Cerise soon gave up with trying to read in peace by going to where her apartment was since it was the only logical place to be where unlike the loud bustling music that her co-workers enjoyed- she only deemed them co-workers since she wasn't their friend but in her own defense she was a tad distant from the vampires. "Toning down the music would be much better for perhaps everyone." she muttered in her thick accent and had said it quietly to not let any of her kind hear/or be offended for liking said music.
James saw one of the lampposts' had started to flicker not on purpose but of old wiring or old bulb which he interned to replace before he went back home where he would tell his grandfather of the day at work once more and he sometimes stayed here at the haunted house since he too had his own apartment but he only used it during busy hours.

James took out the circuit board awhile crossing the wires as he realized they were loose and were barely touching eachother but enough to cause the light to flicker which would cause a fire or shock someone if not properly repaired, luckily for him that he was very skilled at what he does and had only got minor shocks that somehow he manged to brush off.

(The work day is over and everyone is doing their own thing, my characters; James is fixing a electric problem and Cerise is heading back to her dorm since the other vampires are having a birthday party or something)

Celine sat at one of her rickety wood tables, some tarot cards pushed to one side. She had not only changed into her human form, but also a more summery version of her default dress, with a pale yellow and white color scheme. Her hair was tied neatly into a high ponytail, and a pair of wine red wire rim glasses were perched on her nose. She uncrossed one leg from its position, and stood, slipping stockinged legs into her flats and heading off, without a stuffed animal in tow, oddly enough. She shut the door with a quiet click, and headed down the hall. It was often that the apartment house was most active at night. Monsters rarely slept.
After scouring the hallways with little luck, Kierdan headed back out into the lobby, flashing the receptionist a cold stare, and exited the building for a breath of fresh air. The other gargoyle that should've been on duty at that time was absent, he noted. He sat on the stone podium, scanning his eyes over the street only to see a teenaged boy working with the lamp post. Startled but also eager to meet a new face, he called out to the boy, perhaps a little too loudly. Or.. a lot- too loudly, his voice was heard clear down the block.
James jumped at the sudden call as he wasn't expecting anyone to be out at this hour despite the fact her worked at a haunted house, he turned around once he finished fixing the light which was quickly as he looked to see Keidran was the one that called out to him.
Cerise walked down the hallway with her boots clicking with almost each step as she was pretty light on her feet and her silvery hair was held by a satin black ribbon in the back of her head with a book held close to her which was a mystery novel.

(Okay.)
Bellarose hesitated on opening her coffin, not wanting to get out of her plush maroon velvet bed. She sighed, pushing open and sat up. Yawning, her canines glinted in the faint light. Her long arms stretched and she stood up. Climbing out, she wondered on what to do.
Leilah sat on a ledge, her book placed neatly on her lap. Her eyes scanned the page and she flipped the paper without creasing it. Her hair was tied into twin tails that made reading easier. Her usual poofy dress was replaced by a plum-black lace nightgown/silk sundress-y sort of thing. She was in human form, allowing her to blink, though rarely did she.
Cerise looked around as the vampire was quite bored since most of her kind were partying with loud music and she was unsure if anyone else was walking around, her blood-red eyes glanced over at the book which she actually has read over two times but the book never getting old but a tad boring despite the fact she still liked it.

Kierdan inspected the other boy's face with an amused smile. It was a human, whose face seemed familiar but name escaped him. "Nice to meet you, whats-your-face. You live here?" He chirped, long legs swinging from his tall seat. He folded his stony wings tightly against his body and gave a teasing smile, icy blue eyes glinting despite the dimly lit street.
Celine strolled down to the lobby, her frail frame swaying lightly with every step. The hem of her dress swished at her knees as she skipped down the stairwell, the one with a worn wooden railing she was quite fond of. She intended to check her mailbox. Though that bubbly gargoyle would often deliver mail, he would sometimes get lazy and end up leaving bigger packages. She stepped into the creepy lobby and, with a slight smile at the receptionist, swept across the room to the mailboxes.
"Names James, James S. Barnett." He repiled as he looked at the teen in front of him and he shook his a head a little, "Not exactly, I have a place here that I stay at somtimes but I also have a home where I stay at with my grandfather." as he put the tools he had in his hands back into his tool belt.

Kierdan gave a wry smile, tapping his finger against his jaw. "No wonder, no wonder- I'm the gargoyle. Surely you know the deal around here..." He said with a rare pause. He glanced at the lamp post with a tilted head. "What happened there? Er- did it break or something?" He had little knowledge of technology- rather evident at the moment, but he attempted to make conversation with the teenager.
"Of course I do," James repiled as he then glanced back at the lamppost for only a second or two before looking back at him, "Sort of, some of the wires were worn down and we're starting to spark which could've caused a fire if left unnoticed,"

"Ah, well that would've caused some unwanted drama." He said thoughtfully, mulling the simple idea over in his mind. It would've brought some attention to the haunted house- ah, that would've been good for business, but concerning for the monsters. They might've been found out. He observed the boy for a while more before speaking again. "You don't seem very concerned about the presence of monsters. Have you been living here a long time?"
