So I've had it for the second them, very weird... Well from the first time... This thread is for sharing experiences with sleep paralysis, with hopes of making it not so scary!
First time: I was falling asleep and waking myself up to have a Lucid dream., I finally found out I was in a dream., but then forgot... I woke myself up again and was paralyzed, everything turned green and itfelt like iI was being transported to another dimension! I woke up screaming and everyone on the room jumped (I wassleeping on a couch)
Second ttime (happened a few day ago) I woke up from having a dream about getting sprayed with sprinklers at night and was in the bed with my mom (I can't really stand being alone...) And felt weird, I was paralyzed before I could reach her and woke up in the morning, it was really quick.

Yeah, I experience it several times a week. I've gotten used to it, but it still scares me. I hate the feeling of suffocating and not being able to move. Though, I've found ways to quickly dispatch it.

No, but I've been having lucid dreams often.
Like, this past week I've been having these dreams and like... I know I'm dreaming, but I can't control my actions. I haven't gotten sleep paralysis, though. But like when I wake up I never jolt awake - it's a gradual process.
Sleeping on your back apparently contributes to lucid dreaming and I've been doing it more because it's summer and I don't feel as hot as sleeping on my side - but staring at a light before you sleep decreases the chance and I look at my phone before bed pretty often (I know it's bad, I don't do it that often tho)

Also don't sleep on your back. Sleeping on your back increases the chances of having a lucid dream.

I've never had sleep paralysis, thankfully. I do believe I have had at least one lucid dream, but I forget its events. I do have dreams, apparently, that cause me deja vu due to the dream's events happening at some point in time after the dream itself.

I had a dream once about Shrek and Spongebob. It was a nightmare. I jolted awake and had seen numbers flashing on the window. Another time, I had a dream where I was transported to a world identical to mine by a mirror. There were floating, jellyfish-like lampshades. It was a strange dream. Your dreams are nothing compared to mine, Jade.

I've dreamed when I was awake before.
I didn't know I was doing it - and was pretty young. So yeah, I was laying on my back in my dark room. my body was asleep, but i didnt know.
I heard voices, but thought they were just from outside. I saw shadows moving but I thought they were cars driving outside.
Then I saw Slenderman staring at me through the window :') So I wanted to get up to punch him in the ''face'' to see what it actually was, and if it were real, but I couldn't move. I was like WHAT WHY ?! and then I ''woke up'' and the creepy stuff dissapeared. Even tho it was creepy i liked it xD

Those? I used to like Ben Drowned, Slenderman, Jeff The Killer etc. It's less now, but they are still ok. (Like I said, when I had the dream I was younger) I'm more into FNaF and Outlast right now. Which'll make my dreams only scarier xD
