It's been fifteen years since the day it all began. The disappearances...the screams echoing off the buildings. Fifteen years since the corpses began showing up in trash cans and dumpsters, hidden beneath bushes or in garbage bags on the side of the road. We all know where it comes from, but anyone who goes inside that place never comes back out alive. That horrid building...ruined and rotting on the outside, where demons howl within. It was caught in a fire almost two decades ago, almost burning to the ground, but it didn't. It remains, dark and haunted as the depths of the underworld. Sometimes people see cars pulling up to it, with men in strange suits or lab coats entering inside. No one can explain why they go there, or why they never come back out. Terrifying creatures roam about that place; vampires and werewolves and other monsters. It gives me chills just thinking about it...
What? Finished questioning me already? Alright..ill give you a parting word of advice, traveler. Don't go to that place; don't enter that death place. And most importantly, stay above ground.

Twenty years ago, a large orphanage burned to the ground. Fifteen years ago, a secret lab was built directly beneath it, branching out for miles in all directions. Scientists from all over the world came to work there, mainly specializing in genetics. They sought to make the unreal real, creating various supernatural creatures from manipulating the very DNA of the children they stole. Embryos and young children were taken from their mothers, kidnapped or bought before they were born, and raised in this lab. Results varied from child to child; some were killed if the experiments didn't succeed, and fed to the others to give them strength. Animals from all over were also killed and brought to the lab, some kept alive for the scientists to experiment on. Despite their efforts though, thus far the scientists have been unable to make real supernatural beings. Instead, they have succeeded in making 'copies' of them, the children possessing the traits of the creature, but not the magic. They are treated horribly, to say the least. Sometimes scientists even pit them against each other in the ring for entertainment, like a savage dog fight.
However, there seems to be hope for these experiments, human-based or not. A unique organization has arisen, calling itself 'Oasis'. It is made up of humans who seek to rescue the experiments from the lab, employing detectives and investigators to discover the lab and destroy it. The experiments who do manage to escape on their own are often rescued by Oasis, as they cannot survive on their own. Humans view them as monsters and wish to kill them for being as they are. Oasis nurses them back to health, and if they wish teaches them to fight and sends them out on the field with a human partner, to join the battle against the lab. If not, they are sent to a special 'habitat' where they can live in peace with one another, without the judgement or discrimination of humanity. However, Oasis is not all that it seems. Not everyone's hearts are so pure, and not everyone has the same desires for these experiments. Some return from the fight alone, covered in the blood of their inhuman partner. Some enslave them in their own twisted ways. Is there any safe place for these souls? While there ever be peace? Currently..it's unknown.

Roles:
Caged Experiment: This includes all experiments who are currently in the lab. They have no power whatsoever; they may as well be animals chained to the walls. They are recognized by the thick cuffs on their wrists and ankles (sometimes around their neck), as well as the all white clothing they wear.
Free Experiment: This includes all experiments who have escaped the lab or been rescued by Oasis. Not being able to live in the world on their own, free experiments go to Oasis to live. Free Experiments are able to wear whatever clothing they wish, and are often seen following around their human partner, if they have one. If not, somewhere around Oasis's base.
Investigator or Detective: This includes all humans who work at Oasis. Detectives are considered to be less skilled than Investigators, and don't participate in the battlefield much. They also only have an experiment partner if said experiment does not wish to fight.
Scientist: This includes all humans working at the lab. They have all the power and can treat experiments however they like. There are different types of scientists that work in the lab. There are those that work directly with the experiments, those that work with the new embryos that come in, those that work in the control room, and the rest who are considered to be less skilled than the official scientists, and thus are made to do the 'dirty' or 'boring' work, such as guard duty or cleaning up after the experiments. They are recognized by wearing a white lab coat or an official ID hanging from their shirt or belt.
Requirements:
-Each reply must be at least 1 paragraph long, meaning 4+ sentences per post
-Please reply at least once every 2-3 days. If you will be away for longer, please PM me or make a post in the Chat PM
-You may play more than one character, however they cannot be from the same role
-You may use an anime picture as reference for your character, however it is preferred if you would use a real person's picture instead.
-At the beginning of each post, please put your characters name, role, and location
