Hagon gathered leaves and made himself a bed in his portion of the shelter, lying down on it with a sigh.

Zane did nothing to his portion, simply knowing that he didn't need sleep in the first place, but he sat in it with his legs crossed. 'If only I could get away with killing Hagon.' He thought to himself. 'But I doubt that'll go over well with the group around. Have to.. lure him somewhere..'

Holly said, "Hrafn is probably a sociopath from her past, watching our mother die a cruel death, but that hasn't happened with you. You are fine, strong."

Aurora looked at her. “But it’s my fault she died! I didn't show her enough love...”

Holly said, "It wasn't you. The pressure built on her, but nothing you did would've helped. She left to feel better." She then said, "If you don't manage to confront your feelings, you won't be able to get over them. She loved you with her heart, do not shame her memory." Old sayings came to her. "You would, as the old Icelandic people said, be dishonoring her momory to feel guilt. Remember that she only wanted to help you."

“I guess your right.” She patted Holly’s head. “You are a good kid, Holly.”

Holly said, "I'm still taller than you." In a joking spirit, of course. She then said, "Let's get back." She stood up and said, "Maybe we're those true chosen ones." Then she got back to the camp. Hrafn still wasn't back. She started to get worried.

Hrafn found a deer. After taking it to a stone, and asking if the offering was enough, she killed it and let the blood be the sacrifice. Then the All-Father spoke.
"You must stay calm. Your purpose here seems to be to take the brutality of the force and fight it. I will guide you." Then a knife clattered on the stone. It looked to be made of quartz, and it glowed a soft, pale yellow. The tool of his guidance. She put it into a spare sheath and got back to the camp.

Aurora waited for Hrafn too, so she could apologize.

Hrafn's eyes pierced the darkness with the skill and touch of a hunter. She saw every stone, blade of grass, every rustling leaf. After drawing the new knife, she spun it and tossed it a few times, then sheathed it. The blade had a soft warmth radiating from its core. She got into the tent and said, "What are our priorities?" Her voice had a cold, sharp edge, and she just cleaned her knives and hatchet.

Aurora went over to Hrafn. “Hey, I’m sorry Hrafn. Okay?” She stared waiting for a response.
Mysticdream got up. “Well, we need to see if the waters clean at the waterfall, if not then have something to drain it.”

Hrafn curtly nodded. Her hunting instinct told her something seemed to be nearby. She raised a hand for silence, then took her hatchet and investigated.

Aurora watched Hrafn. What was out there?

Hrafn heard a snap, then crouched low. A large predator, by how confidently it walked. Probably full. She then poised her hatchet to attack. A huge wolf stepped into her line of sight. She dispatched it with a quick cut to the jugular artery. Then she dragged it over to camp. "That's what that was caused by." She then wiped her blade.

Aurora played with the wolf’s dead body.

Hrafn rolled her eyes and said, "The smell will help to ward off other predators." She then said to Aurora, "What should I do with it?"
