I offer a lobster on a stick and the rest of the burnt scones to Yuka and kinda tepidly say Iggy’s name because i’m concerned about him

The smoke dissipates. England does not respond. All you hear are the calls of songbirds from the Animal Planet program.

It is silent within the safe. The lightbulb flickers. Where is England?

I unscrew the lightbulb and magically pull another light bulb from my pocket, replacing the original

You unscrew the original lightbulb, and put it aside so you can put in the new one. It worked, and it no longer flickered. You looked back at the surface on which you placed the old bulb. You could have sworn you placed it there, but it was nowhere to be found, just like England.

It does not work.
Where is England?
You trip on something on the ground. It's a handle.

-1 I pull up on the handle. Or turn it if it’s a handle that turns

You pull on a handle. It's for a cleverly disguised trapdoor that was part of the hardwood floors you provided England with in his habitat. It looks like nobody had used it for a really long time. Took some elbow grease, but you pull it open, causing a cloud of dust to *poof* into the air. When it settled, you see a steep staircase spiraling downwards.

I stock up on burnt scones and I start heading down the staircase

You start to head down the staircase. It is pitch black and you cannot see anything. It is very steep, and you soon lose your footing on the stone bricks. All the burnt scones you carried in your arms fall out and start tumbling down the stairs. And you, like the scones, also tumble down the stairs, all the way to the bottom. Fortunately you don't break any bones, because the scones cushioned your fall. You seem to have fallen into a chamber, but without light you still can't see anything.
