I had this too, it means you gotta plug something in like headphones or whatever to make sound play. Atleast that worked for me.

I had this too before, with my old Windows XP(I have Windows 7 now) but I never found a way to fix it.(I didn't have speakers or headphones at the time) We ended up having to clean the whole computer because it had gotten a virus or something. But I have a Windows 7 now, so I'm good. xD
