May glanced around. "Yeah, perception. But I barely know how to use it." That for the most part was untrue. She had practiced privately in the past, but she figured a miraculous development of her powers would look better on her grade rather than slowly over time. The Oliver boy began to talk again. Glancing over, she saw genuine excitement dancing in his eyes. How droll. It's not like he hadn't done this before.
((i dont like mays evilness but i cant say i dont do that lmao)) ((aLSO THIS IS MY LAST POST UNTIL I BECOME STARCLANIAN ARENT YOU PROUD OF MY CLO IM GOING TO BE DEAD LIKE YOU <33)) (((good luck getting as old as me budge!!)))
"My power is Absolute Obedience!" Oliver added. "I don't think I know how to use it all that much either, but I'm good with issuing simple commands, like raising a hand or nodding," he piped cheerfully, doing small gestures to side with his statement. He couldn't do anything complicated, for sure, but when he did try out his power, it wasn't particularly weak, but it doesn't last for long, either.
Heather nodded. But at Jay's question, her cheeks turned a pale pink color. "Nah, but it's nice that you care." she said with a small smirk. "Kuroba told me that Allen and Isaac aren't in the hideout anymore,"
Jay laughed, shrugging. "It's the least I can do for a cousin." He said, smiling. Though at her comment on Allen and Isaac he stopped, shrugging again. "Yeah, they left a while back. I couldn't tell you where they are now, even with my ability." He said. He'd tried a few times, but they simply couldn't be found. He had no idea why, but he'd already put it behind him. Leo wasn't that bad of a leader, anyways. He glanced around, blinking. "So, how much have you practiced your ability lately? Wasn't it me who one the last time we tried it?" He asked, smirking.

Heather rolled her eyes in a playful manner. "What? I think it's beginning to get to your head, Jay." She then chuckled. "You got your logic wrong." she teased, running her fingers through her hair.
(Congrats on leveling! It'll prob take me a year to get to StarClan Member. I'm so inactive)

((congrats u r ded)) Kuroba nodded, thinking. She would get to May in a second, after all, her apprentice came first--no offense to May, though. It just wasn't her fault that she wasn't being mentored. "Okay, Ollie." She locked eyes with a bird, making it fly down and sit on the ground. "Try to make the bird squawk." She said. It was easier to work on animals, since with humans they might suspect something.
Jay smirked. "Is it? Or are you too scared to challenge me?" He jabbed, raising an eyebrow. He'd missed these conversations with his cousin, he realized. He folded his arms as he surveyed her, his eye glinting almost competitively. He'd trained a lot over the past two years, and was much, much better now at his ability than he had been before. He wondered how much Heather had advanced, though didn't let it show, simply smirking and waiting for her to respond.
"Ah, yup! I'll try that!" Oliver said, concentrating. His eyes flashed for a second, but the bird was only able to open it's mouth. The boy pouted, and he tried again with the same results. "Ahaha, guess I need more practice," he laughed, shrugging it off. "I wanna be able to try it on you people one day!" he said playfully, winking and sticking his tongue out at the same time.

Heather couldn't help the fact that she was smiling. She'd missed her cousin, however annoying he was. But that was probably what she loved most about him. She stuck out her bottom lip and gave him a hurt expression. "Jay, do you think you're better than me?" she asked. However, she hadn't been training as much as her cousin. Heather was more focused on forgetting about the fact that she had powers, rather than getting used to them. But even so, every once in a while she'd try.
Leo watched the three in amusement, "One day but nothing crazy okay?" as he remebered the first time he used his ability which resulted in him running a couple of blocks from a couple of girls be that didn't seem to stop him.
"Hmm...my favorite memory? I have too many to count, but i guess, it would be the memory of meeting all you and making friends here on the forums. :3" ”One day I’m going to sit down and make a list of all the books that I finished reading....” “It's going to be a long list...”

Triumphantly, May looked on as the boy was unable to make the now confused bird squawk. Glancing at Oliver, her jovial expression vanished, offering a sympathetic smile in its stead. She was quite pleased that the boy was such a newcomer. She glanced at the calm bird. It would make her development even greater, no? She smiled thoughtfully to herself as she sat crouched on the ground, tugging at a piece of grass. The wind tugged slightly at loose strands of blond hair. What a nice day.

Kuroba did her best to laugh, but she was a bit concerned. That was a fairly easy task, and it was obvious the boy was severely lacking. Had he not ever used it before? Was he just so inexperienced? The girl furrowed her brow in silence, thinking. She didn't know how to tell him of his flaws without insulting him. "Did you ever use your power much before you came to the league?" She asked, deciding that was the right question. Kuro had no doubt that he could indeed become stronger, but it would take a lot--and she meant a lot--of practice.
"Haahh, no, I didn't, actually! The league had taken me in just the day after I discovered I had this ability, which was, mmm, not that long ago. I think May was here before me, though, haha," he said, scratching his head sheepishly. "I didn't really think of embracing it, much less mastering it at the time, so I never really worked on it," his expression was apologetic, with a sort of crooked smile to pair with it.

Jay rolled his eye at her hurt expression, knowing her well enough to know she was faking. "Maybe." He smirked, a challenging glint in his eye as he looked at her. "Why don't we see for ourselves who's more skilled?" He asked, raising an eyebrow at her. He folded his arms, confident in his abilities. If he really concentrated he could see up to 50 or more miles somewhere, but he rarely went that far. It took up too much energy and effort, in his opinion.
