Jay smiled when Heather recognized him, laughing and shrugging at her accusation. "No, I'm just taking an afternoon stroll." He said sarcastically, then rolled his eyes. "Of course I am. Where else would I be?" He asked, smirking as he walked over. She'd changed, just as he did. Now instead of bandages he wore a black eyepatch; must easier to manage. He'd changed his clothing and grown taller, as was expected, but his demeanor seemed to have changed as well. He looked a lot happier than he used to be. He ruffled his cousin's hair as he approached, being taller than she was.
Heather rolled her eyes at Jays sarcastic comment. Instead of the old clothing she used to wear, she now has a more mature teenage style. And the length of her hair was no longer the same, yet it had grown out a few inches. "I know you believe that I need help, but my hair was just fine," she smirked, running her fingers through her hair, getting it to lay back the way it was before. "You look like a pirate," she remarked, giving him a facial expression of fake disgust.
Claire got up from the couch and placing the book back on the small bookshelf, she knew no one else was around besides Luca at the moment and she wanted someone to talk to as she didn't want to leave the building that she called home with Luca all by himself here.
"Hmm...my favorite memory? I have too many to count, but i guess, it would be the memory of meeting all you and making friends here on the forums. :3" ”One day I’m going to sit down and make a list of all the books that I finished reading....” “It's going to be a long list...”

Kuroba grinned, finishing the cracker she had been eating and pushing herself off the counter. "Well, I guess we can start now." She commented, glancing towards the apprentices and then walking outside. It was a nice, open area--probably a cleared out parking lot or something. Trees that had overgrown sort of encompassed it, making it a bit invisible from the outside. It was a nice place for training, anyway. Deciding to warm up before they started, she looked up and locked her eyes on a passing crow. Her heterochromic eyes flashed as the bird's lit up, and suddenly she was controlling it.
Flapping her wings, Crow-ba (get it?) blinked and looked down, searching the ground. She flew down the path that Jay usually took for his parkouring, scanning the building tops for him. She still couldn't see him, until she came upon the ruins. Noticing him talking to Heather, she made the crow fly down and sit on his head, making a loud squawk before lightly pecking him on the head and fluttering off.
Kuroba blinked, losing control of the crow. She had been sitting in front of the door to the hideout for at least seven minutes or so now, and she shook her head clear. She was fine, having practiced for hours upon hours.
Jay laughed. "Oh come on; you know you used to let me style your hair all the time." He said, winking his eye at her, though it just looked like an exaggerated blink. Ah, well. Though at her comment on how he looked like a pirate he rolled his eye, shaking his head. "You know how much easier it is to maintain an eye patch instead of bandages?" He asked, blinking in surprise as he felt something land on his head. He glanced up to see a crow staring back at him, it's dark eyes flashing in the sunlight with the reflection of Kuroba's heterochromic eyes. He could tell because he often went out training with her in their free time, and grew to recognize the look. He jumped a little when it pecked him on the head, shaking his head hard and reaching up to grab it, though it only squawked at him and flew away, ruffling his hair. He glared after it, then sighed. "Come on, Kuroba. You can't leave me be for five minutes." He complained, though it was lighthearted. It was clear he didn't mean it.
"So, are you and Kuroba like a thing now?" Heather asked. She tried not to show how disappointed she was, but it made her feel a little bit happier to know that Jay was happy.
Jay looked back at Heather, smiling. It wasn't even cocky this time; a real smile that only showed at special moments. "Yeah. We got together about a year ago." He said, looking thoughtful. It had been rough at first, mainly Kuroba convincing him to go out on a date with her, but once he'd relented he realized he really did care for her. He put his hands in his jacket pockets. "You found someone yet?" He asked, sounding like his old self again and smirking at his cousin.
Heather nodded. But at Jay's question, her cheeks turned a pale pink color. "Nah, but it's nice that you care." she said with a small smirk. "Kuroba told me that Allen and Isaac aren't in the hideout anymore,"
(Could we pretend that both Allen & Jasmine from the old Rp of this died? or could I switch the new characters for them or something? didn't know this was a year or something after the later Rp)
Claire looked towards the stairs as she thought of the boy again as it was haunting her more then ever with curiosity digging into her like knives. "What am I going to do...?" as she figured she would have to mentor Luca but didn't know exactly how since he was her first apprentice.

May poked at Kuroba's cheek, pouting. "Anyone home?" She teased. Suddenly, she reanimated, alive and ready to go. Startled, May quickly regained her composition. "Went to rendevous with Jay?" She teased goodnaturedly. "Let's train."

Kuroba rubbed her eyes, then looked up at May. "Oh, haha, yeah. He's talking to his cousin." She stood up, stretching. "Okay. So, your ability is Perception, right?" She asked, going through her mind about all the facts about that ability and how she could help it get better. She had seen people make entire buildings vanish to the human eye using that particular ability.
"How are you and the other Naturals able to teach someone else how to control their power, even if they don't have the same one?" Oliver asked curiously, raising an eyebrow. "Do they all require the same type of start, or something?"

"Well.." Kuroba started to explain, then frowned. "Um.. I think." She furrowed her brow in thought, tapping her chin. "Well, more or less, naturals just help with concentration. Using the actual power is something you have to learn on your own, unless someone experienced with it can teach you. I think." She explained, which was not an easy thing to do.
"Oh, I see! I don't think about it much, but we're all so different, y'know. I'm sorry if the question was hard to answer!" Oliver said, smiling. His hand cupped the side of his cheek, and his other wrist was under his elbow, propping it up. He watched May's expression. Her eyes were dull with boredom, and that was all he could see through her cheerful mask. He didn't pay it any mind.

Kuroba laughed at the boy's kindness. She did admire that in him, and was happy to have him as an apprentice. "So, should we get started?" She asked. Of course she didn't want to say anything, but she had temporarily forgotten Oliver's ability. Oh dear.
