Elvis and Ember are fine.
I went to CVS today and picked up some of the Neosporin ointment. My parents put that on his scratch. I hope that helps.

It's great to k ow that your others kittehs are fine. You remember when poor Elvis was lost for a while, and then was found later, under a lawnmower, if I remember correctly. Hope he doesn't have a fear of lawnmowers after that, haha.

✞~Spottedleaf ~✞ - There isn't anything wrong with your cat. He/she just injured itself, and its just a scab that it trying to heal. If he keeps scratching it, a cone won't work. Most cats can squeeze out of their cones, which is annoying. But, it might work. The best bet would to cover it up with something thick- like putting cloth over it.

I thought a cone was supposed to keep pets from scratching wounds like that?

To my knowledge cones are helpful for dogs, but cats can squeeze out of a lot of stuff. Like, my cats don't wear collars because they squeeze out of them no matter what. Honestly, I'd say it depends on the cat, because I used to have a cat who didn't sqeeze out of everything.

Copper doesn't even have a collar on. He doesn't really need to have one anyways, since he doesn't go outside.
