or clearing used for training apprentices and medicine cat apprentices. It is located next to The Maggot's Nest for a reason, being that the weak and prisoners can be used to demonstrate battle techniques and such.
Corpse Pile- Or simply known as the fresh-kill pile. This is where prey and dead cats from murder are piled. It is located to the left of The Maggot's Nest on purpose.
Bleeding Rock- A tall rock with small jagged rocks beneath it. It is covered in blood from executions of other cats. It is also where the leader calls for a ceremony or an announcement.
Ashstar's Graveyard- Named after Fallenstar's father and Bloodstar's grandfather, Ashstar, it is where the deceased of worthy warriors or clanmates are buried. A day's vigil for the deceased takes place after burial. None are to talk or show emotion at all. Violation of this vigil will result in severe punishment for disrespect of the deceased.
Outside Camp
Twoleg Place- A long, long, long way away from the swamp. Don't even go there, you won't make it.
Clear Lake- The only cleanest water source in the entire swamp. It is left untouched by pollution or mud and is the best place to hunt for fish. It is a great place to take a bath too.
Murderer's Swamp- A large body of water that was made filthy by cats washing blood off their fur. It is a tradition after a battle with another clan or with rouges/loners to wash specifically in this murky lake. It smells horrible and very distinctly of iron and mud.
The Ledge- A very high cliff with pointed rocks and dangerous drops. It is at the west end of the swamp. It is absolutely not a place for kits.
The Mountains- A large, mountainous area behind the Twoleg Place that always snows.
Crystalline- The place of gathering for clans and other cats(Other clan cats will be npcs by me). Horrorclan does not attend these gathering at all. It is forbidden.
Bloody Hollow- A place deep within the marsh swamp and the dirtiest of places (not like cleanliness dirty, but bloodshed dirty) where medicine cats used to talk to their starry ancestors and where leader's earned their nine lives. Now that tradition is abandoned and the leader earns their nine lives from the cats of the Darkest Times, which is a group of ancestors who have turned down the dark roads and have done wicked or evil things.
Maurader's Grove- A small farm and grassy field around the same distance as the Twoleg Place. It is where a single cat named Crookedoak lives with his companion Applesauce. It is the best place to catch squirrels and hares/rabbits, but it is impossible to travel there alone.
