Maybe it needs a little anatomy work still, but I'd say you improved quite a lot! Keep up the good work!

Can you hear meeeee!? (An Assassin's Creed fan here, got this from a trailer song for Syndicate) Thanks! And yeah, I guess I'm better at drawing new dragon species, since I can make their anatomy however I want lol.

I like the old one better (My opinion, it's okay if you don't like it yourself.) But with the new one, I agree with Moonsong, it needs a little anatomy work, but it's nice!

I agree with Moonsong and Goldenheart. I think some smoother linework would go a long way!

Can you hear meeeee!? (An Assassin's Creed fan here, got this from a trailer song for Syndicate) Thanks, you two! I am trying to improve on anatomy (but the necks are always too long), even though I'm drawing winged cats more often now lol.

I am trying to improve on anatomy (but the necks are always too long), even though I'm drawing winged cats more often now lol. If you have long necks, I recommend just making a floofed/furred neck. It's much easier and even I do it.

I don't think its that the neck is too long, its just that the head shape's a bit off, the legs are kinda skinny, and the body has a few issues but other than that, everything else is awesome ^^ the shading and background have improved by a lot!

Can you hear meeeee!? (An Assassin's Creed fan here, got this from a trailer song for Syndicate) Thanks, Dreamer! I'll see what I can do with the legs and head. I've also lately started drawing the background first, then get the creature in it so I can adjust the shading to be more realistic

np!
i usually draw the background after unless if the drawing contains fire or some other glowy stuff. i usually do character sketch, then another sketch layer on top of that, lineart, coloring, background, shading, then final touches.

The body should be a bit bigger, but the legs are definitely better. The hindleg's joints are a tad bit off too but otherwise it's a lot better!
also, you used binary pen x3

Can you hear meeeee!? (An Assassin's Creed fan here, got this from a trailer song for Syndicate) Lol I did. I use it for the outlines, and, for the background, once the coloring is done, I use the grass tool to remove any sharp edges.

i only use binary for 50x50's or 100x100 icons or page dolls
