~Introduction~

Winterclan. The Clan of the north. They have been here for a very long time, battling the winter with fluffy coats. They have been surviving here for a very long time, maybe even centuries. Their founder, Winterstar, ensured the survival of her lineage. She was a wise cat. Strong, powerful and beautiful at the same time. She was never messed with. And so was the Clan she led.

Even after her death the Clan survived to be just as fierce as their leader. All rogues strong enough to survive here feared Winterclan and stayed away from them at all costs. The Clan was fiercer than the storms that ravaged these lands. Fiercer than the creatures that roamed this cold place. They thought - there was nothing more fierce than the Clan of the north.

But there was. Something strong enough to cause everyone to flee the north. Starvation. The world had gone colder, and animals were migrating to a warmer climate. Everyone was slowly running out of food. Their leader at the time, Snowstar, died. Many cats died. The deputy at the time was Silvercloud who made the decision they must leave. At that time, the fierce Clan was sheltering some rogues. They agreed with Silvercloud. "It's too cold and dangerous here. There is no more food. We need to follow the rising sun to a new location." one of them had said. Berry's words were correct. They had to leave if they were to survive. And they did.

They traveled for days. More rogues now looked up to the Clan. Everyone cared for each other now. Silvercloud had quickly managed to get his leader name Silverstar and his lives. He went ahead of everyone. They all followed him. The rising sun shone above the snowy treetops. They crossed countless ice lakes, rested amongst the roots of the trees. Password is Follow the Risen Sun.  They fought birds for both food and self-defense.

At long last, they arrived at their new home. They were weaker. Everyone was. Tired, starving, weaker. Some were sick, even. Silverstar was clinging onto 5 lives now and did not want to lose any more. He made all rogues part of Winterclan. Berry became his deputy for all the wise words he had said. Berryfur. Clover had helped them loads with healing when their medicine cat passed away. She was now Cloverleaf. Their new medicine cat. Dusk became her apprentice and was Duskpaw now. They were at their new home.

All 4 seasons were different. One was warm, with a lot of rain. Leaves were green, a color they barely saw up in the north. They called this season summer. The one following turned the green leaves golden, red, yellow. Some looked like they were on fire. The leaves were falling to the ground, and it was a lot rainier than summer. They called this season autumn. Then came their beloved winter, when the world turned white and the ground was covered in snow. And between winter and summer was another season, when flowers bloomed and the world was bursting with life. This was spring.

Since then the Clan has flourished again. Now, it is your turn. Join Winterclan, or leave their territory, as they don't tolerate border crossings.
~Clan Info~
Winterclan, as mentioned in the Intro, is a very fierce Clan with cats that have fluffy pelts. Well, some do, anyway. Some no longer don't. It depends if your grandparents is one of the rogues that joined, or if you have clean Winterclan blood. The Clan resides near mountains over which they traveled. They are strong fighters. Everything else..well it's to be discovered.

The Clan is also rivals with a resident Clan, Dewclan, that's been living here for a very long time. They do come together every three moons to Meetings to exchange news with each other. That's the only peaceful day.

Oh and they changed a lot when the previous leader, Birchstar, came into rule. The medicine cats are now known as Healers. And some other things changed, too.
~Area around them~
-Camp-
Their camp is in a hollowed area, surrounded by sharp thorn bushes. Large pine trees surround it, with one inside the camp. The one inside is the home to the leader and its deputy. The hollow is big, with the edges housing the other cats.
The Pine Tree
The only tree in their camp. On its lowest branch is where the leader makes announcements. Their den is also up here. The deputy has a den in the roots of the tree.
Warrior's Den
The Warriors den is right by the camp entrance on the northern side of the camp. This den is big, with strong thorn walls and a mossy floor.
Healer's Rock
The Healer's Rock is where their healer resides in. It is actually two large rocks right next to each other with a den on top for the healer to sleep in. They store away all the herbs in the rock.
Apprentice's Den
The apprentice's den is closer to the back of the hollow. The floor is also mossy, and there are twigs lining up the walls of this den.
Nursery
The nursery is on the far side of the camp, next to the Healer's Rock. It is a large den, with extra reinforced walls made up of the thorn bushes, twigs, branches and other strong materials. It is large and warm.
Elder's Den
The Elder's den is a medium-sized den by a tree stump in the ground. It is warm inside of it. The ground here is made of soft moss, just perfect for the elders.

White with a few light grey splotches behind his ears under his belly and inside of his legs. He has yellow eyes like how twoleg kits draw the moon. And a black nose.
He doesn't tolerate shenanigans but tries to think rationally about why they did it in the first place. he does have a fun side and a forgiving side so he likes to keep a light hearted attitude on a daily basis. He is strict when it comes to leader decisions but tends to be calmer and more sociable when training his apprentice.

Cloudclaw is a white tom with silver paws and tail-tip. He has a dark gray streak on the back of his head. His ears are torn heavily. He has a black nose and dark green eyes.
Cloudclaw is quite snappy. He is quick to snap and easy to anger. But, if you get to know him, he is actually a good cat at heart. He just has a hard time warming up to anyone. Once you gain his trust, he is very loyal.

Grayleaf - ✞~Spottedleaf ~✞ (65 moons)
Grayleaf is on the smaller side, although she is definitely not kit or apprentice sized. She has a slender frame with small paws, a thin tail, and just a shorter build in general. She is a long-haired cat with very fluffy and soft gray fur. She is almost completely gray, except for a patch of white on her chest and white paws. Grayleaf has green eyes.
Grayleaf has always shown interest in medicine. For as long as she can remember she has enjoyed learning about the different herbs and all their uses. Even as a kit, she often sneaked away to watch and observe the medicine cat do her work. When the medicine cat had time to spare, she would even share some of her knowledge with her. By the time she was about to be apprenticed, she already knew what the basic herbs such as cobwebs and poppy seeds were, what they looked like, and what their benefits were.Because of Grayleaf's early intellect and strong interest for herbs, Grayleaf started training as a Medicine Cat Apprentice as soon as she came of age. Since then, she has become highly talented.

When it comes to her job, Grayleaf is independent. She feels like she does her best work when she is alone, so that is how she does it. Besides, she doesn't have an apprentice just yet and hasn't had one. For that reason, working alone is what she is used to. She will occasionally accept help when it is offered, but that is usually when she is especially busy. Even then, however, she is still reluctant to work together with someone else. It is just in her nature to remain independent. Her determination to remain independent is incredible, but she knows she will have to take on an apprentice soon with her getting older. Not only that, but her strong desire to do it alone sometimes causes her to get stressed. She sometimes doesn't take a break when she needs one, which can, of course, affect someone negatively.

Along with independent, Grayleaf is a perfectionist. She strives to do everything right the very first time she tries something. If she messes up, she will hate herself for it. She will disguise the fact that she is upset with herself over it, but sometimes she fails to hide it. This will be especially obvious if someone dies of injuries or sickness. She will feel incredibly guilty because she was unable to heal them. When that happens, she will be hard on herself and beat herself up over it.

Although it was already somewhat explained, the gray she-cat is a hard worker. She works hard to see that she makes as few mistakes as possible. She tries to take it slowly so that she can focus, but when times get busy it is hard to do. It is easier for her to rush through things when it seems that there are a thousand things for her to do. Sometimes, she works better under pressure, but with other things she doesn't. It really depends on the circumstances.

When interacting with others, Grayleaf acts rather shy at first. At heart, she is an introvert. She stays reserved and keeps to herself unless she is spoken to. That is, unless she is around her friends or someone she really enjoys talking to. Overall, Grayleaf doesn't have too many cats she would call "friends" anyway, but she does have a few really close ones. She doesn't take much time to socialize, and in tern doesn't make new friends often. Nonetheless, she is very kind and gentle. She's especially fond of kits, likely because she knows that being a medicine cat means she can't have her own. Because of the fact that she can't have them, she tends to act like a mother to all kits. She loves them and treats them as if they were her own.

Russetpaw - cr0wt00th (6 moons)
Russetflower is a short-haired, scrawny tom with dark ginger tabby fur. He has a fluffy white chest and tail tip, and his eyes are yellow.
Russetflower is quick-tempered and loud, making some dislike him based on first impressions. He's incredibly passionate about his hobbies and loves helping others, even those who he believes doesn't deserve it. He's slightly snobby and acts like he doesn't care about anyone or anything. He's very proud, refusing to accept help unless he has no other choice.
Russetflower has led a fairly normal life.

Sunsetstone - 🌑 Sunsetstone ☀ (35 moons)
Sunsetstone is a light ginger she-cat. She has a much lighter muzzle, chest, and a spot on her side. She has a pink nose and teal eyes. One if her ears has a very small nick in it.
Sunsetstone is a kind warrior. While not so old, she still has managed to almost lose someone's trust and since then has been showing kindness to everyone. Sunsetstone is also a bit hot-headed and doesn't follow orders as much as she should.

Bramblestripe - ✞~Spottedleaf ~✞ (35 moons)
Bramblestripe is a large tom with a large build over all. He is tall with broad shoulders, large paws, an extra long tail, etc. He is a medium-haired tom who keeps his fur smooth and well-groomed. His fur is dark brown and has the classic tabby pattern. He has bright green eyes.
Early on in his life, Bramblestripe learned what it is to be kind. It was the main thing his mother Duskflower had taught him, before she bravely sacrificed herself in battle. She would always say to him, "No matter if you are having a good or bad day, and no matter what is going on around you in the clan, always remember to be kind. A little kindness goes a long way."

As a kit, Bramblestripe thought it was silly to say that so much, but as he got older it really stuck with them. Because of that, Bramblestripe is naturally kind. He may not be super outgoing, but he is not shy around anyone in particular either. He does his best to make everyone happy, and he welcomes any cat who joins the clan. His kindness is what makes him stick out the most. The only bad thing with this is that it sometimes causes him to let his guard down when he shouldn't. He may welcome the wrong cat, or other cats might try to take advantage of him and use him for bad things. Cautiousness was something else he should have learned from his mother, but it wasn't as heavily enforced as the kindness. Because of that, he seems to pay much less attention to that and tends to forget that it's okay to be cautious.

With that being said, Bramblestripe is very brave. He is always willing to try new things, and he is quick to go on clan adventures when those come up. In addition to that, Bramblestripe is calm even in the roughest situations. His calmness in those times may be what keeps others going.

One thing Bramblestripe doesn't like is fighting. This all ties into what was said about being kind. He is reluctant to fight because he doesn't want to hurt anyone. He understands its necessity at certain times, but he feels it is best to try to negotiate instead. When it comes down to it, the brown tabby will protect his clan with his life, but fighting is something he will never come to love.

Bramblestripe's reluctance toward battle makes him not the strongest fighter. He only fights at an average level. He is a little better with hunting because it doesn't involve hurting other cats. However, he still isn't above average with it. Bramblestripe's main focus has never really been to become the best hunter or fighter. He prefers to focus on character, rather than skills. He would much rather be a cat with a good heart.
Duskflower, Bramblestripe's mother, was a highly influential cat on Bramblestripe. Duskflower was the one who gave him the encouragement and determination to focus more on being a good cat than a cat with the best skills. She's the reason for how he is today. Because of Duskflower's strong influence, her death has had a big impact on him. Bramblestripe silently mourns for her, but he doesn't let it affect how he lives life, for he knows that that isn't what she would want.

Black with little hints of gray throughout his pelt making them look like stars. His eyes are a clear blue.
He is a flirt who always has the best interests of his Clanmates at heart. He tries to be a knight in shining armor but most tend to either ignore him or get annoyed by him.

Mosspaw - 💫Fallenstar💫 (10 moons)
Dark brown she-cat with moss green eyes.
A tough girl with a lot of spunk she never gives up. She hates loosing but accepts defeat but tries to always make a comeback. She tends to be kind to younger cats and respects her mentor immensely.
Lost her sister due to greencough when they were kits. Mosspaw tries to carry on in her sisters memory. Her sister was Gladekit.

Lightpaw - 🌑 Sunsetstone ☀ (9 moons)
Lightpaw is a very light amber she-cat with darker flecks here and there. She has white paws and white stripes below her eyes. Her nose is a cherry color, and her eyes are light blue.
