She tried to argue that since she still had the receipt and the tags on the pair of pants, that she should be able to return it and receive a full refund. We didn't even have that brand of pants anymore, for one thing.

I told her we couldn't refund it because it'd been past the 6 month policy. She asked to speak to my manager about it. My manager told her the exact same thing I did.

My mom had lots of people try to come in past close when she worked at Joann. I saw it firsthand too, since she closed and I waited outside for her, like people would park all crooked in a panic, run over to the door, get mad it was closed, and drive off. Like, the hours are on the door, it says the time they close, yet they still expect to come in

It's so annoying how people do that. Closed means get out and go home, not continue shopping 15 more minutes.

The last customer I had needed to return something, and then turn around and repurchase the things she was returning to extend the time she had to decide if they'd work or not.
