Ravenclaw nodded, and yowled, "RUN! MEET VERMILLIONPAW AND EAGLEFLIGHT!" She then helped slice a path through the wolves for Sandleaf and her. With her claws full of fury and hatred for her brother's deaath, she hacked through any wolf who came close.
Sandleaf Sandleaf raced through the path made by Ravencall's rage, sobbing for the clan that was being torn apart around her. She burst through an opening in the camp walls and dove into the forest of darkness, hearing terrifying howling that sent fear spiking through her pelt. Find Vermillionpaw...Find Eagleflight... She hoped with all of the power of the stars above that young Gingerkit, Lionkit, and their mother, Blueflame would make it out alive...
Spike Snarling, the wolves didn't seem to be backing off as Spike gouged another deep claw mark into one of their muzzles. He heard the cat called Ravenclaw yowling for the clan to retreat. He hated that the cats were going to give up their home so easily, but what chance did they stand against these monsters? He gave one last hiss of defiance before tearing after some fleeing cats in his retreat.

Ravenclaw let tears roll down her cheek. Not her ruthlessness, but grief. It mixed and melded into the rage, and fueled her with it. She still fought into the entrance, at last, and fled with Sandleaf. Finding Eagleflight, she gently sat down and was about to go cold out
Sandleaf After finding the warrior huddled next to Vermillionpaw, Sandleaf crouched by Ravenclaw who had caught up to them and wept silently for her fallen clanmates and the home they had lost. What were they going to do now? Their leader was dead and she couldn't tell if there were any other survivors aside from the three in front of her.
Spike Spike followed the scent of Ravenclaw and found three cats quite a distance from the camp. He padded over and sat down, ears alert for any wolves. He'd tear apart anything that would take away what was left of his new home.
Ravenclaw mewed, "We have to move. Otherwise, we will all die to wolves. I remember perching on the tallest tree, with Eagleflight next to me. We saw a Twolegplace, and we will move through there. I must become, I suppose, Ravenstar, and our courage must last. Now, we have to survive the aftermath…"
Sandleaf Sandleaf nodded to the deputy. "I-if we can make the journey to the Sacred Grounds, then you will be officially our leader..." She said warily, shaking the grief from her fur. She couldn't bear thinking about Gingerkit's fate.
Spike Spike nodded to the she-cat. "What are we waiting for? Let's go!" He said, adrenaline making him jittery.
Ravenclaw mewed, "We must go there. Though it will be dangerous. If there is a wolf, we have to run. Vermillionpaw is in no condition to fight, and protecting her would be difficult." Vermillionpaw had a fake glare, and hid a sense of guilt, but Eagleflight knew her too well. The silvery gray she cat nudged her sister.
Ravenclaw mewed, "We can find the herbs and use them for Vermillionpaw. I don't have any serious wounds, probably mostly from my fury at Warblercall. He didn't deserve to die."
Warblercall aat as he watched his sister fill with rage. He gently descended, and mewed, "It wasn't anyone but the wolf's fault. He paid severely for that. The same wolf got a deep scratch to its front leg. It won't be running." He then pressed hos starry cheek on hers, and mewed, "StarClan is truly a place where all is well. I haven't fully traveled there, but now I must. I'll see you all in StarClan, StreamClan…" He faded into the starry hunting grounds of StarClan. Letting himself collapse, he just curled up and slept.
Ravenclaw nodded and mewed, "Everone ready?" She lead them to the grounds, and then said, "Stop. Only Sandleaf and I should go. I need to collect my nine lives with only Sandleaf." She found the sharing place, and began to share with StarClan for her nine lives.
Sandleaf Sandleaf waited patiently for the deputy to complete the leader's ritual. She didn't know what they would do now, but hopefully they would get through it and survive.
Ravenclaw woke in a starry clearing, with nine starry cats around her. Warblercall stepped forward and mewed, "Ravenclaw. We are to give you your nine lives. Here are the cats." A tortoiseshell and white she cat stepped up. "My name is Ospreyshade. My gift is balance. The ability to balance everything just right, so it doesn't tip over and crash. I failed to do this as a deputy." Searing pain shot throug her body as she touched her nose to Ospreyshade's. A yellow and black tom then stepped up. "Feverfewthorn. My gift is the one of compassion. Sometimes you have to be merciful for any cat. It will let StreamClan grow once again." A smaller hurt spread through her body from her nose. A brown and white tom stepped up. "I am Deersplash. I give you the gift of judgement. This will allow you to decide whether one or the other is right to do." She braced herself for the shock of pain. Another cat stepped up. His pelt was fiery orange. "I am Flamestripe. The father of Vermillionpaw's father. This is one of the most important gifts. It is the gift of wisdom. Without this, guiding a Clan is almost impossible." A rippling in her mind told her that the gift was given. A green eyed grey she cat. Her mother stepped up. Jaybreeze. "Ah, my daughter. I always knew that you were special. I give you clear mindedness. Even in fights, your mind will stay clear, and this is important. Never forget." She licked Ravenclaw's head, then touching their noses. Not as much pain came into her body. She saw a white furred cat step up. "I'm Cloudfog. A nobody. My gift is for you a ferocity to defend your Clan." Rage seemed to return to her as the cat pressed her muzzle onto Ravenclaw's. A fully mottled gray cat walked up. "My name is Dioriteclaw. My gift to you is mercy. Sometimes our rage bubbles over. This will let a cat go free, but only once will it save them." She felt a calming sensation run through her. A stone gray tom stepped forward. Her father, Stormwind. "Jaybreeze and I have missed you. My gift is the one of endurance. Life throws things we can't go under easily at us. This will let you keep fighting when all is seemingly lost." A wave of strength reinjuvinated her. Finally, Warblrrcall stepped up. "Ravenclaw, tell Eagleflight I love her. Tell Skypool as well. My gift is that of love. Love gives us strength, it gives us courage, it gives us guidance. It blinds us as well, but rarely. Use this to care about our Clan with the same love of a sibling." He gently pressed his nose on hers, and warmth spread throug her. Warblrrcall mewed, "Now, you are Ravenstar. My sister, live for me. Ravenstar! Ravenstar!" The other eight cats joined in, and she closed her eyes. Ravenstar woke up. Her body felt fresh as morning dew.
Ravenstar mewed, "I have all nine lives. We may go and join StreamClan again." She padded off, and said to Sandleaf, "It went well, and I believe that we have to go into the Twolegplace still."
