(Wait no longer, friends! I am so so sorry that I updated late! Ughgh I just had so many stuff to do, and things on my mind right now. But here is the update, without further due! Hopefully the next update will come quicker and on the appointed time. Please mind my horrible editing, but be aware there will be much more in the time to come.)
-Dream something important and relevant to your future! My eyelids grew heavy and I felt tired. Soon I drifted off into the deep abyss of sleep.
Then I was aware of being in another world. Where was I? The ground I was on did not feel like grass. It felt hard and gritty beneath my webbed paws. It was slick as well. I forced myself to look down and realized I was not back in the apprentice den.
A bright, blinding light shone in the corner of my eye, to my left. The place I was in; a cave of some sort, it was dark and hard to see in. But the light was exceedingly bright and blinding. It pierced my eyes and numbed my senses. I couldn't look directly into the source of light.
I could only feel myself asking more questions as two starlit-cats appeared in front of me, their glowing, transluscent eyes lit with grief, mistrust and fear. Their light, starry pelts twinkled brilliantly in the dark of the cave, and aside from the other mysterious glow in the corner of the cave, they were the only things illuminating the cave and blurring the darkness.
Their mouths slowly opened and closed. At first it began as a quiet muttering, then turned into low, but audible chanting.
"Not one of us." They whispered. "Not of the stars."
Then the ground beneath me suddenly vanished, replace with the bright image of stars, surrounded in the inky blackness of the sky of the night.
Then I was falling, slowly, steadily, then fast. Faster and faster I fell, away from the stars, that shrunk out of my vision until they were but tiny, white lights in the sky. I opened my mouth to scream, to call for help, to beg for the star-lit cats to come again and save me. But they never did.
I landed with a splash in cold wet water. A cool, frothy liquid surrounded me and blue clouded my vision. I sank lower and lower into the endless river of water. But a strange feeling overwhelmed me. I felt at home; almost as if I should be here, almost if I belonged here. This, I realized, was where I should be. I did not belong up there in the stars, where the sky seemed so daunting and large. I suddenly noticed the dark shaped drifting towards me. They were looked like cats but they were much more sleek than the RiverClan cats that were built to swim themselves. They swam through the water with much ease, gliding through the water with short but powerful legs equipped with webbed paws.
So much like me...
They looked up at me with warm, beckoning eyes. I felt at peace.
I awoke, breathing hard and fearful of my dream. I could feel Bluepaw sleeping quietly beside me, his chest rising and falling in content sleep. What was my dream? What happened? And most importantly, what would I do next?
- Tell the medicine cat. Maybe she'd understand and would be able to make sense of the dream.
- Tell Bluepaw. See what he thinks about it!
- Tell the leader. It could be an important dream!
- Ignore it, and continue on with daily business.
- Tell the leader you'd like to be a medicine cat apprentice already.

(Woo! Here we go. Update! Yeah, this one came later than I expected. I was originally planning to get this to you sooner around saturday or sunday but again, procrastination gets in the way. :/ Apologies. Wooh, this is a long one guys! Get ready!)
Chapter 6 - Tell the medicine cat. Maybe she'd understand and would be able to make sense of the dream.
In a few seconds I had slipped quietly out of the apprentice den, managing to rise and exit from my nest without as little much as a grunt in response for my disruptive movement. I moved quickly and carefully, doing my best not to draw attention from others who might be awaking. It was dawn, in the early morning of light, and the sun was just barely rising above the horizon, showering everything with soft rays and painting the sky a golden-purple color. I padded over to the entrance of the medicine cat den. "Willowfur?" I whispered quietly in the stilness of the rising sun. "Willowfur!" I whispered more loudly. My beckoning call was answered with a grunt and a few grumbles as Willowfur blundered out of the den and into the sunlight. "What do you want?" She grunted harshly. "What could be so important that you wake me up almost in the middle of the night? Dear StarClan, don't tell me you have a stomach ache?" She fixed my anxious gaze with a glare of her own. "Don't expect me to get up so early just to give you herbs for that. I'm going back to sleep." Willowfur turned and made a great show of turning her rump to me and started walking back inside the den. I grimaced. "No Willowfur! I don't have a stomach ache. It's actually much, much important. There's something that's been troubling me. I thought you might able to help..." She slowed down and glanced back, curiosity written on her face. Then she turned to me again. "What is it?" She asked, clearly more interested now. Her voice was soft and comforting, an obvious opposite to the sassy display she had been putting on mere seconds ago. "I had a dream last night." "A dream? That's a bit rare. Almost no other cat have dreams these days except for the leader and the medicine cat. Even if they do have dreams, it's mostly about chasing mice or hunting fish and whatnot. Something serious must be going on. Tell me, what was in the dream?" I squinted hard, trying to remember the vision from last night. Dreams were vague, fleeting and almost impossible to remember. Once you awoke, all the memories and the details instantly slip from your mind and don't come resurfacing back until hours, or days even. And even if you do remember the events at one point, it's hard to describe a dream. I sighed. Explaining this would be difficult. I did my best. "I woke up in this cave area... with a bright light shining." I began. Willowfur was listening intently. "Then I saw two ghostly cats with transluscent pelts, glowing with the light of the stars." Willowfur almost gasped. "StarClan cats? But that's not possible.." She trailed off as her former apprentice, Mousepounce came to stand by her. "What's going on? Am I missing something? I heard noise.." "Oh, it's nothing Mousepounce. Me and Weaslepaw were just talking about something." Willowfur offered. "It shouldn't be much interest to you. Go back to sleep, we have a busy day ahead of us this morning sorting herbs." "Alright." The small grey fuzzy she-cat said, bouncing back to her small nest snuggled tightly in the corner of the den and began setting back into the sweet embrace of sleep. "Continue." "Then they started chanting... Saying I was not one of them." I looked up at Willowfur nervously. "Is that a bad thing?" "I'm not sure." Willowfur admitted. She looked nervous, and appeared to be fidgeting with her paws. "I've never met a cat who was not meant to be destined for the stars before. Isn't that where all cats belong? Unless...?" "Are you suggesting what I think you are?" I asked nervously. I suddenly felt dizzy and out of breath. The dream was slightly discomforting when I had first woken up but now that I was starting to see that the dream really was bad, I felt sick. That dream had been implying that I was unnatural, and didn't belong. Not with the cats and not with the stars. The quickly rising bile in my throat tasted bitter. Was I really not a cat? That made sense. After all these moons I had felt that I never really belonged... "No!" Willowfur quickly said. "I'm not sure if it's a bad thing... what if you're special? I mean, you wouldn't be in the clan if you weren't a cat, right? Your mother is Streamtail. I'm sure you're no different from the rest of us cats. We have the same red blood, after all. Was there more to your dream?" "Yes. The ground suddenly dissappeared beneath me, then I was falling so fast. Falling farther and farther from the stars as they shrank. The star-lit cats never came for me after that. Then I fell into a black inky pool, and around floating around me were the shapes of animals that looked so much like me..." Willowfur sat there pondering for a moment, considering. "You hit water, you say? Could this be a prophecy from StarClan? A warning? An omen?" She looked up at me. "You are not of the stars maybe, but you are of the water!" She looked up at me with twinkling eyes, as if the pieces were starting to come together now. "What if were not sent by StarClan, but created from the river? Think about it. Water protects RiverClan. It is our main element. It creates and destroys. It is an important source of nourishment all basic animals rely on. It can save a life, and also take it away. Could it mean you are a cat specially created from the water to save us? It's a long stretch, but that is the most I can make out of the dream. I still have to think about it." "Well, it does seem a bit far-fetched. If I was molded by the water, what exactly is my purpose? I'm not feeling all to special right now..." "Remember the tales they would tell you? Of the legendary and fabled Firestar that was sent to save ThunderClan long ago in those dark times? It may have been many moons back, but what if you are like that Firestar, except sent to save RiverClan in our time of need?" I was really skeptical about this. I wasn't special, or some legendary hero like Firestar. The thought of being praised and revered, constantly looked up to sent shivers down my spine. I didn't want that. It couldn't be right. Somehow I felt like the dream meant something different instead. "I don't know... I can't imagine any kind of danger RiverClan could still be in. Besides, what kind of fabled cat doesn't belong with the stars." "You're right." Willowfur sighed. "It was rather naive of me. But maybe the dream could have something to do with your body, how it is connected to your webbed paws, sleek fur and powerful legs and tail for swimming through the water." She looked up at me. "You seem so well adapted to the water. Yesterday, from the amazing tale I heard of your feat swimming in the water and catching a first for the first time, the way your brother said it, it made me think that you were so well connected with the water." Her eyes sparkled. "And talent like that, I'm sure, cannot be wasted or go to waste." She took a deep breath. "Hopefully StarClan will send me a dream or help me make sense of this. I'm the medicine cat, and I feel like I'm supposed to know everything about this but I just feel so lost. I'm not exactly sure what I can do next."
I could already hear the shuffling of paws as others awoke from their slumber. What should I do next?
- Tell Willowfur about your idea to become a medicine cat apprentice and see if she approves. - Postpone your decision to become a medicine cat apprentice and leave it for now. - Spend one more day as an ordinary apprentice with Bluepaw before deciding if you really want to become a medicine cat apprentice. - Start your day by training with Bluepaw or a mentor. - Tell someone else about the dream (insert character here).

"Hmm...my favorite memory? I have too many to count, but i guess, it would be the memory of meeting all you and making friends here on the forums. :3" ”One day I’m going to sit down and make a list of all the books that I finished reading....” “It's going to be a long list...”
- Postpone your decision to become a medicine cat apprentice and leave it for now.
Dawn breaks, and I've made my decision. I want to postpone my choice to become the apprentice of a medicine cat- at least for now. It just doesn't feel right... the strange dream. It troubles me and sends tremors shivering through my body. I'll have to find more about it soon. I figured postponing my decision to become a medicine apprentice would be best. After all, what use is a medecine cat if they cannot properly connect with StarClan? They need the dreams, the vision and the knowledge from StarClan to help the clan and...
I slip quietly into the apprentice den. Then I freeze in my tracks. Bluepaw is already up, staring at me. "Where were you?" He whispered quietly. I hesitated and gulped. How could he have gotten up this early? I thought he would have still been sleeping. He must have noticed the absence of warmth next to his fur. "Nothing." I reply quickly. "I couldn't sleep, that's all." It was true. I couldn't sleep, not after that troubling dream. "Well? Have you told Clearstar about your choice to become a medicine cat?" He continued more quietly now. His blue eyes were wide now, full of hope, waiting for my response. "No. I decided to postpone it for now. I guess I'm just not ready." I sighed. Bluepaw's tense shoulders seemed to relax. "Oh... Well, if you seem to think that is the right choice, then it is the right choice." He nudged me affectionately with his nose. "Look on the bright side. At least you're not getting carted away to be cooped up in a hot den. You'll still get to spend some time with me. It'll be fun. You'll see." I sighed. My littermate still didn't seem to understand that being a medicine cat wasn't all about sitting in a stuffy den with herbs. That was good ol', oblivious Bluepaw "You've got to tell Streamtail." He said and I nodded. That seemed about the right thing to do. We headed over to the nursery. "Streamtail?" I asked, peering into the den. Streamtail was still awakening. "Yes?" She murmured groggily and looked up, struggling to stand upright. "I've decided to postpone my decision for being a medicine cat." Then I finished hurriedly. "At least for now. Streamtail fully sat up. The expression on her face was a mixture of confusion and slight dissapointment. "Oh?" She asked slowly. "What changed your mind so quickly? You figured you weren't up for it?" "I guess..." I replied. "It is your choice. If you feel it's best for you, it is." Streamtail replied warmly. She seemed to understand. That was a good thing. "Come on, Weaslepaw." Bluepaw said. "At least we can still train together, right? Let's ask go ask Jadepelt if she can come with us and teach us a couple of things.
We ran up to the clan camp exit. "Jadepelt!" I called. "Can you take me and Bluepaw outside the camp to go train?" Jadepelt eyed us for a moment, skeptical. "Maybe." Jadepelt said, squinting her eyes thoughtfully. "I can show you a thing or two. You are new apprentices after all. I can be your mentor for the day. Come, my shift is just about over. Another warrior can take over for me." She motioned something over to the guard next to her, and at a sharp yowl, another cat stepped up to take Jadepelt's place.
Then Jadepelt stepped forward and guided us outside of camp.
Being outside of cam was quite pleasant. Jadepelt showed us around the forest, giving us a guide on all the best spots for hunting and fishing as well as important landmarks. After that little trip, we were more knowledgable about RiverClan's territory now. Shortly after taking a break, Jadepelt led us besides an area very close to RiverClan camp. "Here begins your training." She said. "I'll be teaching you a couple of battle techniques today. Bluepaw and Otterpaw, you'll be going up against each other for this round. I will see what you already know." Bluepaw was clearly excited. "I bet I can beat you!" He called. I grinned. Bluepaw was ready to fight, and so was I. I was determined to win and prove myself as a capable apprentice. But which move would I take first?
- Start it off with the classic tail whip! - Don't attack yet, hop around Bluepaw to scout out weaknesses and see how strong he is first, and then attempt to dodge if he attacks. - A good nip to the neck should do it!
