I'm working on filling these two boxes with cardinal's and bluejays... the cardinal's are definitely more rare than the bluejays XD

I have a question XD is cattails based off of stardew valley? I play stardew valley and the two games are basically the same, just cattails is easier and stardew valley is about farming.
Similarities Both games have some characters as marriagable and some not. In a way, cattails lets you marry a cat the same gender as you, depending on what gender you depict said cat as, and stardew valley lets you marry a bachelor/bachelorette of the same gender as your character, or you. Both games have a friendship system that is relatively similar. You talk to a character daily, and give them some gifts, and they like you more. The only difference is stardew valley has it harder to befriend the characters, and it may take seasons to do, meanwhile cattails lets you get to five hearts in like... a couple days. both games have mines, where you gather minerals and defeat enemies both games have the same main story idea. In stardew valley its the community center, where you gather certain items to complete bundles to restore the community center, and unlock parts of the game. In cattails its the guardian quest, where you gather items to give to the pillars, so that you can unlock the final part of the game, the custom colony. both games have events at (or near) the end of a season, stardew valley has the flower dance, dance of the moonlight jellies, spirits eve, and the feast of the winter star, while cattails has its festivals at the end of each season Differences
Cattails is obviously about cats, and all the characters are cats, while stardew valley has humans. Stardew valley is about farming, while cattails doesn't exactly have something its about, cattails lets you do whatever you want, wanna go fill you storage with prey? GO AHEAD! wanna go fill an entire in game tile with doves just to make your game lag for fun? GO AHEAD! thats what cattails says XD cattails is a bit more limited, while stardew valley has a large map and many things to do after the community center (or joja mart stuff is purchased) is finished, and stuff is still being added for people to do in stardew valley, cattails kind of ends story-wise with finishing the forest guardian quest, after you finish that quest its kind of open world "lets go fill a whole tile with doves cause I'm bored" (looking at you spottedleaf XD) stardew valley has more days in a season than cattails, cattails having 10 while stardew valley having 28
I think I pretty much covered everything XD but is it based off stardew valley or just suspiciously and coincidentally similar

Yeah, I agree with you right there. I wish there were more things to do besides start a new colony after completing the main quest. It gets boring trying to fill up tiles for your colony
